Should a person be allowed to take communion who has not been baptized? 

“These holy appointments are to be administered by those only who are qualified and thereunto called, according to the commission of Christ.” (1689 LBC, Chapter 28, Section 2)

I was baptized as an infant, God made it clear at 35 i wasn't saved. Been waiting almost a year for membership and baptism at my church. It feels wrong. I know I'm saved, the change in my life is undeniable. I dont want to rock the boat as I love this small church, but it feels wrong to me. It feels like I'm being disobedient. It's only a month till this is resolved either way but I wish i had spoken about this before. If anyone else is stuck like this please speak to your pastor and don't go with the flow like I did.

Where do you come up with the idea that the Ethiopian eunuch, or anyone else, was saved before being baptized. You are absolutely wrong on this. The account of this event in Acts chapter 8 never says this! In fact, you cannot be saved without washing away your sins first. Baptism puts you into christ (Gal. 3:27). 1st Peter 3:21 Baptism doth also now save us. Hearing the word (Romans 10:17), Believing in christ (Romans 10:10), Repentance (Luke 13:3), confess the name of christ (Romans 10:10), Be baptised (Mark 16:16, Luke 3:3 and others. These are the 5 necessary steps to salvation. None can be left out nor can the order be changed. Salvation (eternal life) is not granted before all 5 steps are completed. No place in the bible is anyone ever told they are saved prior to being baptized.
