The true Sabbath is Saturday. Emperor Constantine is the one who decreed Sunday as a day of rest which is therefore a decree made by man. One of the commandments is to observe the Sabbath and keep it holy. Personally, I believe that most of us have failed in keeping this commandment be it through genuine cluelessness or wilful disregard. And I have been a believer since I was 9 years old and only recently came across a Video explaining this in great depth.

Constantine was the one who changed it, trying to incorporate sun worshipping (done on Sundays), pagan culture into Christianity. And that's the sun disk depicted in Catholic art. This question has been debated for years. Since the word "permanent" was used, & the 7th day IS Saturday, (the day of rest), for more time with God, I'm sticking to Saturday. AND, if we're descendants of Abraham, then we all have a Jewish ancestry (spiritually speaking). I think that as long as there's a day in the week dedicated to God, then God is happy. I know someone who told me I was going to hell because of not following the 4th Commandment about the Sabbath by going to Church on Sunday and not Saturday. whoever told you "you are going to hell for keeping is Sunday" is 100% wrong .... However , that does not negate the fact that Saturday is God's Holy Day for all humanity and is a sign we acknowledge HIM as our Creator ..... You can go to church any time you like , you can worship , sing , study the Bible , congregate with fellow Christians any time you like , the Commandment says "rest from labors" and other passages say "refrain from your own worldly pleasures" on the Sabbath .... @Mike I hear ya. IMO, this is like the "flat earth/round earth" issue. When at the end of the day, God knows our heart. I'm old school, I guess you can call me a "traditionalist". I'm a SATURDAY, because it was the original. Although I try to live as godly as I can, I always remind myself that God knows my heart & my level of understand of things. We MUST NOT condemn those who prefer Sunday, for they have their own levels of understanding. I am a Pentecostal Cristain got saved 2006 and had 3 pastor in my walk with the Lord. the one that baptized me 2006 ny pastor Pedro olivie 3 years I moved so had my 2 pastor ny Thomas for 11 years and my Pastor now Pastor Eriberto Bonilla all man of God all full of the Holy Spirit and all though the same we get together on Sunday
Whilst we are busy arguing about such a straightforward matter the devil is getting excited as he knows that some people will take it personal ending up angry. In the meantime the trumpet will sound and they won't hear it resulting in getting the real mark of the beast during tribulation time. I've been going through some tough days, learning about the Prosperity, New Reformation, Word of Faith movements really took me down for a bit, then I realized: "What am I doing to myself?" At the end of the day, God knows me. Imperfections & all. And I have to keep reminding myself that God does not expect us to be perfect, just in the process. Then, all is well again, for me. hello Evangelist Tiff, i have a lot of respect to you and your teachings, i am still not sure about this topic: look at this scripture below: in Iasiah 56: 6-7 "And foreigners who bind themselves to the Lord to minister to him, to love the name of the Lord, and to be his servants, all who keep the Sabbath without desecrating it and who hold fast to my covenant-7 these I will bring to my holy mountain and give them joy in my house of prayer. Their burnt offerings and sacrifices will be accepted on my altar; for my house will be called a house of prayer for all nations". He is talking about foreigners keeping the Sabbath, that God will be pleased with them...so does that not mean Sabbath is not only for jews but also for foreigners ? appreciate your thoughts
Isaiah56:6-7 talks about the foreigners who joined the lsraelites from Egypt during the Exodus( Exodus 12:38,43-49 and also it includes the foreigners who went to live in the promised Land with them. The "FOREIGNERS", as mentioned in the Isaiah 56:6-7, does not imply the Gentiles outside the Promised Land. Therefore, the sabbath and its regulations does not apply to the non-Jews.

If we disobey the commands of God....then Jesus died in vain. Honoring the Sabbath is a command of God. Did Jesus die for our sins...so we could continue in sin? God made the seventh day holy and He commanded that we KEEP IT HOLY He never made any other day holy...never..not even the lo4ds day..sunday..so.. why the confusion????
Sir, you have stated at the beginning of Constantine as the one who changed this observance... Does it mean the New covenant began with him? Dan 7:25 points at this deception. The Sabbath of Gen. 2:1-3 isn't Traditional since there wasn't any race then apart from Adam & Eve at creation. So Gen 20:8-11 begins with "REMEMBER " reminding them of CREATION & HIM AS CREATOR who let everything/everyone into being... Reason why the day you have identified correctly as the Sabbath/7th day was BLESSED, SANCTIFIED, SET APART. for worship, for reverence. It's MEMORIAL FROM GENERATION to GENERATION.
So those who observe the law by worshipping on Saturday (Sabbath), are they breaking other laws, such as igniting a flame when they turn on the engine of their vehicle?

Tiff just out of curiosity and clarity seventh day Keepers have taught that The keeping of Sabbath and of Sunday Will be the difference between taking the Mark of the beast Or the mark of Christ they attribute Sunday worship through the book of revelation three angels message as being the mark in the end days that people take when it comes to the Sunday law which will be handed down by the antichrist and the false prophets during tribulation not sure if you are familiar with this I have been doing a two to three-year study on this very subject The way seventh day keepers explain it is that no where in the Bible is it taught as you have said that Sunday is the correct day of observance I understand that Saturday is a Jewish keeping and the word says to esteem no day above another it is confusing to me because I have been back-and-forth on the subject of what the true mark of the beast will be because the word says everyone small and great rich and poor Will receive a mark in their foreheads or in their hand and the distinction there is in /on to be in the four head is explained to have knowledge of the difference between the Sabbath or Sunday and on which day you follow as the day of worship Sunday being handed down by the false prophet which they think is the Catholic Church and I have seen plenty of evidence of what they were talking about As far as how corrupt the Catholic Church is that being said I believe there is a lot of corruption in all churches denominations so on so forth I guess my question would be if we as Christians will or will not be here during the tribulation I have been doing study on this also for the last few years and can't seem to get it in my head that we will be rapture before the tribulation and what would make us so special that we would be rapture as a church because there has been such tribulation on Christians throughout history examples the inquisition Salem witch burnings the Muslims beheading Christians in the Middle East for centuries this has been going on and why would be we be any different ?
They have severely misinterpreted the scriptures. How anyone can read what Paul wrote in Romans 14 concerning “no day is more holy than another…” and not understand is hard for me to grasp.
Shabbat is from Friday evening until Saturday evening. Jesus observed that 24 hour period as the Sabbath. Shouldn't that be the Christian's Sabbath day as well since Jesus is a Jew? 🤔
I'ld rather obey God than man, & be under His blessings. Isaiah 58: 13,14. See also Isaiah 66: 22,23. As the new heavens & the new earth, which God will make, it says that ALL flesh shall come to worship before Me, from one Sabbath to another. Yes, we must study the Word everyday, but it is clear that 6 days God says you shall work, & on the 7th day you shall rest from your daily work, & come together to worship Me.
