Cursing is the language of demons. I served 30 years in the Army and cursed with the best. I stopped with the help of the Holy Spirit and reading and sharing the Word.
If you are a Christian and filled with the Holy Spirit and around a person who is Cursing, you feel in the Holy Spirit very uncomfortable or at least you should.
And for me as a single Christian who is still in waiting still a virgin I dont feel the need to know every marriage couple business intimacy in the bedroom that is private between the two. It makes me uncomfortable when discussed around me or to me

Doesn’t matter what his son is saying to him. He is supposed to be the parent, an adult. Even if your child is an adult, your not supposed to talk to them that way. Everyone knows that, and if they don’t know, they should. It’s true that we are not perfect, but it was still wrong.

I can testify to this, I remember asking God to take cursing from me and before I knew it I wasn’t cursing anymore. Man when I realized I didn’t curse anymore I was soooo happy I was screaming I didn’t curse, omg God really took it away it was amazing.
My dad was a creative master when it came to swearing, cursing, insults. Lots of ppl thought it was funny, I can't be around it. Never allowed my kids to use it around me & I respected them enough never to use cussing around them. Like smoking, lying, laughing at other people. Just home training, that's all.
Cursing for some I believe is a learned act to pacify unpleasant emotions.....it tends to give a sense of relief and power at those weak and intimidating moments. It is ugly and wrong, some even say its perverse behavior. I believe that's true and for those that struggle with that spirit, need deliverance from it.....it separates us from being in our purest most powerful form.

I fight everyday not to cuss. I'm from New York the South Bronx. Imagine my struggle but still no excuse for I must have higher standard in the body of Christ so please pray for me. The battle rages on and this warrior stands tall.
I'll tell you what 2 things helped me most! I have the Bible app on my phone so I would read scripture... but i also wore a rubber band on my wrist too.. and every time I would say a curse word I would pop it on my wrist, that way it would associate a negative feeling every time it came out of my mouth. hope this helps! I used to be a professional “cusser”. I actually went up for prayer for it one time when I got so convicted by the Holy Spirit, and was delivered. If you haven’t asked anyone to agree in prayer with you and pray over you, that’s my suggestion.
I feel my cursing spirit going away as I listen to this message. I don't curse hard but when I get mad, i may say something inappropriate. But you have convicted me pretty good, I'm done. As i release the foolishness i use to allow in my life, I have no one to curse at. But I pray God keep me calm.

I was cursing since I was in kindergarten. Then last year after I got baptized in the Holy Spirit it all went away. Praise God! We just have to make sure we stay out of the soul realm, our emotions will and mind doesn’t give over to the words from the pit of Hell.

The Lord took all curse words from me when I became saved. I didn’t even realize it until much later. It wasn’t something I asked for or prayed about! He just removed those kind of words from me. Now when I hear someone say something really egregious, it feels like a spiritual slap in the face. If the Holy Spirit lives inside of me, why would anything filthy come out of my mouth? I know cursing is wrong. Emotions get in the way when we speak and don't allow God to be in control. We are not perfect. Many of us had to be delivered from different things.

You are totally right. Correct!!! And if he is practicing this sin or if he struggles with cussing, God will deal with him like you said. He has already been exposed. Therefore, all we can do now is pray for him. But also try to get ourselves right, as well. Imagine if every thought, or word, and action that we have done that was contrary to God and his holiness was tattooed on our skin. For the whole entire world to see. And every time you did something wrong another tattoo would appear on your skin. This would suck. In fact, none of us would be recognizable. We would all be covered in tattoos. So although,what Kirk did was wrong. We all need to repent in some way. I need to repent. I struggle with lust. I’m 17 years old by the way. But the point is that we all have sinned. What comes out of the mouth is what is within... I use to have a sailors mouth bad... BUT when I truly turned my life over to God that changed... It wasnt even a change that I pushed for I just noticed that words and certain language stirred my spirit in a new way...I didnt feel the need to say them or hear them... It bothered me... Now I work hard on trying to teach my kiddos that... I look back and wished I had known then what I know now... But I just leave it to God to help me help my kiddos seek God the way I have now... A lot of people are doing the same thing his son did by sharing the video and talking about him.. This is out of order and not biblical . The Bible says if you have an issues with whomever , you go to them first .. I don’t see the point in sharing it or posting about it . The only person Kirk has to answer to is God.. I still smoke cigarettes as it's the hardest addiction to overcome. I try to not to use foul language on a regular like I use to but, I still say some horrible things when I get angry. So yes though I do make bad judgments at times I am doing the best I know how. I ask God for help all of the time as I really need Him, I need quite a bit of healing especially being demonically attacked and oppressed for 22 years.

It doesn't happen overnight but when we are "practicing" righteousness, as we continually journey with Christ, we are forgiven for the times that we do miss the mark and sin. So cursing is no different to lying, or adultery, or idol worship or any sin. No sin is okay but "if we say we have no sin, we deceive ourselves and the Truth is not in us" (1 John 1:8). This is the Word of God. There is a difference between practicing sin and practicing righteousness. We all are on different levels with god , ppl need to stop acting like they never went off before , the only difference is we are saved and when we act out of the flesh which we all are guilty of , the Holy Spirit will convict us and we repent and he helps us get it right, we striving everyday to be holy, we are not Jesus we not perfect only he was perfect, if we were perfect we wouldn’t need him. Exactly, it's really annoying to see people go so hard for this. I always say if we want to play the sin game we can attack each other all day. The reality as lot of Christians who are not wealthy gets jealous of those who are unconsciously and love when they can find a way to condemn them about something. However, no one wants to have that conversation.
That’s why we have to stay repenting everyday because sometimes we might not be aware of what’s deep down in us until the Holy Spirit shows us , that’s the Holy Spirit job is to change our hearts and show us ourselves so we can become more like Christ, the Holy Spirit helps us but we have to do our part and try our hardest every single day and second and he will do the rest for us and help build up the strength we need with him because we are weak without him we are not strong without him. As a Christian, I unfortunately curse like an absolute sailor, as much as I hate to admit it. I've been doing it for a very long time now, since my Junior High School Years; which were the worst years of my life. Trying to stop cursing is arguably more difficult than quitting smoking. ESPECIALLY when you're living under a high stress environment AND/OR have Anger Management Issues, such as myself. It's hard. It really is hard. But be that as it may, it's not something I'm proud of, nor do I try to justify saying that it's okay. It's a very very difficult habit to break. especially living in times like this.
Not judging or like telling you what to do but have you tried getting deliverance for that? I ask because I know there are certain things that need to be addressed after being born again, they are not just removed because you are saved. I cursed most of my life. Used the F word like a comma. I was a Christian for a couple of years and still cursed in private. I felt it was wrong, edited my speech around the “right” crowd, and it was something I didn’t like about myself. One day I was at a conference and one of the speakers said something about filthy language and I went up for prayer and was delivered. Seriously. Some people laugh when I say that, but it was truly a God encounter with conviction from the Holy Spirit and full repentance.
When I slip up n cuss it's immediately i feel convicted and normally when I'm upset. But I sure don't cuss the way i used too!! I done come an awful long way from that kind of toilet mouth talk. But I'm not judging Kirk I hope God is able to fix his family's brokenness. 🙏

I may be wrong but I believe the issue is when people feel it's okay to put a "curse" on someone as opposed to someone cussing. I say this because there are many languages, so if someone cusses you out in a foreign language, you won't know it anyway because you don't speak the language.
