Should 'F3+A' Be Banned on Friend Or Foe? 

Hey!! Great vid! I've had short chats with the ForF boys and they're generally fine with F3+A but seeing the backlash I decided to stop using it a while ago, I do agree that it feels a bit too strong in the videos I use it in. I don't mind taking on a bigger challenge by not using it anymore.

I like how Clown using f3+a makes him even scarier. He is already jumpscaring Sb and Mini by portal trapping them and accidentally killing both of them. I think him just standing, knowing exactly where they are while they hode underground, walking away and then laughing really lets him fill the role of the guy who everyone is scared of. Clown is cool.

meanwhile sb makes void traps with exploits

Keep it it makes the series longer and will force players to use more complex traps and makes the series last longer with more content so it is a win win for everyone in the long run

It feels like the others have realized they can't kill Clown, so they just decided to let him go insane from paranoia instead

I think the fact that everyone makes this big of a deal about it and the other server members STILL haven't made clown stop tells me that they are ok with it.

Your definitely right about that last part. It would be up to the current members of "Friend or Foe" to decide if its wrong to use F3+A. On the most basic terms, everyone who's been trying to combat Clown using traps to counter his pvp skills is wasting there time unknowingly. They don't know about this. Honestly, it does take away from the content by a little. (No trap has gotten completely foiled to F3 + A yet, the worst it did was expose SB working with Mini). The element of surprise is dead from traps excluding the ones from the nether are dead. There's no arguing about that. F3 + A took that away. (Unless you're not Clown). F3 + A was never meant to show the location of entities or particles. It could be compared something I found out about Minecraft not that long ago. Apparently, Minecraft does all that it can to remember what has happened in your single player world. One day, I accidentally cut the power to my PC, and it had an unexpected side effect on Minecraft's progress save feature. When I logged back in, Minecraft had remembered things incorrectly. At first, it looked like it had just reset my progress a little. It uncombined a bow I had previously combined, but given me back the levels, and placed every item that I had taken out of my ender chest back in my ender chest. However, after taking everything back out of the ender chest, and then opening my other chest, I discovered that everything I had placed in there before was still there. Minecraft had accidentally duplicated my items! Just to make sure I wasn't crazy, I looked for the ender dragon egg, and there were two of them instead of one. If I learned the secrets of why Minecraft did what it did, and then applied it to a mulitplayer server, would it be fair? It may be a glitch, but anyone can do it. They just don't know how, that's the problem. It would be an exploit only I'd have the pleasure of using. The same goes with "Friend or Foe." No one else knows how to use, and therefore they're at an unfair disadvantage.

-Is F3a bad for the series? -Yes -Is Clown using this on purpose to ruin the series? - Heck No -Does using this make Clown a bad person? -No -Would clown most likely stop if he noticed how controversial it was? - Yes

This doesn’t apply to me, It’s my friend. But when he F3+A’s his device is quite low end and he can’t see entities only particles with any render distance. So technically higher end do have an advantage. But I assume this doesn’t apply to everyone.

For traps, using crafting table and dripstone then, since the F3+A only see entities, and also easier to acquire resources

I want to share my opinion . I am a speedrunner and we ( speedrunners ) usually use f3+f to increase or decrease chunk loader and f3+a to load chunk . Which mean f3+a is a speedrun trick . All i want to say : f3 + a isnt cheating , it is speedrun trick . But i am SB and Clownpierce fan . I dont want to say clown was hacking but i feel so sad for Mini and SB because they didnt know this deadly trick . I feel so sad for SB bc he dont know , if he know this trick he will more careful when he built a trap . F3 + A let u see xray entity , Clown can see trap bc sb use item frame and minecart ( entity ) . So we can say there no way clown will be trapped in overworld . The only way to trap and kill him is nether portal trap bc he will not fast enough to relize anything ( SB can u invisibility potion , take off armor and trap clown , this will be deadly )

Haha was in the video. It does make traps useless and the series less fun so it should he removed. Good video.

This was a really great video, nice work. In my opinion I think they should disable everyone from using such feature because it’s able to counter certain traps and find out specific locations of whoever’s near.

"if is accessible to everyone" wrong. for some people like me, for some reason it doesn't work, and instead just freezes my game for a few seconds, not even showing other peoples location.

No it's perfectly fine. If you want to ban it then ban the f3 screen too as well as any other glitches and exploits

Actually it isn't accessible to everyone as lower end pcs can't even do it sometimes

i have a pretty decent pc that i would consider to be middle end. i can run most modern games at 144 fps consistently on high graphics settings. even with a computer like that, every time i try to use f3 + a it lag spikes my game so i can't even use it. so, personally i'd consider it an extremely unfair advantage because i feel like a lot of people can't even do it if my computer can't. it's also really cringe to basically have a built-in xray in the game that lets you see players through walls, even if that wasn't the intended use. that's clearly not how the game was meant to be played. i think it should just be taken out of the game for that reason. the only people that defend it are the ones that can abuse it in that way.

In my opinion I think it should be banned or at least be reduced somehow Clown has used this to easily see traps and avoid them Clown is the best player on this server and everyone has come to the conclusion that he can’t be beaten in pvp (at least for now) So they use traps but with F3+A, they are easily foiled and thus making clown near invincible Also, the human nature argument isn’t very valid since it’s a video game I mean it is human nature to be cautious but is it human nature to kill someone? It isn’t

Nah wasnt that argument already over? Its a vanilla feature + rules didnt included + its a strat that almost every SMP & Anarchy player needs to know. Why should it banned? Because SB consistently tries to trap Clown in like every episode and not PvP? Imagine arguing over a vanilla feature 🗿 If exploits are not allowed, then why SB broke bedrock for making void trap to Clown?

In the wise words of The Spiffing Brit "It's not cheating, it just a creative use of intended game mechanics" also the comparison to Bedrock Breaking doesn't work for Friend or Foe even if it was comparable normally as SB used it to trap Clown's portal
