I think what really helps sandstorm stand out from other games is the focus on being realistic without overdoing the realism. It's still fun to play and not as hardcore as something like arma, but less obnoxious than a slide-cancelling shooter like call of duty

It's incredible how much more immersive the game is because of the comms. Not necessarily in a "this is a war" way, but in a "I'm playing a game with and against actual people" way. I like this much more than how silent, aside from your own small squad, multiplayer games usually are.

Dude I love the automatic voice lines on this game. The devs somehow managed to make them immersive and hilarious at the same time. I feel like that's how war actually is, and not this tacticool rambling we see on other games. Reminds me of the good ol days of battlefield 3. Glad to see you are part of the habibistani nation :)

This game is amazing due the facility way to play it's realistic and arcade at the same time. The game mechanics are just use grenades, walk and shoot, +Radio commands, however, you need to be tactical and pacient, in addition, we have the imersive atmosphere, nice sounds and maps. The problem is the developers marketing, this game has a potential to have over 5K players daily, can stay on top of SteamCharts...

ISMC and modded maps is where this game shines for me. Been playing Prison for months already. Saiga 12 with a drum mag is devastating.

ksg has 2 barrels it fires from. if you double tap r you can use the other fully loaded barrel and not reload the gun, effectively giving you a 14 rnd mag before you need to reload.

Hey there Tommo much love ❤️ would you recommend this game for the ps5 or battlefield 2042 I don't think I can play warzone until warzone 2 is released obv I'll play modern warfare 2 later this year to max some weapons before the big day but what would you say out of insurgency or battlefield is more enjoyable for console 😉

You'll definitely prefer Insurgency! Much more weapons and content on offer. Battlefield 2042 is in a very poor state at the moment sadly.

Yeah, I just don't like having it on all the time so have it on a keybind. I'm not a huge fan of the radial design of the compas in this game as it takes up more screen space than I'd like it to.

if u double tap R after you've ran out of bullets in ur first mag ksg, u can switch to the other 7 or 8 bullets in the other mag.... so basically you wont have to reload

Anyone on console have advice on more intuitive leaning while ADS? I can’t lean gradually, it just goes straight to all the way right/left. Might just be due to console limitations, idk

That's usually the case for most FPS games. Only some allow you to lean in increments... You can't even do that on PC!
