It is common knowledge that the ancient Jews considered that any part of a day constituted a whole day when using a phrase like Jesus did reoeatedly "in 3 days I will rise". Jesus died about 3 in the afternoon on Friday, was in the grave all day Saturday, and rose in the morning on Sunday. In the Jewish reckoning, this was "3 days". It is foolish and ignorant in the extreme to employ your argument. This is a matter of change of Covenant and what the Apostles taught and practiced, as the Gospel was committed to them, not to you or I. Paul was far more an expert on this subject than anyone alive today, and he clearly refutes this Sabbath continuation idea, ss well as the practice of all Jewish ceremonial laws and customs. Jesus is the end of the Law for all who believes in Him. It is not helpful to use the Law for any purpose than to reveal sin to the lost and unrefenerate. It is a schoolmaster to lead one to Christ. Isaiah 66:23 and Isaiah 65:17 actually speaking in metaphoric terms about Christians in the church after the cross and before resurrection. Both passages speak of a new heavens and a new earth that represent the church. The new heavens and earth of Isaiah 65 & 66 are different from the New heavens and New earth spoken of in the New Testament. Sabbatarians see the expression "New heavens and new earth" Isaiah 65:17; 66:22 and assume it is post resurrection heaven. This is your primary error, and we can prove it!

It's God's word against man's word and interpretation

The question is who made sense. God is the God of the universe. His day and night is not confined to the sun light and shadow of the earth which causes our day and night. You go to the moon. Your day and night will no longer be 24 hours. But then wherever you are, you are supposed to observe Sabbath from sunset to sunset. For a start, if you are in US, you go to Norway and try to observe the Sabbath there especially from the month of April till August. Have a great time resting there by observing the Sabbath. By the time you return, your business will no longer remain the same due to non operation for months.

The Apostles used the Sabbath to go to meetings of unsaved Jews and share the gospel, risking life and limb. Do you keep the Sabbath as the Apostles did? Or do you just rest up?

It's true about Saturday Sabbath I have been spoken to from Father Jehovah in 2014 when I was chained to alcohol and had a demon haunting me! Father warned me that morning after the Holy Spirit revealed my sins to me that I am judgemental a liar and a hypocrite I was surprised because I thought I overcame all that and was just a drunk. But Father told me I must humble myself and then said If I obey no harm would come to me People were trying to kill me and people were getting murdered around me and even my newlywed husband after only 2 months of marriage! He wouldn't surr to God. But after I started practicing Sabbath in 2015 because I felt convicted, I started staying out later and later around 2019. I had a bad feeling something bad was going to happen because I forgot Father is slow to anger. But sure enough, stay out getting rent money order and shopping past dark, me and my 14 lb puppy was attacked on the bus coming back from Walmart! This dog was around 200 lbs! His face was as big as Sammys whole body! I went into shock and couldn't look back while the dog had Sammy. I just kept on pulling on his leash. And it seemed like forever but that monster just let go! And I took Sammy and put him on the seat and hovered over him! The dog started biting my arm but I thought it was strange I didn't feel any pain! Even in shock I knew I would feel something horrific! But nothing! I leaped with Sammy underneath me to the front by the bus driver and you know as I was screaming hysterically I only saw a little blood! It was mine and out of that whole ordeal Sammy only had 2 small bites to his right paw opposite of the attack and I only had 2 small bites that didn't need stitches! So you know what the chances of that are? 0 Sammy should have been ripped apart DEAD! I should have been ripped up as well with a dog that size! I saw a demon in the dogs eyes when he came after Sammy. But Father didn't punish me that night, He saved me with the angels. I wasn't sure even still because my faith was pathetic for a long time, but we had 2 more attacks after that exactly 2 months from the first one and this time i was walking too far from home and couldn't understand what i did wrong, and Holy Spirit let me know and thr last attack nothing happened at all because I was only going around the block. So I know absolutely that for those who don't obey the Sabbath but believe they love God, They are not Born again in the Spirit! If we are Born again and sin against God we will either be attacked by the devil or Father will chastise us somehow. We cannot serve 2 masters and when we sin we give authority to the devil! Please teach everyone how important God's holy Sabbath is because if it wasn't important He would have never made it a 10th commandment!!

In Hebrews 4 the author addresses the issue of the Jewish day of rest, the sabbath. Therefore there is a Sabbath-rest for the people of God. For anyone who enters into His rest must also cease (rest) from their own works, as God did.” This is why Jesus said in Mark 2: 27 and 28: “The Sabbath was made for man, not man for the Sabbath. Therefore the Son of Man is also Lord of the Sabbath.” Jesus here made the case that HE is the Sabbath-rest long predicted with each day off every Jewish person took through the centuries. HE is the Sabbath-rest who was made for man because that Sabbath day off was made for man - and so was He. With each bull and goat and sheep and bird offered as a blood sacrifice it spoke to a time where a final sacrifice would be made to bring a rest between God and human kind once and for all. Jesus is that rest. Jesus brought that Sabbath-rest. But to enter into His rest, you have to cease from your own works. You have to accept the grace. And once accepted, you can’t go back to working formulas to find peace with God the Father. Once you have Jesus, as Paul stated in Romans 8: 32, you have all things. My dad is a Sunday keeping pastor. He's been a minister over 50 years. The Holy Spirit began drawing me to keep the Sabbath two years ago. My husband and I now love the blessing of the Sabbath! All my life, I've been a Sunday worshipper, debating about whether or not to keep sabbath is actually of no importance the last time I checked. @nat turner Yeshua for sure! But when He said that did He mean that it was no longer valid? Wasn’t He the Lord of the Sabbath from the very beginning when He instituted it in the garden? Does being lord over something mean it’s no longer valid? He is also lord over the rest of the Ten Commandments. Does that mean He doesn’t expect us to keep them too? The context of him saying that was the Pharisees were misinterpreting the application of the sabbath and they had changed the original meaning from when he wrote it. Yeshua is saying that HE wrote it and HE is the master of it, not them. If He came to change the day of the sabbath then He cannot be the Messiah because He also said in Mt. 5:17-21 that “not one jot or tittle would pass from the law until heaven and earth pass away.” If the number 4 commandment is now passed away then his statement in Mt. 5 is untrue. They were not keeping it like the Pharisees that were riddled with traditions. The gnostic jews were stuck in tradition and killing the simple meaning behind many of the commandments. Your not very clear about it. God rested from the 6 days of creation "work" on the 7th day. I don't see where the Bible says He rested or made Holy EVERY seventh day until he gave the commandments to Moses for the Children of Israel. I also do not find anywhere in the Bible that He gave those commandments (including Sabbath) to anyone EXCEPT those who were there with Moses and had been led out of slavery.

Not that keeping the Sabbath grants us salvation. That is only achieved by accepting the saving grace thru faith that is Jesus Christ. Not by his works, but by sacrifice for without sacrifice there is NO forgiveness of sin. Therefore once we accept Jesus we are covered by His righteousness bc Jesus is the door into the sanctuary and it is He that is our advocate to God. Then we have sacrifice, we sacrifice our old self and bc we have confessed our sins over the Lamb of God that died once that all MIGHT be saved;(You first have to accept. Otherwise there is no coverage of grace) you are forgiven. Afterwards is the lavor the cleansing the justification. Then we walk in the doctrine of Christ seeking always to be sanctified by obedience to His law bc it is a law of liberty sets us free from sin and once we obtain that thru our walk with Jesus who is the holy we are cleansed and sanctified blood and sacrificed and once we are sanctified whether we live or die on this earth we will be allowed into the most holy the inner sanctuary that is in the presence of God. You should honor the Sabbath by doing what Paul and the Apostles did on the Sabbath. They are a great example.

Here is what Paul did on the Sabbath: Acts 17 Now when they had traveled through Amphipolis and Apollonia, they came to Thessalonica, where there was a synagogue of the Jews. 2 And according to Paul’s custom, he visited them, and for three Sabbaths reasoned with them from the Scriptures, explaining and giving evidence that the Christ had to suffer and rise from the dead, and saying, “This Jesus whom I am proclaiming to you is the Christ.” 4 And some of them were persuaded and joined Paul and Silas, along with a large number of the God-fearing Greeks and a significant number of the leading women. Is this what you do on the Sabbath? Do you go to the lost and share the Good News? Now that would be something to boast about.

All of the commandments point to loving God and our neighbor. Loving God is to rest when God rests to both remember and honor His creation. It is not grievous (difficult). It is done with joy! 🙏

Jesus in Mark 2:27 said, we are not made for Sabbath that we should become the subject of the Sabbath like how the Pharisees regarded it. But now with the coming and dying and resurrection and glorification of Jesus Christ who is the Lord of the Sabbath, He turned our worship into a heart based worship in truth and in spirit and not a place or day based worship like Sabbath or Sunday (John 4:21-24). You're right, the Bible is clear on the Torah as well as the sabbath, the Torah met its fulfillment in Christ, we have nothing to do with it, in John 3:16 it's even more clearer, salvation belongs to believers, it doesn't not say, all sabbath keepers will have eternal life, it rather says, whoever believes in Jesus.

The same with the sabbath it was a perpetual in a sense that it lasted for a long time until Christ appeared. But here is the name of this book that has all 613 commandments and where they are found in the Bible or Torah and there is a commentary on every one of them. The Book is called BIBLICAL LITERACY By Rabbi Joseph Telushkin. I strongly recommend this book. I am for certain it can be gotten from Amazon. You asked what is the 24th commandment in Torah. It is found in Exodus 16:29.
