That whole Suge melee during the filming of Straight Outta Compton, in 2015 was part of the reason for that. After leaving death row Dre could never come close to Compton. When he did, that's when Suge would pay him a visit.

I think Dre learned a lot when death row ended for him. Watched everyone he consider friends, turn their backs on him except jimmy. His family situation was probably the same. Just a bunch of people with their hands out demanding money when he didn’t have it. Probably made himself a promise during those times that he would never allow that to happen again. Cut off the vultures no matter who they were. Friends family and people around him. If we are not trying to make money together it must mean you are trying to take what I have and I don’t need it.

I mean Warren G and Dre are step-brothers. It was a shock when it came out they were brothers. They never acted like they were close. However, there would not be enough time to thank everyone single person who was a part of the West Coast movement and part of Dre’s history. The main people who have stayed with him were up there. His largest acts were there. If Dre would have brought up 2Pac people would have had an issue. With his kids, there is a history that we will not understand because we aren’t and were not there. I do agree with Reggie about mending the fences how. But that comes from how close I was with my father before he died. I believe fathers are integral to their kids, especially their daughters.
