I completely agree with Sal. It would be amazing if The Batman were the beginning of a new DC Universe. The setup is PERFECT, and it would be amazing to see a newer Batman like Pattinson grow in a slowly expanding and fresh DC universe
IDK, I'd rather it start with low key mystery men. Masked crime fighters with a single gimmick that gives them an edge over street crime. Escalation leads to rumors of this weirdo in Gotham who they later find can outfight the fighters and outthink the thinkers. Basically an impossible person. And then a man is filmed picking up a car in Metropolis.

I'm with Sal. As likable as the current actors are, the easier way to go, and the clearest way to communicate a reboot is to just recast all the characters and start with a completely new universe, and let everyone's contracts expire or buy them out or whatever you have to do for the old universe.

At the very least, they are acknowledging that the DCEU in its current state, and over the past several years, has been divisive and underwhelming both critically and at the box office with the announcement that they are coming up with a new ten-year plan and looking for people to spearhead it. It's not exactly fair to these actors, but direction and story has failed the DCEU and its cast, much like how the Amazing Spider-Man movies were handled failed the cast of those movies (I mean, there's a bit more involved because of the 2014 Sony hack and all, but the movies are just overly ambitious and all over the place narratively.). It's about making things clear to the greatest common denominator; general audiences. There are still people in this world that think Marvel and DC characters live in the same universe. There are people that think that every Marvel movie is part of the MCU, and Sony loves that. There are at least 3 universes of DC movie franchises in development. Joker and its sequel, The Batman and maybe that Penguin show if it still happens and whatever sequels come out, and then the DCEU, and I'm sure there's plenty of people out there that think it's all happening in the same universe simply because of the name recognition and that its something DC, and it doesn't help that DC themselves have also just kind of said, let whatever you want to be canon be canon, even the people making these movies can't seem to agree on what is and isn't canon with the DCEU. Jason Momoa is adamant that the Snydercut is the definitive version of the Justice League movie that happens for the Aquaman movies, Suicide Squad's sequel is literally a reboot and just called The Suicide Squad where that first movie didn't happen, but something like must have, too. Wonder Woman has been in hiding for 100 years, but also had a stint in the 80s and was never actually hiding anyway all those years. The Shazam area of the universe seems to be the least complicated because it hasn't gotten involved too heavily yet, most connections are purely aesthetical with objects that could be retconned as just being knockoffs, which is the saving grace so far, we'll see what Black Adam and Fury of the Gods do. Even so, the people in charge are going to do what they're going to do. The DC movies seem to be a bit more name focused on who they can get for their movies (DCEU or not), which in these days, are not what gets people to go to the theater. Actors don't have the same enticing draw to the theater they once did because ever since the 2000s with the shift to more franchise focused films that started coming out more frequently (Star Wars Prequels, X-Men, Spider-Man, Lord of the Rings, Pirates of the Carribean, Hunger Games, the MCU (I won't lie, some of them did use some name chache of the new hotness to get started, but the more they went on, the less big names mattered)), people were not going to theaters for who was in the movie, but for what the preestablished brand was and the characters in the story, and hopefully that story was good. However, now the actors playing those characters have slowly become the faces for them, and the best way to make the distinction that these are not the same characters from before is to do a recast and that is more successful when the rest of the universe also looks and acts differently from the previous incarnation, as has been proven most successfully with superhero films, particularly Batman and Spider-Man, regardless of the quality of the individual films. Unless there is something in an actor's contract that says they will be producers that will make a certain number of movies for Warner as the characters they play and not simply contracts that say when Warner calls for a character, that actor arrives to play said character for up to a predetermined number of films, then the studio could just not ask them to come back, it doesn't matter how big the name. It's literally as simple as that. About the only people that care about name cache anymore are the executive producers at the very top. Besides, there's still plenty of other big names out there if they still plan on using that same strategy if they decide to dump the current cast of the DCEU.
Bruh they literally cancelled movies that were basically finished. The new WB is cleaning up shop. Plus Black Adam is a far from essential character to the DC universe unlike, say, Superman, Batman, Wonder Woman, or the Flash.

If they reboot the DC movie universe, I’d want the first interaction between Superman and Batman to have them shake hands and have a pleasant talk about how they’re going to work together. It would really set the tone for this universe and it needs to be done to show people how those characters actually act together. They’re best friends partly because they share the same values and beliefs(for the most part)

Please don't do evil superman. It's the easiest thing to do and is the most boring concept. I want a superman who IS superman. I liked Henry Cavill as superman, but not Zack Snyder s interpretation of superman. He's got to be the person who everyone else strives to be. The definition of a superhero. Separately, during the various movies, you can introduce supporting cast with sidekicks so that you can tell those stories.
I think Throne of Atlantis would have been a good first Justice League movie. Gives you an army for them to fight and it adds a personal connection to the team with Aquamam have to confront his destiny as king of Atlantis

You can just make that an aquaman movie featuring the league in the third act when king Orm starts the invasion on the surface world. If anything should've been a TV show, it should've been Shazam. The concept is a child getting superpowers and becoming an adult, and child actors grow up fast.
Why not just scrap the flashpoint movie entirely? No one really asked for flashpoint movie you could just start working on the establishment of your core members of JL and cast them with solo movies then JL movies then build up to darkseid or whoever big bad DC Thanos villain for 10 years. It's not that hard. Also yes to Jason being lobo and I would just recast the Trinity and decide whether or not if I'm not gonna make the Batman movie part of the new dc cinematic universe.
Adapt DC: The New Frontier and streamline it like the great animated movie. You would introduce Hal Jordan and Martian Manhunter in the movie. It can even be modern day while referencing the John Henry story which is still relevant.
Here's how I would do the DCEU reboot: 1) The Batman 2 Fancast: Batman (Robet Pattison), Robin/Dick Grayson (Jaeden Martell), Mad Hatter (Aidan Gillen) Ventriloquist & Scarface (Toby Jones) Plot: It would be noir detective story in the same way the previous film. The plot would have Batman investigating the murders of street girls, all victims of mysterious Mad Hatter (I would do a "Jack the ripper" take on Jarvis). Meanwhile there would be a sub plot involving Bruce adopting Dick Grayson and helping the kid find the criminals who caused the death of his parents . 2) Superman For Better Tomorrow Fancast: Superman (David Corenswet); Lois Lane (Natalia Dyer); Jimmy Olsen (Noah Schnapp); Parasite (Doug Jones); Lex Luthor (Billy Zane) Plot: A traditonal super hero film. Taking inspiration from "Geoff Johns Secret Origins", the plot would be about Superman first days in Metropolis, showing the begining of his romance with Lois and he dealing with the pressure of being the city’s hero. The villains would be Parasite (he would be more sympathetic villain, who Superman would try to cure from his mutation) and Lex Luthor (who would act as contrast to Superman, wanting to kill Parasite so he can become "Metropolis savior"). 3) Flash Fastest Man Alive Fancast : Flash (Lucas Till); Iris West (Lily James); Jay Garrick (John Wesley Shipp) Gorilla Grodd (Keith David) Plot: A “Sam Raimi Spider man” style super hero film. Barry Allen would be come the Flash and team up with Jay Garrick, a speedster from Earth 2, to save Central City from Gorilla Grodd. 4) Zatanna Fancast: Zatanna (Ana de Armas); Jeff Sloane (Arthur Darvill) Felix Faust (Robert Englund); Zatara (Colm Feore) Plot: A mix of “Indiana Jones Last crusade” and Harry Potter. Zatanna and her agent Jeff Sloane would go on quest to find her father, who was kidnap by the sorcerer Felix Faust, who wants to find three mystical artifacts (the Jar, bell and wheel) he can pay his debt with the demons Abnegazar , Rath nd Ghast (basically Fausts would be the Dr Facilier of the DC universe) 5) Superman & Batman World’s Finest Fancast: Superman (David Corenswet); Batman (Robet Pattison); Robin/Dick Grayson (Jaeden Martell); Lex Luthor (Billy Zane); Black Mask (Jon Hamm); Metallo (Ben Barnes) Plot: A buddy cop style movie. Superman would go to Gotham and teams up with Batman and Robin to stop a gang war between Penguin and Black Mask (who is reciving weapons from Lex Luthor). At first Superman and Batman wouldn’t get along, however it’s their bond with Dick Grayson that inspires them to work together 6) Wonder Woman the Journey’s begin Fancast: Wonder Woman (Daisy Ridley); Silver Swan (Tilda Swinton); Ares (Nikolaj Coster Waldau) Plot: A epic sword fantasy adventure, with Diana arriving at Man’s World and, with the help her friends (agent Steve Trevor and the archeologist Julia Kapatelis), growing from a naive stubborn warrior, with very strong feminist views of the world, to more compassionate hero, who sees the good in Man’s World. The villains would be Silver Swan and Ares (who would be Diana recurring villain in the trilogy). 7) Green Lantern In Brightest Day... Fancast: Hal Jordan (Alden Ehrenreich); Carol Ferris (Charlotte Hope); Sinestro (Luke Evans); Killowog (Kevin Michael Richardson); Arisia (Chloë Grace Moretz); Ganthet (Michael Gambon); Sayd (Maggie Smith); Scar (Gleen Close); Krona (Hugo Weaving); John Stewart (Mustafa Shakir) Plot: A space adventure film Hal Jordan is recruited into the Green Lantern Corps, having Sinestro as his mentor and partner, and gains the Lanterns trust and respect after helping them in battle agains the Manhuters, lead by Krona. The film would also have cameo by John Stewart, who would be establish as Hal''s friend. In the post credit scene he would join the Green Lantern Corp, being choosen to protect Earth while Hal would be busy in space mission. 8) Justice League Secret Origin Fancast: Superman (David Corenswet); Batman (Robet Pattison); Wonder Woman (Daisy Ridley); Flash (Lucas Till); John Stewart (Mustafa Shakir); Zatanna (Ana de Armas); J’onn J’onzz (Colin Salmon); Protex (Iwan Rheon). Plot: A epic super hero film. The heroes would be reunite by J’onn J’onzz, who ask their help to return to Mars and stopping the Hyperclan, a group of white martians (lead by J’onn nephew, Protex), from stealing Earth energy to save their planet. The final scene would have Starro cameo and the Justice League fighting him (reference to New Frontier), revealing themselves as team to the world for the first time, with no one knowing about their adventure in Mars (That’s why the film title is Justice League SECRET origins.)
Their idea of the Trinity doing duo movies sounds really good for the core League members. Like Superman's with GL and has alien threats appearing every now and then between bouts with Luthor and Sinestro. Batman brings in the earthly villains between Arkham inmates like Deathstroke while working with someone like Flash or Cyborg maybe. And Wonder Woman has some fantastical bouts with magical enemies alongside Aquaman or Shazam even.

Honestly I think one of the lynchpins of the current MCU was supposed to be T’Challa/Black Panther which is one reason I have a violent opposition to never recasting or bringing back T’Challa. For the record I think if you look at the characters being introduced in phase 4 it’s similar to phase 1, we have to build up the next Tony Stark or Steve Rogers, we just don’t realize have a transitional main character at the moment.
Whatever they do, they need to leave the plan loose enough so they can change plans if they need to. A loose plan is what helped the MCU kick off, and a strict plan is what goofed up the DCEU. When they realized general audiences didn’t like Snyder’s tone, it was too late cause they were like 3 movies in and had 2 fully complete and ready to release.
This would be kind of cool as a starter point and also have a wider consequence. Why not have the first reboot be almost and arkham asylum style movie, taking ques and ideas from the original game, and switch the ending around to be where batman almost is joker infected but prevents it. This could lead to the set up, nothing happens in the real world, and then post credits shows the flip side where it does happen, ending on bruce giving a laugh as the screen goes black.
I think two good one-off villains for a Justice League film is Vandal Savage and Amazo. Vandal thinks he should rule the world again, but seeing the Justice League as a threat to his plans, he has Professor Ivo make Amazo, and have it attack each member of the Justice League one by one.
I’ve been telling friends of mine they for years that they need to do team up movies and call them Worlds Finest, like Worlds Finest: Gods and Kings (wonder woman/Aquaman), or Worlds Finest: Truth and Justice (Wonder Woman/Superman)

I think a full on reboot has been needed awhile now but as i say that i depends whose doing it whose gonna be the planer/producer to honest despite loving the idea i have a feeling this is some real monkey paw shit the guy in change i not only have very little faith on the dc front but he's has some dumb opinions on streaming and scripted television which considering he's in change of hbo is really concerning for anyone who like good tv.

People complain about the MCU because it’s popular and because there really isn’t many other franchises that are as consistent. Don’t get me wrong the MCU has its faults, but at least you know what your getting. With DC you could get a hopeful fun movie like Shazam or Wonder Woman or have something as disjointed and edgy as Batman v Superman. Even if something is mediocre people would prefer that to inconsistency.

It’s best to move away from the Snyder stuff it’s cool for fans who liked it but it significantly hurt the dc brand as his movies weren’t received that well and didn’t make much money so it’s time to reboot and actually do dc characters correctly and I want a Nightwing movie
I don't think the actors aging is a real issue. You can see the 20 years that have passed for Tobey Maguire when he returned, and similarly for Doctor Who anytime a previous Doctor shows up they are visibly older but the audience doesn't care. They're just happy to see them back and very understanding that actors age.
I dunno as far as Tobey is concerned no one cares 20 years had past because in universe 20 years had passed for his character. Plus Tobey is still THE definitive Spider-Man to most people so his return makes sense in universe. Most DC actors can’t say the same thing. The only ones who would likely be equivalent to Tobey returning are Micheal Keaton or Christian Bale as Batman or Christopher Reeve as Superman. Neither of which look very promising. Other then that there isn’t enough attachment from general audiences to really justify keeping any of the actors.
How about a movie with Bart Allen/Impulse, with sort of a Back to the Future vibe? He runs back in time to stop his arch enemy from killing his great grandparents before Barry is conceived. He saves his grandparents, but somehow something went wrong (maybe Barry gets conceived on a later date or something), and Bart goes (pun intended) back to the future and sees photos of his grandpa looking completely different.
Take sky high where we have all these established heroes and we get Kyle Ryaner just getting the ring, going to the Hall of justice and meeting the league for the first time That way we can keep Cavill, Godot, and everyone else (minus Miller) and the verison we watched is from the comics of that world that Kyle got to draw but now he is meeting the real deal as the heroes unite to battle Hal Jordan as Parallax and Kyle faces his trial by fire as the new GL fighting his predecessor
The thing about Sals point in the end of the video is valid. I think the new protagonist of the MCU was supposed to be the Black Panther but something unfortunate happened.
It's been reported that the Flash budget is as of now 200 million, before marketing, and not only have they done reshoots with Ezra before he was caught, they did it in June when we all knew what was going on but WB kept it hush hush.
I think the end of the first couple solo movies should be a build up of infinite crisis. 5-10 min shorts with the Snyder Justice League, introducing super boy (with a new origin of actually being superman's son but not jonathan), then at the end of every movie they build up to being trapped in the paradise dimension. Then super boy suffering from cabin fever, he breaks out and you keep the punch leading to the first or second Justice League movie. If they make a mini movie as the after credits, they could also release it as a separate dvd and beat marvel at their own after credit game.

Here's what I would do A) Reset / Reboot finish out The DCEU and then you can start fresh with DC Films or if you don't bring back the SnyderVerse option B) Reboot everything which is what I don't want. Warner Bros. Discovery has a lot of work to do with giving us a DC Universe on Film what ever that is to get it right and most importantly have a plan going forward. One of my major frustrations with the DC Universe on film with was the prior owners of Warner Bros. whom ever owned the studio they where like lets put this film and that film out and see what sticks and also the tone of the DC Universe on film was at the beginning very dark and grim with no hope to the universe at all but later that did change and was going in the right direction or so we thought. I want as a DC Comics fan the DC Universe on film to be great again. Bottom Line is The DC Comics DC Films DCEU universe at Warner Bros. Discovery needs a reset / reboot. You have a great DC Universe on TV despite some fans not liking the shows and some of it’s flaws but fans love that universe like myself and the DC Films should be given that same treatment but different. Also when the DC Universe on film is reset / rebooted don’t make it so dark and grimm that was one of my main frustrations with the DCEU is their is no Hope in this universe. The DC universe on film needs to have a mix of light and dark kind of what the classic DC Films where. Make the DC Universe on film fun again you have that with the Wonder Woman films , Shazam! , Aquaman and James Gunn’s The Suicide Squad universe. Don’t be afraid to embrace the fun of The DC Universe with future films but have a mix of light and dark but get the tones of the films right. Thanks Sal and Benny and keep up the great work man !!! Hopefully the DC Universe gets turned around at Warner Bros. Discovery one can only hope.
I believe that they should allow all finished or close to finishing movies made before the merge be released then use the batman and spin off the new universe from that and never mention the old universe even when the multiverse eventually happen also I say grant gustin could make an absolute metric ton from capitalising on their flash problem and I really want him back
I agree with Sal that you start the reboot with The Batman and recast the rest of the league for the same reasons he mentioned as well as the Batman Who Laughs being the Thanos level big bad. I also agree with Benny that phase 1 has your World's Finest and team up movies with phase 2 having your JL film. I also like the pitches of the Timmverse JL style film, gorilla city, and the dominators. Personally, I know I'm in the minority here, but I would like to see a Sideways film at some point. I think that character has some real potential, he's easily the best, might be one of the only good things, Didio did
I think these are the two most realistic options for the DCEU going forward (As much as I love the Snyderverse, it's unlikely it'll be restored): 1) Soft Reboot with The Flash and build up to a Final Crisis movie at the end of the 10 year plan, recasting whoever they need to (Miller, Heard and anyone who wants to leave), then maybe hard reboot after Final Crisis. This would be my preferred option since I love the cast we have and just scrapping it all would be a waste and seems like a bad & complicated financial decision. 2) Full Reboot with The Batman as a starting point or just start over completely.
Just on that secret wars tangent about RDJ coming back and potentially bringing back others, what if thats the start of the movie. Heroes are returning to life as they do generally and often in the comic books but turns out its the skrulls masquerading on these characters reverence to go unquestioned
I think they need to fully reboot. New actors, new stories. I say wrap up all the projects you currently either have so release Blue Beetle, Shazam 2, Black Adam, Flash, Aquaman 2 and also release films and series that you promised creators or you tend to make so that being Peacemaker Season 2, whatever James Gunn’s next DC project is, The Batman 2 and The Batman 3, Joker 2, Black Adam vs Shazam or Black Adam vs Superman, Wonder Woman 3. Then when all those projects are done start the ten year plan. New cast, new stories. Feature Superman more and tell some great stories with him. Build up to a Batman White Knight, build up to the Death Of Superman, build up to a Kingdom Come. If a director doesn’t want to work in this new continuity universe then they can by having their films be Elsewords titles or Black Cabal (this was Coy’s idea from Reel Rejects and I think it really works)

The WBD doesn’t want the Snyderverse story but he wants to keep the same Cast. It makes sense. Ben, Henry, Jason and Gal are epic in their roles. I think savage would be a really cool villian for a solo movie first, than after the first wave movie do some setup for the second justice league be an adaptation of justice league doom, which is the animated tower of Bable adaptation with savage forming the legion of doom to use batmans plans

I’ve been praying since walking out of BvS dismayed and angry for a universe wide reboot! Despite some bright spots (Gunns work & Shazam) I abhor the current DC universe. Even in ok films like Birds of Prey the entire thing is mired in the baggage and aesthetic of Snyders depressing nonsense. Decent actors and contracts be damned, it all needs an honest, non convoluted fresh start, but good luck ACTUALLY getting that when you have Zaslav disappearing whole films yet not the one with the felon that makes for an annoying Flash anyway? This dialogue was sooo good. I agree about needing a new Flash at the end of the movie (if they actually release it because who knows at this point). The Flash movie feels cursed... -____- I would really love to see the Batfamily on the big screen....and see other legacy characters. With that idea, it would mean starting again with someone younger (like Pattinson) and not Ben Affleck if they actually have a 10 year plan and truly want to expand the universe with legacy characters.
People forget that 2017 is still Zach’s movies as DGA rules go if at least 51 % of footage used is from a director that director is credited. And 2017 justice league was way over 51 % of Zach’s footage. Case closed
Loved these ideas! I agree with Sal about using the Batman to launch the new universe but i would do it in a different way. Also I think the executive's decision to have high budget movies only is idiotic and just makes me think their concern would be too much CGI and throwing action scenes at us rather then story. If a movie like the Joker and even Batman worked on smaller budgets why not keep that option open? Year 1: The Ending Finish off the franchises we have now, cleaning house for the new universe. But i think DC needs to have patience while restarting everything because they want some aspects to remain of their old universe. That's not going to work having a new universe and the same actors as the old. Movies: 1. Black Adam vs Shazam 'Cameo with HC as Superman' | 2. Wonder Woman and Aquaman - At the end of both movies tease the multiverse is breaking down and the dark multiverse is seeping in. \\ 3. The Batman 2 set in it's own universe still, introduce Dick Grayson! // 4. Joker 2 Year 2: The Ending part 2 1. Crisis: Get as many cameos from all the DC tv shows and have those evil Batman from the dark multiverse just killing everyone. Superman assembles Shazam fam, Black Adam, Wonder Woman, Aquaman, Peace Maker and Harley Quinn to fight off evil Batman team. In a twist they loose the fight sacrificing themselves to save the universe. Post credit we see the Batman who laughs 'for the first time escape to an unknown universe // 2. Batman 3. Dick Grayson becomes Robin. At the end we see a scene of him looking out into the skyline and Superman floating in the sky Year 3. The reboot! 1. Green Lantern. - Hal's origin story / then mostly set in space. 4. Batman 4. They're tracking Martian Manhunter leading them to Metropolis and meeting the Kent family. Post credit a lantern ring flys down to earth and Jon becomes the 2nd Green Lantern. We think it might be Hal's. 5. Star City - The Flash and John team up to fight Aquaman over a misunderstanding. Later Aquman joins them. Manhunter recruits them to form a special team on behalf of Batman and Superman. Year 4: Team ups 1. The Trinity - Superman, Batman and Wonder Woman | 2 Green Lantern 2 - Hal fights in space revealing he's alive. Somewhere in the middle he goes to Earth and teams up with John. | 3. Aquaman, Manhunter and the flash team up to discover the planet Thanagar, Hawkman and his wife Hawkgirl are the antagonists but later see their ways of their people are wrong and become their allies. | 4. Super Sons. - Dickgrayson teams up with Jon Kent while their parents are away. They investigate other metas and form the Teen Titans introducing a young Starfire, Beast Boy, Cyborg and Raven. Year Five: 1. JUSTICE LEAUGE! and 2. Teen Titans :) then the world is open for anything! they could start getting more experiential with new heroes or have sequels to their other ones like a Superman 2, green lantern 3 ect. the world would be completely opened up.
An easy way to re-cast Batman but not the others is to have the flash interact with Gotham and somehow change the life of one of Batman’s parents/ grandparents resulting in a different coupling. Then back in modern day the actor can be different based on a modified family.
I like the Trigon as the big bad of 10 years and you can introduce the sidekicks somewhere near the end of phase 2 beginning of phase 3 and then boom phase 4 is Titans or Young Justice
I know The Batman wants to do Court of Owls, and I'm super onboard, but if they wanted to reboot DCEU...After the flood, make Batman No Man Lands, introduce more villains who saw Batman and Riddler on TV and were inspired to take a slice of Gotham, letting Joker and Riddler out to play as well but have them not be the big bad this time. Have Supes show up and asks to help, Bats says no, and Clark helps the normies by teaching farming instead of beating the tar out of a Batman villain. Superman introduced into the new world, recast as they will. In The Batman 3 or The Superman, bring in new Wonder Woman. She gets a solo flick, maybe introduce Flash in her film as a cameo or in Superman, then go Justice League and introduce Green Lantern. Flash and GL can then get their own solo if it is doing well. Cast young so it can keep going for a couple of decades.
I’m glad that I’m not the only one who dislikes the Batman who laughs. I agree with Sal, dc needs to do a clean slate reboot. Keep gal gadot as wonder woman but she’s a different version with a different costume. I am all for Jason mamoa as Lobo! That also solves the AH Mera issue and how it was revealed that they have zero natural chemistry. Plus they can do Kaldur'ahm aqualad/man and the black mantra family drama.
I don't even agree with you guys like 80% of the time(cept you sal✊🏾) but y'all are great to listen to, just wanted to give some praise. I hope DC will eventually get it when it comes to making a successful franchise for the cinematic sphere but I don't know if a company based in documentaries will help. We'll see hoping for a great superman movie.
Death and Return of Superman could make for an great Infinity War/Endgame. Skipping 5 years and seeing how the world coped without Superman and giving the “replacements” time to breathe and establish their stories and impacts would be cool.
Love the idea of keeping Zachary Levi, The Rock, Jason Mamoa, and Gal Gadot and other great actors and just moving on with a brand new universe and restart and basically ignore all of the suck. I really wanna keep those characters and actors and think it’d be great with an amazing restart and hopefully a Pattinson Batman in the Universe. Love the idea of Batman Who Laughs as the Thanos. I really don’t want another total reboot
Ive always thought dark knights metal would be a great movie idea. I'd love to see all of rebirth, but that's a big difficult. But my pitch would be to use tempest fuginot as your end credits scene. Let him introduce us to the dark multiverse and then maybe at the end of each movie (flash, green lantern, etc) you see that dark multiverse Batman. So maybe we get red death as a post credits scene. Then Batman the drowned, followed by the green lantern one that I can't remember his name, and then merciless and so on. Then once we get to batman's movie, let's introduce the Batman who laughs. Then when you do metal, we only have to show one scene with him gathering dark Batman, Because we've already established a handful of them.
I think wiping everything out would be a waste. Keep what works and discard the rest. Offer Cavill a trilogy. If he gets difficult, fire him and move on. Keep Reeves Verse separate too.
When Sal mentioned Grodd, I got the idea for the villain to be the Ultra-humanite working with the apes of Gorilla City. He just wants Superman's body and he forms his own Legion of Doom to help make it easy
If we reboot, please no origin movies. We already know what happens. First Superman movie if you ask me? Superman vs The Elite. Solo Superman movie where he doesn't know any other heroes so he doesn't call on them, and he's an inspiration to everyone else.
I just want to see a DC universe that looks and feels like injustice games. Not necessarily the exact same story but I feel like the look and tone is perfect for being good and different from marvel. They just need people who understand and love DC better overall. Also couldn't agree more with just scraping the entire dceu and building off the batman. Use that film as your iron man and just like the mcu did you slowly ease into the more fantastical while introducing your most popular characters. Then you can use sequels to intro lesser knowns and build an over arching narrative towards justice league.
To do a 10 year plan for DC could also be done like this (keep in mind I'm going off of a Flashpoint reboot and the batman given that's what we have) the flash movie ends he looks around in this new universe and he see's batman and he wants to see him first bc he was kinda his mentor in the previous film with either Keaton or batfleck but after that we continue the batman trilogy but it won't connect not yet anyways it should at the batman 3 with Bruce with a young Robin in the batcave and flash bursts in there he tells them he needs his help and the only way Bruce believed him was because flash knows his identity and so on with that happening the other solo movies can just be solo movies with a bit of a crossover you get a wonder woman movie but she is fighting an ancient army and with the help of the aquaman or its a wonder woman vs someone we haven't seen but it's not in the past it's the present and she is filmed everywhere with the news talking about this powerful woman you can end her movie with a aquaman connection just to connect those 2 isolated worlds you get a superman film where he fights brainiac and in this movie it goes to advance some of the space stuff you get a Martian manhunter cameo you have an appearance of a green lantern that connects to a lantern film and broaden the things with space just something to set up your 7 JLA members but all these solo films connect to a justice league movie where you can do a full on invasion that was being hinted at during superman and you have 2 separate groups with batman flash wonderwoman and aquaman together and superman green lantern and Martian manhunter in another but they all meet up the JLA movie can start with Atlantis getting hit bad by the invasion that aquaman tries to fight off but needs wonderwomans help and they get together to do so but find out that there's more coming then we cut to metropolis where superman see's signs of the invasion as a massive ship arrives and you get green lantern flying in to help simultaneously it cuts to Gotham and its the same but batman can't stop all of them so he call in the favor with flash and they both figure out a way to drive the aliens away something that makes them needing to meet with the other 2 groups and with them all trying to fight off the invasion they also find out who lend the aliens here with a big bad but for the most part I want a JLA movie that fully connects them gets the interactions we haven't seen yet and shows off how strong they can be together so it has an impact of a glimpse at a brighter tomorrow but after that we set up more villains to play around with you can have black Adam angry bc of the invasion hit kandak and he wants revenge with that you can get a Shazam superman team up with black Adam flash is off dealing with the aftermath of the invasion and finds a frequency that leads to victor stone in star labs but shows the in the wreckage of the invasion they found a mother box and you have a set up for something else on the back burner but all these new films sets up for legion of doom or get into more new gods stuff bc by this time we forgot about all the synderverse stuff but it has something that leads one to another I don't really wanna give certain heroes films that are already 2-3 films deep so you can have those team up movies instead that's why I wouldn't have a solo film of wonderwoman or aquaman seeing they both have 2 films at this time but we get more superman show him why he is the hope people need and also have a lantern film that can lead to new gods but have it to where we can appreciate what each member brings so if one of them can get killed off it has emotion and weight to it and In this universe I wanna see staple characters that we seen before have new things in live action like batman actually having side kicks we seen him countless times without them

How about reverse comics superman. In the way that they had the New 52 Superman merge with the prime Earth superman. You could use Henry Cavill and a new actor. Cabell's acting in the background as Superman while the new Superman is doing his stuff in the front crowd and do that for the all of the Justice League cast. Eventually that will merge and you have all new Prime heroes.
Warner's approach reminds me of when the New 52 started. Superman, wonder woman and flash got completely rebooted, but batman and green Lantern had most of their continuity kept in tact.
They should scrap flashpoint and tell ezra miller look you will have a lot of legal fees soon. We will give you 5 million for a 10 minute scene where the Barry Allen flash dies in Crises in Infinite Worlds. Have the pov character be Lex Luthor and have all the old actors be in this first Crises movie. Then have solo movies and recast accordingly. Perhaps The Batman can be the first movie after the first crises. Then build up to Infinite Crises with the trinity being the focus and then Final Crises (batman get sent back in time and evil Wonder Woman vs superman) with Darkseid (Maybe make it so that the anti monitor was made by Darkseid). They don't have to be great just pretty good and they will make a lot of money.
What if the flash that runs thru looks at the tv and is like oh that Batman’s nicer then mine then u can go into Batman who laughs but 10 years down the line or a evil justice league or even do Superman being evil for injustice but either way don’t do anything but teases for a while here n there
