ShotKam Sporting Clays, Beretta A400 Xtreme Plus First Shots. My New Go-To Set Up..??

The Beretta A400 a-400 is perhaps my new go-to shotgun for both sporting clays and hunting! This is a pleasure to shoot, very low recoil, swings great, middle weight and it fits me perfect.! I was using Winchester white box 1-1/8oz at 1200 fps and it ran them all perfectly! Not a single hang up, no issues at all. That's impressive to me, most shotguns need 500-750 rounds to brake-in. But this just ate them up and shot great! We got some great ShotKam footage so I hope you enjoy!
I'll be looking forward to getting some pattern testing done over the next couple months using different shot sizes, brands, chokes etc.. I suspect this will do very well, but we'll put it through the paces to verify it all.

Back in the late 90s I used to be on the crew that set up the clays courses. And I was a bartender there as well. And my Daughter got married there in the Hall. Great times.

I bought the shotkam with all of the adaptors and really helped. Have Installed it on many other members guns. My buddy Jeff was missing a lot, it showed he was twisting the stock inward. Starting hitting 22-24 in a couple of rounds. I offer to install it on any shot gun at the club and load it on my laptop and if they bring a memory stick will transfer so they can take it home to review it.

I’ve been waterfowl hunting with an a400 xtreme since 2012. This is by far the best semiautomatic shotgun I’ve ever had the pleasure of shooting. I used an a400 xcel for sporting and trap for about 8 years and it had well over 15k rounds through it with no issues. Gas guns are the best for reliable function and soft recoil. The only issue is when guys don’t clean them…. On top of that, I’ve had many Benelli shotguns that have sucked. I tried 3 different Benelli shotguns and everyone had issues. The sbe3 was the worst hands down and all of the google reviews show the issues are common.

Said my best friend shoots a a400 extreme and loves it and we hunt more than most in sum nasty shit in 4 different states ...my sbe3 and his a400 stay neck and neck but his needs cleaned twice as much as mine ...but that's what ya get with gas

Also I have the sbe 1 ..sbe2...and the sbe3 and the sbe3 is the best gun Benelli ever came out with and mine shoots lights out ...I've also had a a400 that I sold broke 2 extractors and lost sight pin lol..also have a Beretta 391 and the a300 outlander which are great guns...no Beretta I've ever had could touch my Benellis in reliability .....now with that all being

I was looking at the A400 all sport. I have a AL-2 barretta or should say had, a my oldest daughter like it so much its hers now.

Love my Beretta shotguns... I run an A400 Xcel and a 690 O/U. Also, a bit pricey (Black Friday deal was helpful), but that ShotKam was one of the best investments I've made to improve my score.

I really love the ShotKam, it's helped me improve knowing where I missed and how I need to look at the birds differently. Plus I get some great footage!

@@vaughnprecision xcel vs the xtreme plus ?? do you think with the xtreme plus with having a 3.5inch chamber, its not going to shoot as fast as a xcel due to longer bolt travel ??

Just so you know. They stopped shooting sporting clays at TSC. But you can come to Sumner sportsman club and shoot with us for the last course this October.

You look awfully familiar. Trying to figure out where I might have run into you in the Tacoma area. Anyway, been looking at that a400 extreme and the a400 xcel for sporting clays and trap. Can't make up my mind but this video might have me leaning toward the extreme.

My wife and her family is all in the Tacoma area, small world.! Get the Xtreme, you won’t regret it…. At least I guess I can say I love mine. To each their own however.!

@@vaughnprecision It is a small world. BTW, you can shoot Sporting Clays at Upper Nisqually Sportsmans Club as well. Don't have to be a member. They also have trap, 5 stand and skeet.

@@chaecoco2 I’ve shot a couple sporting clays events up there last summer. We also shoot Evergreen, JBLM, Sumner, Tacoma Sportsman and Granite. I really like Upper Nisqually, I’ve done some PRS up there to.

I don’t notice it when I’m out shooting. I’ve run as many as 200 rounds of 1-1/8oz shot and my cheeks were just fine. I’ve heard other people mentioning this but most the people who’ve shot this don’t have that complaint. Even the people who’ve borrowed my gun for a match.
