Shotguns as they were.. literally no point them being in the game. They were worse than useless. Now they’re useable. That’s it. Useable. They’re far from op.
Echelon is probably the best shotgun map in the game. I don't think they're a problem. They finally feel like shotguns. You likely would have had a similar game with an smg. We need to wait to see if the meta gravitates towards more shotgun players. If it does (doubt it will) then maybe they were made too strong. Time will tell.
I wouldn't say Shotguns are busted or OP, but they are in a better place they were in before. Shotguns still limit your mobility and do not provide bonus headshot damage.. if they were to reduce the spread debuffs from jumping, sliding and mantling and give them bonus headshot damage, they would be perfect.
@@CaffreyPlays I did read the patch notes, and there is nothing in there about increasing the mobility of shotguns, only their range. If you jump, mantle, or slide, your 1 shot KO will turn into a 3+ shot KO unless you are literally hugging them. That needs to be addressed still, they also do not deal additional damage when pellets hit the head, this also needs to be addressed. These changes do not make them OP/busted, these changes make them usable whereas before they were highly inconsistent.
@@RespectTheFlag--X dude the first thing listed is an increase to both short and medium range as well as tightening the spread. I know for a fact you didn't look at the patch notes

It depends on your attachments and target range, point blank - 5m hipfire will work, beyond that and i would begin to ADS. Personally I love the Pistol Grip, Chrome barrel and still deciding if I like the muzzle booster or range extender more, both are great choices.

Before the last patch was rare to see someone use a shotgun but now this class became a Cancer to the community!!! We have to deal with The OP Snipers but now with a close 'range' sniper too!! ( Here's comes the low/no skill gap players comment get gud/skill issue🤡🤦🏻♂️) Even after the video show it soo clear they are busted!!
I agree the shotguns needed some buffing, but I do believe they went a bit overboard with the range. I’m get smoked from midrange, one shot, done. When the range is like this in my opinion it lowers the skill gap too far. I get they wanted to be a more casual game but this is making it too easy to get a kill. Just my opinion it shouldn’t be that easy to pull the trigger once to get a kill
