Good morning ☀️ Mr.Curtis hope all is good sir excellent review bud it’s really helpful to someone looking to buy either one of these mowers I’ve seen you mow many yards with your hydro and that hydro zooms through them yards both good mowers I noticed ones a bit slower then the other but as long as it gets the job done ✅ that’s all that matters anyway bud have a great day and thank you 🙏 for sharing 😀😀
Anybody that can do 10 yards a day has my respect. Go go go Mr Curtis. Lets have sumfun in the sun and bleed out on these yards :) When you love what you do, you'll never work a day in your life :)(:
Hello Mr. Curtis. New sub here👍👍👍. Grear comparison & a lot of useful info. for newer guys coming up. A 19 hp. on a 32 is mind blowing!! That's a lot of power for a 32👍. I think more of the guys need to feature Walkbehind mowers. I've talked to younger guys & some of them think walking mowers are for homeowners. I mowed 24 lawns weekly with a 32 Metro belt driven walk behind for 3 yrs.(no sulky, heel/toe express) & I finally got a stand on Vantage 2 yrs ago as I got older & the rain & wet belts on the Metro was killing me. 2 great mowers right there!! Hoping all is well, looking to catching up on more of your videos & Dirty Jersey out!! #broinlawns
I like belt driven machines because if you blow a hydro line, you got a lot of lawn to fix, especially if the hydraulic fluid gets on the lawns, it kills it. You gotta dig it all out. You gotta take out the soil and replant grass, that's why I like the belts they run good for me. I bought 2 Skaggs. They need tires. And A. Little cosmetic work, but I bought a 36 inch. And I bought a 48 inch. I paid a $1000 for both and I. Ended up putting maybe 500 into the 2 of them. So I got 2 machines for $1500 and they made me more than that.
Oh thank you Curtis for making this video !!!..I was the guy that asked the question the other week..lol...thanks again!..ii really love your videos and watch every one you make!!
I have a 36 snapper pro express belt-drive. It pulls me on a slider, can't complain about the cut. The controls are hard on the hands though. I would love a hydro. Keep kicking' butt, sir
Hydro for me. The levers are softer to maneuver. I had a belt drive before it's too hard for me to press the grips with my small hands. 🙂🇺🇸 stay cool it's hot out there.
I'm just starting out on a walk behind 48 just bought a 48" bobcat walk behind belt drive gonna use it this season and save up for a hydro walk behind and a zero turn
i thought you also bought a toro turfmaster 30'' ...i am thinking about getting back into residential lawn care... i am 61 now and got out of it 20 plus years ago... maybe 20-30 good accounts now would be nice... i like the 30''exmark with the 200cc kohler engine... its seems a good bang for the buck at around $2000... i also used to have a scag just like yours...
Hello Mr Curtis. It sure has been hot. What area are you located in? I use those little machines here in South Houston. I just got a 32" Wright Stander B a couple months ago but I really like those walkbehinds since they are so much cheaper😅.
I mean every body has there own different style on running hydro or belt drive I see some landscaping business that run 32 or 36 belt drive walk behinds bobcats or scag or exmark metros I work in landscaping we use 32 belt drives there’s nothing wrong with them I like ‘em.
No, I don't have anyone to mow for me to take time off doing the season. I will take some time off when the season end. This is a seasonal based business. You have to make all you can make in a good season. You have 6 months to do what you can do. Then take it easy.
Morning Sir, question I have for you when and if you have time to answer, which one of your two is easier to use? and did you work and replace your motor on the mower your self? I'm kinda mechanical inclined in some ways but to do a trainy or motor I don't know....LOL...dang it man! anyways sir thank you for your vid...I learned a lot...Peace to You and all of Yours Sir...Paul and Dede in Indy
Hello Paul, to answer your question. Both mowers are easier to use. The hydro mower is just faster. Yes, I replace the motor on Scag by myself. Nothing to doing these motor replacement job. It just takes a little time do job. Think about it if they can do it, you can do it. Never doubt your ability to do something in life.
Age has nothing to do with Hydro or Belt drive mower. Most Young guys want a Hydro Mower. They are not playing around on getting the work done. I see a lot of young guys with these Hydro mowers
@@WeedWhackerLawnCare fair enough i found the only thing i disliked about the belt drive was pulling it backwards uphill anything else it made not much difference.
You did not talk about the weight on the hydro they are very heavy. A belt drive is not near as heavy. On a wet yard the hydro will rut the grass the wheels will spin tearing up the grass . Don’t get me wrong I like the hydros . But I ran a belt drive gravely 1334 for 18 years . Never had any trouble and then the engine was done. Now for the wright I have a 32 hydro. For the firs 8 months I had so many problems with it. Electrical problems. The place I bought I from said they do no carry parts for it and would take 4 months. Keep in mind they did not even look at it. When I called wright they basically said good luck with that. So no customer support at all. During that time the girls drove 5 hours and bought 2 new gravelys and they have ran the hell out of them no problems. Ok now wright has a new design 32 hydro it does look nice maybe it will be a better mower.. and for the sulkys the sulky you have sucks. There is a lot better sulky. Everytime you want to back up you need to jump off the sulky. They make one where the wheels spin around and you do not need to get off the sulky.
