@@Blazecap yeah. Star Wars needs to move away from that stuff for a minute. At least one project. The Mandalorian could have been ruined by Luke but luckily he only said a few words and left.
I feel that I disagree but would agree to saying overuse of the jedi would be bad. However, I also think so much from the expanded universe was loss to the great purge that many things need to be reconfirmed. For Boba Fetts story I want to see him capture some jedi or former jedi not make that jedi a part of the story but just to watch the fight and left at that.
I doubt Grogu will be in the main story of The Book of Boba Fett, if he does it'll probably just be flashbacks to establish timeline and do some worldbuilding. I think the first episode especially will have a lot of that and we know we are getting Fett in his desert gear before getting his armor baco so that might include him and Fennec tracking Grogu and Din from Tatooine to Tython, so we might just be seeing glimpses of them from Boba's perspective. That makes sense I think and that would help establish a timeline and fill in gaps we have; just Fett in his desert gear? That's pre-Mando S1. Fennec's around? Between S1 and S2. Grogu's in the picture, ok now we're getting close to The Marshal and The Tragedy. I think that will be the extent of Grogu's appearance if it even happens
Whether or not it happens this way, I agree it will probably be in small cameos, and that's fine, it'll be just enough to keep him relevant, which is a good idea if you have something like that where everyone wants to see it but they don't want to let the momentum get away, yet still keep people coming back for more, right?
Certainly makes me wonder if both Boba and Fennec eventually became friendly enough to become on-and-off, unofficial "Bad Batch honorary members". :) And with Crosshair still keeping his distance from his brothers (and still seeking to rejoin the Empire at Season 1's conclusion), there seems to be a job opening in the Bad Batch's ranks (for a sniper, which Fennec conveniently can fill).

I really hope not. This show shouldn’t be so closely related to Mando. Boba’s only involvement was to return Grogu to safety in exchange for getting his armor. After that, he went his separate way and it should stay that way, imho.
Q&A: considering the CIS fought against the exploitation of the corrupt republic officials in the core worlds and on coruscant, and considering Orn Free Taa was one such individual, why didn’t the general populace of ryloth revolt and join the separatist at the start of the clone wars? And do you think Cham Syndulla and his group would have supported the separatists if they hadn’t led such a brutal invasion of his planet?
I'm pretty sure that the people of Ryloth had enough experience with some of the members of the CIS that they knew the excuse used was just pretext so they could have the freedom to openly commit crimes without facing any consequences.
Q&A: how did Palpatine stay in office so long? I know he was given emergency powers to stay in office during the clone wars. But his maximum time in office (two 4-year terms) should've expired 2 years before AotC (before the clone wars even started, thus no emergency powers needed yet). Has this been explained in Canon or Legends?
iirc in the picture dictionary, its mentioned that he had manufactured other crises to keep in power like probably the separatist crisis, it started just when his last term was going to end and that turmoil might have pushed up any elections, he didn't need emergency powers yet but its reasonable that some sort of temporary extension could be pushed through, before he could properly manipulate emergency powers
Two possible explanations: 1. While the Clone Wars proper didn't start until AotC, the Separatist Crisis where systems began seceding to join Count Dooku had already begun over two years prior, before Palpatine's second term would have expired, so the Senate may have believed the Republic needed to have a single strong leader during a time of potential civil war, even if war had not yet broken out. 2. In the real-world American government (which also has two four-year terms for heads of state), the actual limit is 10 years, as if a president resigns or is impeached or killed over halfway through their term, the vice president who takes office is actually allowed to run for re-election twice. It's possible something similar exists in Star Wars, and that since Palpatine was first elected after Valorum was prematurely ejected from office by a vote of no confidence he was able to serve the rest of Valorum's term plus two full terms, and his second full term was set to expire just after AotC.
I enjoyed the Ascendancy Trilogy and really wish Thrawn would return home for the final showdown with the Grysk. I doubt that happens since he’s crossing over into live action maybe a Grysk War with Ar’alani and Eli Vanto could happen.
Q&A: I had a Star Wars related idea when I was watching One Piece anime from the Flash Back of Big Mom that Big Mom ate Mother Caramel that gained the Soul-Soul Fruit from consuming Mother Caramel. If a Non-Force Sensitive that ate a Force Sensitive like say a Sith for example, do you think that Non-Force Sensitive would gain Force Abilities and the Midichorlian Blood from live eating a Force Sensitive?

I agree that the Ascendency Trilogy was difficult, but in the end, I ended up really loving it. I thought it got better with each book, with Lesser Evil being one of my favorite Zahn books under Disney.
Q&A: When did Luke and the Spectres learn that Palpatine was a Sith? In Wolves and a Door and Return of the Jedi they don't show any surprise when he brings up using the Force, so they must already know, but how? Does the Rebel Alliance make all its members aware of the fact?
think it makes sense for most droids to have some amount of sentience and will they are for the most part buildt for kinda complex tasks that youd definitly benefit from having the ability to make decisions not just run an exact program especially like protocol droids would be poor assistants if they couldnt properly and really understand what you need from them, hard to be a diplomat if the only thing you have are exact sentences to say
Q&A: Revenge of the sith shows barely to no opposition to Palpatine's powergrab. In most analogous situations, even if an authoritarian has the popular vote there are still protests and political opposition to them, do we know about anything like that in canon or legends, or was his rise to total political power as smooth as "end war, get Vader, order 66, get rid of separatists, fight Yoda"
I'm sure Alex will answer this. but I can also. in legends, there would have been a pretty substantial opposition. there was around 2000 senators who didn't support palpatine and they even signed a petition to get him removed from office. Padme had taken this *signed petition* to the chancellor. in a formal request for him to step down in the revenge of the sith novelization Padme makes note of key influential members of the senate who signed that petition either not being in the senate chamber when palpatine declared the empire, or they were being removed from the chamber on charges of treason (the petition being the key evidence) so yes there was opposition, problem was Padme accidentally snitched on them. the members of the senate witha little more fore thought like Bel Iblis, Mon Mothma, or Bail Organa didn't sign.
I wonder if we'll see Grogu at all from now on. The sense that I get (and I could easily be wrong) is that they didn't realize how popular he would be and didn't really plan on him being a long-term part of the Mandalorian. Sort of like how Urkel was supposed to be a minor character on Family Matters, but then fans loved him so they had to start writing him into every episode. In the case of the Mandalorian, I wonder if they chose to clear Grogu off the table to they coul focus in Din.
People wouldn't be judging the Galactic Starcruiser so harshly if it didn't cost over $4000 to go there. It's not just another theme park at that point, it should look GREAT for that price.
To me Grogu probably will appear because of the fan demand that want to see him again after the end of the Mandalorian, it will make no sense because where will you put Grogu in the middle of the underworld of Tatooine, this mean that Grogu will steal the thunder of Bobba Fett.
I love your channel Alex and Mollie but the Galactic Starcruiser looks terrible and for $5000 is a complete waste of money. I was actually interested in going until I saw that trailer.
I don't know what people were expecting because that's what movie quality sets look like without the movie lighting and other effects making places look better. My main issue with the video was that the singer should have been singing in Ryl not Basic. As for the presenters that was pretty standard promotional video corporate acting.
I hope for one thing in the upcoming Star Wars shows: no more senseless cameos which serve almost no purpose except to get fanservice points. Some good fanservice here and there can never hurt, but IMO "The Mandalorian" started pandering to the fans, which had a negative impact on the show's overall quality.
I can honestly see where your coming from. You KNOW it’s a problem when Mando/Din feels like a side character in his OWN show! I say Bad Batch is a bigger offender. At least in Mando all the cameos were important for the greater storyline.
The only thing I'm confident about the 2022 schedule is that Marvel and Star Wars won't overlap. So when one Star Wars show ends, the next will be Marvel, alternating, with a couple of weeks of gap between (or possibly no gaps).
If Grogu's in Book of Boba Fett, then Luke has to be in Book of Boba Fett, and then they need a reason why Luke isn't going to try and take Boba down for his many crimes. The show's really not likely to be that long, and Boba has little to no attachment to Grogu personally (did he even see him in Mando Season 2?).
But that means Luke will tag along. Why do we need Luke/Grogu/Jedi in every Star Wars project. The galaxy is so much bigger than Jedi and Sith. Let this be its own story away from the other stuff.
