A person can observe the Sabbath day, if they so choose; but he or she must keep in mind that it will not grant them to be any more saved or righteous before God, since jjustification and righteousness are imputed by faith in the finished work of Christ Jesus alone.

@@cameronstolhand7149 : Amen. In Jesus you rest from the Yoke of sin. From slavery to sin. Slaves labour hard, so He used "rest" to illustrate the freedom from sin. The one freed from slavery rests from his labor. We rest from carrying the debt of God's wrath. Those who carry the wrath of God have no rest from it. Everyday is a Sabbath day for the one who uses the rest of His days to serve Jesus. The one who profanes the Sabbath is the one who has not given the days of his life to Jesus. That's why Jesus is the Sabbath.
I think that generally speaking we should keep the sabbath but not in a strict sort of way. My general conclusion it that it was a way of God doing something nice for His chosen people, giving them a day off every week. The main point being that we should take a day off every week. The Lord knows we have our necessary vocation and are obliged to work to support ourselves and families, so the main thing is to take a day off every week, I think God had that as his intent in the matter. So while as Christians we’re not obliged to keep the sabbath it’s still a nice thing to do if we can.

Jesus was not Obligated to Keep The Sabbath? Psalm 40:6-8? John 15:10? JESUS DID NOT BREAK THE SABBATH, John 7:23-24. They Jews were exiled for breaking the Sabbath and after exile made additional laws that were not a part of the rules for keeping the Sabbath which are simple Isaiah 58:13-14. That included not taking care of the sick on Sabbath, the Sabbath was made to benefit man. Removing the burden from man, if it is an emergency, it is lawful to do good on Sabbath and save lives.

@2are1 : Why do you invoke the god Woden in relation to the Lord? "Wednesday" is "Woden's Day" named in his honour, whereas God in the Scriptures only calls it "Fourth Day" or "YOM HAMISHI." If you are going to be as audacious to reject the Sabbath of the LORD and make up your OWN replacement/alternative, at least it would be more respectful not to use the names of other gods. Yeshua did an everlasting work on the cross, but not so that people can mock His Sabbath day. He kept it on the 7th day every week of His life, and He is the perfect Example. Is that not good enough? Also: Romans 7:12 Wherefore the law is holy, and the commandment is holy, and just, and good. Romans 3:31 Do we then make void the law through faith? God FORBID: yea, we establish the law.

So much arguments about should we keep the sabbath....or not...God is not interested in us keeping the sabbath....however he is interested in us keeping his commandments....and that is the two that Jesus spoke about ....to love the lord your God with all your heart all your soul and your mind this is the first and great commandment....and the second is like unto it....to love your neighbor as yourself.....fulfill these two and you are in God's will

It says to me, Who do you worship? the God of creation and love who formed us, loved us and redeemed us. This is part of the first great commandment Jesus gave, to love God. What I see in Sunday is the worship of the god of man. It was made by man, it is propelled by men to show his strength over the word of God . It isn't founded on the Bible; nowhere is it told for men to keep. But men argue against the word of God and claim to argue with other men. I believe the Bible is God's word. HE chooses the day to keep Holy - not me, not you, nor any person. What God do you serve? God of creation or the god of humankind and this world? Romans 11:19 Thou wilt say then, The branches were broken off, that I might be grafted in.26 And so all Israel shall be saved". Note: the Bible teaches that Gentile Christians have been grafted into Israel and are no longer foreigners. They are now children of Israel and get to receive the inheritance. This also means that they are to keep the Sabbath as a Perpetual Covenant between God and the children of Israel forever (Exodus 31:17). Exodus 31:17 says "It is a sign between me and the children of Israel for ever" not until Jesus comes and I would think this should settle the dispute.

Very sorry to hear you preach this incorrect understanding of God’s word. It says in God’s word that when you become a believer in Yeshua (Jesus), you become a member of the commonwealth of ISRAEL, we’re are grafted in! And you’re also forgetting that after the 6 days of creation, on the 7th day he created the Shabbat, (sabbath), he sanctified it, he made it HOLY (set apart) for MANKIND! Jews are NOT mentioned, in fact the Israelites were NOT even created then, they were NOT established until much later in history! So, ALL believers in Christ must keep the true seventh day sabbath, NOT SUNDAY, that’s a Roman Catholic creation/law, that is NOT biblical!

They were born under the *Old* Covenant, we weren't. Jesus transitioned Israel into the coming *New* Covenant with His Sermon on the Mount. Where in the Law of Moses is it said you can separate any laws between ceremonial or moral law? James in 2:10 says you break one you break them all. So the law of Moses is not to be separated among the commands. Also are we supposed to stone people to death for violating the sabbath? That is also another law of Moses. Still I say you did a great job in analysis of the Sabbath command.
That is an excellent point. I would argue that the sacrificial law is still in effect and that's why we need Jesus to fulfill that part of it for us. I would also argue that the Civil part of the law cannot be enforced outside of Israel because we are under the civil law of the country we reside in.

The Pharisees did say Jesus broke the sabbath but they also accused him of eating without washing his hands.. what you seem to be missing is the extra laws added by Pharisees which was never stated by God Jesus was without Sin he followed all of Gods laws including sabbath
For Christians, honoring the sabbath (7) is saying no to the flesh (6), made possible by the work of the Jesus Christ on the cross who conquered the flesh (sin), foreshadowed in the mosaic law, and the very plan of God right from the beginning of creation when he rested on the 7th day. A Christian must rest from their works of the flesh and say yes to God --- daily.

Jesus quoted Deu 6:5 in Matt 22:37 "Thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy mind." Exo 20:8 says "Remember" the Sabbath to keep it holy, and the process of "Remembering something" is a function of the "Mind" being the "Memory component" of our minds, so "Remembering" the Sabbath, is part of loving God with your "Mind". Loving God with your soul means refraining from adultery, because "adultery destroys the soul [Prov 6:32]". So it seems to me as though one of the precepts of loving God directly is through "keeping the Sabbath," but I still remain unsure on it, I just do it anyway, because theres parts in the Bible where I remember it saying something like "If Israel or Judah had kept the Feast Days they would not have been handed over to immorality" I just cant remember where I read it, so that tells me that when you keep the feast days, God gives you the ability to avoid sin just by the act of keeping them, its like the key that unlocks the door to sanctification i.e. "Cause and Effect." And I barely ever have to fight with the spirit of fornication anymore ever since I started keeping the Sabbaths, its no coincidence for me. The first 4 commandments pertains to loving God directly, and the last 6 commandments pertains to loving our neighbors. The Sabbath is not Ceremonial, because you'll notice in Exodus that Moses gave the 10 Commandments to Israel before they arrived at Mount Sinai, it weren't until "after" the Israelites arrived at Mount Sinai that God instituted Ceremonial sacrifices and offerings, because Israel wasn't keeping the law after they "swore on an oath with God to keep it", so out of Mercy, God gave them ceremonial ordinances to cover their sins.

The chapter 15 of the book Acts of apostles of New Testament clearly establishes that gentiles(gentile Christians) are not required to keep the Jewish laws. It was established by the apostles and they boldly mentioned approval by Holy Spirit. What was mentioned at that council has been the guideline and anybody who preaches otherwise does so contradicting Holy Spirit.
When you say "I think" you have already lost the plot. Stick to Biblical Truth. Moral Law, Ceremonial Law? Biblical Truth? Not in the Bible....Simple..
I've had this question for a long time, and I even sacrificed my earlier position that the Sabbath is not mandatory, because some SDA preachers in my town kind of convinced me that it is mandatory to keep the Sabbath day. But your explanation settles the issue for me.
Gentile Christians are the children of Israel according to the Bible. Romans 11:19 Thou wilt say then, The branches were broken off, that I might be grafted in.26 And so all Israel shall be saved". Note: the Bible teaches that Gentile Christians have been grafted into Israel and are no longer foreigners. They are now children of Israel and get to receive the inheritance. This also means that they are to keep the Sabbath as a Perpetual Covenant between God and the children of Israel forever (Exodus 31:17). Exodus 31:17 says "It is a sign between me and the children of Israel for ever" not until Jesus comes and I would think this should settle the dispute.

My understanding is that we MUST keep the Sabbath. But, because of God’s new covenant of love for us, given to us by Jesus, we can break the word of the Law regarding the Sabbath, and yet, at the same time FULFIL the spirit of the Law (Jesus came to FULFIL the Law). For example, If we do some cooking or cleaning for someone who needs it, then we are breaking the word of the Law, but we are fulfilling the spirit of God’s new covenant of love for us through Jesus. If, however, we go out for a meal, go to a show or do anything that would make other people work unnecessarily for us, then we are taking away unnecessarily from them the time and rest and time devoted solely to God that God has blessed His greatest creation - us - with; and so we would then be breaking both the word of the Law and also the spirit of the Law. I think that we need to keep asking God for His Holy Spirit to fill us with His truth and discernment and for true faith, so that we know what is right in any situation. We also need to keep asking when we don’t have any dilemmas before us, because we never know when one is suddenly going to confront us.
I agree that we don't have to keep the Sabbath however it pains me that the modern Christian is so lazy that we've discarded the Sabbath completely. Taking a day off to worship God and read the word is always going to be a good thing. The modern Christian is rooted in very shallow soil.
@benjaminofperrin : Worshipping God is good of course, but "taking a day off", as you suggest, means that anyone can can ostensibly take off ANY day of THEIR CHOOSING, so how on earth can the Church meet for COMMUNAL WORSHIP ever in such a non-directed chaotic attitude, when following the COMMANDED SABBATH DAY on the 7th day makes this all so very easy! As always, man will do anything but obey God, for they always know better than His Word! 🙃 When I lived in Israel all families, work colleagues and congregations got the Sabbath off so it was pretty easy to get off work, see family, and to meet for the weekly communal worship of God. Why on earth should the resurrection disturb the simplicity of what God set in place?! 🤯 You say you "agree that we don't have to keep the Sabbath," but what is wrong with it?! 🤔 I think the attitude of many Christians view the Sabbath as far more LEGALISTIC than it is.
The examples you gave for the moral laws were: do not murder, steal or commit adultery, straight out of God's Ten Commandments which the Lord's 7th day Sabbath is a part of. In the New Testament the Gentiles who decided to live for God, kept the 7th day Sabbath Acts 13:42 and more verses. Isaiah 66:22-23 speaks of the new heaven and the new earth and we will keep the Lord's Sabbath there, why would God tell us to keep it in the Old and New Testament and then suddenly it is okay not to keep it now and then we will keep it in the new heaven and earth in future. Malachi 3:6 the Lord said He "change not", Corinthians says the Lord is not the author of confusion. Breaking the Sabbath is sin no matter what just like any of the other 10 Commandments. John was repeating what the Pharisees were saying. To believe Jesus had broken the Sabbath base on what the Pharisees said, you must also believe that He is not the Son of God base on the Pharisees as well. The Pharisees cared more about their money, possessions and animals than people so when Jesus was healing someone the Sabbath day they said He had broken the Sabbath and He told them that if their animal fell in a ditch on the Sabbath day they would take it out, why? because the animal is making them money and they cared about that more than people, that is why He kept on calling them hypocrites. That's how YOU would interpret it, the Bible interprets itself, "line upon line, percept upon percept, here a little and there a little" Isaiah. Love and blessings to all.
Yes, we are to obey the 4th commandment. It's reinforced in the new testament and not only given by example from Jesus who never sinned, but was given by example to follow by the apostles. Matthew 12:8, 12; 24:20; Mark 1:21; 2:27-28; 6:2; Luke 4:16, 31; 6:5; 23:56; Acts 13:14, 42, 44; 15:21; 16:13; 17:1-2; 18:4; Hebrews 4:4, 9-10 Colossians 2:16-17 gets thrown around a lot to suggest that the 4th commandment was abolished. However, Colossians 2 is not referring to the 4th commandment but it's referring to the annual sabbaths that came each year and fell on different days. See Leviticus 23:24,39. It is very important to separate God's Sabbath from the ceremonial sabbaths. For one, the 4th commandment is a part of the moral law of God which forbids the worship of other so-called gods. The 4th commandment which commands all mankind to remember it is a memorial of God's creative power and authority. It is the only one of the commandments that points out who the lawgiver is along with his name, title, and territory. The LORD, (that is his name), MADE, (that is his title/creator), heaven and earth and the sea (that is his territory). The Seventh Day Sabbath stands as a reminder of the fact that Christ is our sanctifier as spiritual Israelites (Ezekiel 20:20, 12). Keep also something very serious in mind, Sunday worship is a pagan worship day given by the Roman Catholic church who in the record of their catechism states that Sunday is their mark of authority and that they changed the day from the Seventh-day to the first day. The 4th commandment, therefore, separates the TRUE God, the maker of the heavens and the earth and the sea and all that in them is, from the so-called other gods that try to claim his position. About this thing that Jesus broke his father's law is without foundation (I say with respect and love). Jesus said; "I have kept my father's commandments" (John 15:10). Jesus was breaking the restrictions the Jews placed on the Sabbath that Jesus never placed on it to illustrate a point. And the point he was trying to make was that God's 4th commandment was made for man's spiritual needs. The Jews were putting burdens on the Sabbath making it about dos and don't, while Jesus plainly told them; "The Sabbath was made FOR man, NOT MAN FOR the Sabbath" (Mark 2:27). God's 4th commandment is never to be looked at through the lens of Judaism or as temporary. The very commandment is a stamp of the act of creation by God. As the rainbow is a sign by God to the world that he would never destroy the earth by water again, even so, the Seventh-day Sabbath is a sign of Christ's creative power and nature stands as a witness.
This is the clearest answer that could have been given and I stand in agreement with it.. @ithinkbiblically I absolutely love every teaching that I've seen you do over the last year and am in complete agreement with you brother on sooooo many topics and areas and context.. but this one area on the Sabbath I have to agree with my brother here on every point... The Sabbath day was given to us from God, when He blessed it and sanctified it, and then gave the commandment. The ten commandments are all the moral laws of God, not 9 of them.. and notice the key word the Lord used, "remember" He said the Lord rested the seventh day and so should we... In Hebrews 3 and 4 he said they entered not into the Lord rest (speaking of the seventh day in this wise) because of their unbelief and deceitfulness of sin... And also In Colossians 2 it said the handwriting of the ordinances of men.. the Sabbath was written by the finger of God as a moral law.. thus not the Sabbath refered to as my brother here was saying but the anual ceremonial Sabbaths.. I believed in what you said in this video all my life.. but over the last two years and much study and self examination I've come to the conclusion that we are to keep it as grafted in gentiles by faith.. faith without works is dead. Works and keeping the Sabbath doesn't save us.. Jesus Christ and His death and resurrection does and our belief in Him with our hearts.. but with that belief it builds are faith to have works that show fruit Christ is in us.. not to save us, but as a sign we are saved.. we keep them commandments by faith.. not 9... Before Jewish traditions.. and most of the time people confuse God and His moral law, which is all ten commandments, and the commandments of men written in ordinances.... The pharisees were focused on the traditions, Christ was focused on the moral law completed in love.. and we are to follow after Him and His commandments.. Keeping the Sabbath day Holy and remembering it is to say we believe in the true God of the word and that He created the heavens and the earth and all that is in it and rested on the seventh day... He blessed it, hallowed it, and sanctified it for us... The Sabbath was made for man, for our good . Not the other way around.. the pharisees always were about dos and donts on the Sabbath, Christ showed us it is good to do good on the Sabbath and redefined what works were... Just as he redefined murder being hate in the heart and lust as adultery in the heart... There is a veil in the reading of the old testament many have not come to.. but it's ok.. we all can help each other get to the truth if we truly open our hearts to the truth.. The world has taught us and made us accustomed to their ways and anything that contradicts westernized Christianity is considered legalist, pharisees, scribes, demonic, religious... When in reality it's the farthest thing from the truth... America has been lied to.. and we should read the word in it's entirety and like you said, not cherry pick scriptures.. read hebrews 3 and 4

The pointing was to remember the beginning, not to what was to come but a commandment to remember... Right in the middle of the ten commandments... He told us to remember because He knew the world was going to forget.. or change the teaching of doctrine.. and look at it now... In the ceremonial law there were sabbaths with small 's' holidays moons feasts etc the sanctified Sabbath had capital 'S' unless Jah is talking about it alone in another verse it is written with a small 's'. The Sabbath is Gods sign and verily He has His stump on it. The Sabbath is Devine and it's always in the Bible New and old. The is a sign between God and His People how can that sign be taken away for it is a gift to us. It was ment for man and not man for it. Bible verses dont take away the Sabbath it stands even until revelation. These are the ones who kept my Commandments. It's written I read it.
@solomonmugala7762 : There are no "capital" or "small" letters in Hebrew, just one script. The word "Sabbath" appears as "SHABBAT" throughout Scripture, which means "rest," (in plural "SHABBATOT" i.e. "Sabbaths" or "rest days." Some of them are WEEKLY REST DAYS and some are ANNUAL REST DAYS, such as Passover etc. They are all holy Sabbaths or REST DAYS, and do not need a capital or small letter to distinguish them, but we know which they are by context. Such as the "HIGH SABBATH" mentioned just before Yeshua was taken off the cross, which was the ANNUAL SABBATH or REST DAY for Passover on the First Day of Unleavened Bread which falls on 15th Nisan. Many Gentile scholars have taken this to be the WEEKLY SABBATH on "Saturday" so they assume "Friday" for the crucifixion, when in fact the Bible does not say "Friday," but only "Preparation Day," which can be before an ANNUAL or a WEEKLY SABBATH, and an annual Sabbath can fall on ANY day of the week (like X-mass), but always on the same date. This has caused the institutional Church after the first Jewish leadership died, to opt for a Friday - to - Sunday time - frame, when in fact we have the Biblical DATE, not "day of the week," when Yeshua died, and from there we count 3 days & 3 nights (72 hours), as He prophesied, to arrive at the true timing of the resurection, and it is not on the traditional "Sun"-day. 🤯 Yeshua rose at the end of the weekly Sabbath, JUST BEFORE the onset of "Sun"-day, making Him truly Lord of the Sabbath, and exposes the man-made Gentile calculations of Church clerics to be in error, as the first visitors to the tomb found it EMPTY on "Sun"-day in the dark, and no one saw Him rise. Count back 72 hours and He was crucified on Wednesday, not Friday, according to Scripture and Yeshua's own prophetic words, but not according to ecclesiastical tradition. Who do we heed, the words of Yeshua, or the man-made traditions of Gentile clerics? From "Good Friday" to "Easter Sunday" is only some 36 hours and has one FULL NIGHT MISSING! Does God make mistakes, or is Yeshua a liar? Even the Muslims laugh at this! Let him who has an ear listen. There is also no "ceremonial" in the original Hebrew text. 🙃
Well done Caleb. I was a baptised SDA for around 10 years but broke free from it about 30 years ago. I started going to their bible college in NSW in hope of becoming a pastor. Instead I found out the truth about why they really keep the Sabbath. If you’d like to find out why they are so vigilant on sabbath keeping, look up their doctrine of the “Investigative Judgement” by Ellen White. SDA’s were once Sunday worshippers before this doctrine was written. They really believe Sabbath worship is a matter of life and death and that all Sunday worshippers will receive the mark of the beast. Although it is true that Ellen G white is a false prophet I hope that you did not throw the baby out with the bathwater because they are right for keeping the Sabbath and God's food laws (the ones outlined in Leviticus 11 not Ellen G white's vegan suggestions). There are many pastors, preachers, teachers especially here in America are 99.9 % wrong on their teachings of Sabbath. God after his six days creation he rested on the seventh day(Sabbath) as well as the children of Israel. In the new testament many they said Christians are not commanded or required to observe Sabbath. Gentile Christians are the children of Israel according to the Bible. Romans 11:19 Thou wilt say then, The branches were broken off, that I might be grafted in.26 And so all Israel shall be saved". Note: the Bible teaches that Gentile Christians have been grafted into Israel and are no longer foreigners. They are now children of Israel and get to receive the inheritance. This also means that they are to keep the Sabbath as a Perpetual Covenant between God and the children of Israel forever (Exodus 31:17). Exodus 31:17 says "It is a sign between me and the children of Israel for ever" not until Jesus comes and I would think this should settle the dispute.

@@letterstotheelect182 If you re-examine chapter 2 of Mark You will see that Jesus did not break the fourth Commandment. The Pharisees had added to God's law making it impossible to follow. Jesus was breaking some grains with his hand and eating it. The equivalent of unwrapping a candy bar or unpeeling a banana or peeling Saran Wrap off your sandwich before you eat it. What kind of a farmer would consider this work. If Jesus had done this on a weekday do you think the farmer would have paid him for his labors? The Pharisees also rebuked Jesus for healing on the Sabbath. This is another man-made law. Nowhere in Exodus 20:8-11 does it say not to heal people and keep in mind we are reading translations not the original. A better translation would be do not do any normal work. If Jesus did break the Sabbath that God commanded then he is not God because God cannot sin. Why would Jesus also tell his disciples to go against God's law and pick grains in the field to eat them? He told them to pick and eat the grains because it was not against God's law. Jesus also refused to ceremonially wash his hands because again this was a man-made law not God's law. We know for a fact that the fourth Commandment keeping the Sabbath is God's law. Nowhere in scripture does God command us to wash our hands in a ceremonial way before eating. He was rebuking the Pharisees for adding to God's law and making it impossible to follow. If you read the law of Moses you will find that some laws relate to morality and others are ritualistic. This is a basic point of agreement between Christians.

When I read the Old Testament like a child especially the Torah part, I simply see that it is the Word of God and it has everything to do with Jesus Christ. I dont clasify them like you do. The Sabbath was given in Eden, it is spoken of in Genesis, IT WAS NOT GIVEN IN SINAI, the commandment begins with the word "REMEMBER THE SABBATH TO SANCTIFY IT" this indicates PERPETUITY, from before Sinai and before the Jews. LET'S NOT CONFUSE THE 10 COMMANDMENTS with civil, ceremonial and food laws. Only the ceremonial laws had their purpose in Christ, the other precepts remain in force today.
I don't understand why we even argue this. We don't argue that God is sovereign and deserves worship. We don't argue about images (except for Catholics). We don't argue any of the other commands. We may disregards them, but it is mostly agreed that all 10 are still in force. They were not done away with. Only the method of salvation was changed. The fact is, in my mind, we just don't want to keep it. It does start with the word 'remember', which sounds like it pre-existed. It's also one of the longest, detailed commands. Exodus 31 says its perpetual for the children of Israel which we are part of. A pattern exists in the bible for every seventh period as a rest, whether days, years or even millenniums. I believe we are the grafted in children of Abraham (and not a separate people - one bride only) and as such God's law in its entirety is also directed at us. Paul calls it God's Law in Romans. Pity we give it another name to add to the confusion. I go back to my initial comment - why are we so adverse to keeping the seventh day Sabbath? It's just weird. Something in us just rebels against it and justifies our rebellion. Whatever our argument is, we cannot deny that whatever Sabbath we claim to keep, we really don't keep it. Even if we think it's Sunday, we don't keep it holy. Our day of rest is getting shorter and shorter. Shops used to be shut. People didn't work. This is all history. Think about it. Are the Ten Commandments part of Mosaic Law? No. The *extra* laws *concerning* the Sabbath were not part of the Ten Commandments. Those other laws were only for the Israelites. Is the quote from Colossians a misuse of the text? I have not yet studied Koine Greek, but I have read that this refers to "Sabbaths" not "The Sabbath". Rest days are replete in Jewish ordinances. This is different from "The Sabbath". Any comments?

This preacher speaks nonsense. There is no "CEREMONIAL LAW" in the original Bible text. Many Bible "versions" ADD the word "ceremonial" of their own accord, but it is NOT in the Hebrew text, only the word TORAH, which gets rendered as "Law" but its root meaning is "TEACHING." You cannot get rid of God's Law as it is His TEACHING, and you cannot twist it in this way.

There is no such distinction between moral and ceremonial law in the bible. That idea was created by man not God. The Sabbath is forever not temporary: "Therefore the people of Israel shall keep the Sabbath, observing the Sabbath throughout their generations, as a covenant forever." Exodus 31:16 ESV Gentiles who want to join with God must keep the Sabbath and cling to the entire covenant: Isaiah 56:1-8 Yeshua taught that not even the least important laws will be relaxed (Matthew 5:17-20) All of God's covenants are eternal. New covenants do not change or replace ones that came before it: "I will not violate my covenant or alter the word that went forth from my lips" (Psalm 89:34) Yeshua and indeed every other author of the bible from Genesis to Revelation taught adherence to the Torah. According to Romans 11 yes there are Israelites today. Romans 11 explains how God grafted the Gentile Christians into Israel so if you consider yourself a Christian that means you have been grafted into Israel and get to receive The Promise. This also means that the laws given at Mount Sinai were for you. Remember that the New Covenant is only for the Israelites so if you are not an Israelite you will not receive the promise of the New Covenant and if you do receive the promise of the New Covenant then you will not have any problem keeping all the laws at Mount Sinai because not just will they be put in your mind they will be written on your heart.

I see only one law in the OT and not two (moral and ceremonial). As Christians we are not under the law which was given to Israel only but exclusively under the law of Christ Gal 6;2.
It sounds to me like you have not read the New Testament yet. Did you not know that Jesus is God? The laws given at Mount Sinai are Jesus's laws. This is why he was crucified because he claimed to be God. I strongly urge you to read Romans 11 that explains how the Gentile Christians have been grafted into Israel. One who causes an animal carrying a load to move from one place to another on Shabbat, whether by striking, pulling, or ordering it, transgressed the Torah law. The rule is in verse 14. But the reason is in verse 15. "Remember that you were a slave in the land of Egypt, and that the LORD your God brought you out of there with a mighty hand and an outstretched arm. That is why the LORD your God has commanded you to keep the Sabbath day" Here, it is taken from Israel's deliverance out of Egypt; because that was typical of our redemption by Jesus Christ, in remembrance of which the Christian sabbath was to be observed. We observe one day a week to gather and worship, but we do not refer to this as "the sabbath". Only catholics do that. There is no judgement or condemnation if you choose to honor the Lord one day a week. For me, I choose to do it everyday otherwise I would waste time striving throughout the week. Abraham did not follow the Torah. Now the promises were made to Abraham and his Seed. He does not say, “and to seeds,” meaning many, but “and to your Seed,” meaning one, who is Christ. Furthermore, there were many aspects of the Torah that Abraham and the other characters in Genesis did not keep. He was married to his half sister, which is forbidden in the Torah. Jacob married his two cousins, which is also forbidden in the Torah. In fact if the Torah was observed since Adam then the human race could never have got off the ground cause the only option Adam’s children had was to marry each other. According to the Torah, God could only be worshiped at the Tabernacle or the Temple, yet there was no tabernacle or temple for Abraham to worship at, and Abraham built altars all over the land of Canaan. Abraham did not and indeed could not keep the festival laws, like the feast of booths which was a celebration of the Exodus. He didn’t celebrate the Passover. He made covenant with the Canaanites, which was forbidden in the Torah, and he did not drive them out of the land of Israel. He did not wear phylacteries or write out the Torah as it is commanded in the Torah. He didn’t pay the temple tax. The idea that Abraham kept the Torah is ludicrous.
Furthermore, just because a particular law was followed prior to the Mosaic Covenant, that doesn’t automatically mean that we have to follow it. Take circumcision for example. Abraham was circumcised, but Christians do not need to undergo that process in the New Covenant. Abraham made animal sacrifices, but we no longer do that today.

Read Isaiah 66:23. You keep omitting this very passage of the scripture. Either you intentionally or untentionally omitting the word of God you are supposed to search the whole passages before you say it, preach it or teach it otherwise you will give an account whatever idle words such as failure to mention the word of God, rationalizing instead, saying Christian are not commanded to observe Sabbath. To do away with the 10 commandments including the Sabbath, is to ignore sin. Many Sabbath Keepers are strangers to God and are not saved; while other Sabbath keepers are children of God. Keeping a Sabbath does not guarantee you salvation. Observing the Sabbath CAN be just dead works. Many (millions upon millions) non-Sabbath keepers are saved and will come up in the 1st ressurection of the sons of God; while other non-Sabbath keepers will remain strangers to God...'I never knew you' Jesus will PERHAPS say. The patience of the saints: it is found in those who keep the commandments of God and who also have the faith of Jesus (and not the common faith of our day). Saints keep the Sabbath, and that begs the question what is a saint? Careful how you answer to included yourself with the saints...a clue: Job was a saint.

The Gentiles are "grafted in" to the rich spiritual commonwealth of Israel, but they are not Israel, spiritually as so many claim. 🙃 The Church is made up of both Jews AND Gentiles, and Paul warns for the branches not to boast as the "root" (Israel) supports you, and not the other way around. Gentiles forget that. God has still to deal with Israel in the end times when they will recognise Him. He cannot do that if the Church has replaced them! Even the pearly gates will have the names of the 12 Tribes of Israel on them, not the denominations of all the disagreeing Protestant churches! Shalom!

If every one of them were written down, I suppose that even the whole world would not have room for the books that would be written.” JN 21:25 John includes at least 8 explanatory and time sequence/chronology editing comments: 2:2, 3:24, 6:71, 7:39, 11:2, 12:16 & 33, 21:19. Why are there ZERO editing words included 50 years or more after JESUS left Earth (New Covenant era) regarding Sabbath cessation, abrogation, abolishing, obliteration, being a shadow, fulfilled by Christ, not valid for gentiles.. in any of the sabbath verses of JOHN's sabbath accounts in JOHN's chapters 5,7 and 9 ???? If it was a big deal enough for JOHN to include 3 sabbath encounters in his gospel account, wouldn't it be obvious that he would mention about the disciples/church trashing it and replacing it with a SUNday/Lord's Day observance???? This argument does not get presented or answered in SABBATH/SUNday-Lord's Day debates. Was JOHN a clueless, crazy, stupid idiot??
You have a point, but SDA's and Ellen G. White's writings tell people to keep the sabbath for salvation. Jesus broke the sanbath several times so this was one of the things the people at that time decided to kill Jesus for.
@dwightwilliams311 : Yeshua didn't break the Sabbath, as you suggest, or else He would have been a SINNER by BREAKING GOD'S LAW! Rather He demonstrated on HOW to keep the Sabbath properly and in the right attitude before God, saying it was "MADE FOR MAN" (not Jews), and that it was "LAWFUL" to do good ON THE SABBATH! A far cry from the Church's teaching today. The SDA's may be wrong in many areas (just as the denominational churches are), but ALL DELIBERATE SIN separates us from God, such as living an adulterous life etc., and the same is with living a "Christian" life yet breaking God's Sabbath law EVERY WEEK OF YOUR LIFE!! 🤯 Sabbath-keepers act in the example of Yeshua, viewing the Sabbath as God's loving provision "for man" (not only Jews) to have a day off work every 7th day along with your friends, family, staff, animals, and any guests under your roof, to ensure no one works while you are off! It is the denominational Gentile "Christians" who make the Sabbath LEGALISTIC by charging Sabbath-keepers with all kinds of hypothetical situations, when it is just simply a DAY OFF!! So, you are right, it was religious hypocrites who wanted to kill Yeshua, and there are still plenty of them around wanting to try to catch Sabbath-keepers out by their clever, but wrong, debates.
The whole first testament was a covenant between God and the Jewish people, and *all* its commandments and doctrines don't apply to non Jews (how were the Aborigines of Australia ever supposed to be aware of the first testament laws for example)!

King James: “The heart is deceitful above all things, And desperately wicked; Who can know it?" Why do Christians keep claiming that morality and knowledge of God is written on our hearts when your very own bibles portray the heart as twisted and corrupt! Is this a bible contradiction?
