Miami Beach is not even close to Miami as far as the setting goes. Miami Beach is usually pretty peaceful but spring break brings a very low class of people, you know, street rats. For people who cry so much about getting respect, they never seem to give any.
The city of Miami itself is actually calm for the most part. It has a heavy cuban population that has a reserved and rather serious demeanor about them. Been there plenty of times in the Flagler area 👍 The sling-shot vehicles, booming sound systems, and beach tourists are not seen as much west of Downtown or Wynwood 😁 Enjoy the city and beaches responsibly and it will be better for everyone. Its simple.
