I've decided that thematically no one can betray boba this season bc the whole thing he's supposed to be learning is that having a tribe and trusting people makes you stronger not weaker
I was thinking that Fennec may be the one to do it, but after Chapter 4 I'm not so sure. The most likely candidate to be a traitor I think is Danny Trejo.
Danny is too on the nose for me. Fennec owes her life to Boba so I never considered her, although you never know. Say… can a droid betray humans? There’s one in an episode in the Clone Wars no? That torture droid might be a candidate. At this point I don’t expect anyone to betray Boba to be honest.

How would you feel about Mando S3 centering around Din uniting the Nevarro Covert and Bo’s Nite Owls? Two different Mando societies with polar opposite views on Mando culture finally coming together as one? The Armorer and Bo has completely different world views and the former returning is incredibly likely. So the two of them butting heads would be a very interesting idea to me.
I think that IF Boba desires marry Fennec, Boba will have to clone himself in order to have a child, because I think Fennec's cybernetics in her stomach will not support a pregnancy. Like Bail and Breha Organa, they always talked about adoption because Breha also had cybernetics replacing vital organs because of an accident she had in an ancient alderranian test for the heir of the throne. Leia had not cybernetics and passed this test because she is Force-sensitive. And I think Boba will want to make a child clone because he will want someone of his and his father Jango Fett's blood and won't want to adopt.
Q&A: do you think Yoda being around since the High Republic and then his involvement in the fall of the Jedi shines a bad light on him? Like he saw the Jedi at it's highest, saw them losing their way and did nothing.
I think yoda is meant to be shown in a bad light in the films he’s in, not that he’s evil, just complacent and out of touch, even in the original, he thought the only option was to kill Vader

The firewood is probably some form of underground root, possibly related to the black melons. Also don’t forget when it comes to the timeline, We don’t know how long Boba wandered around in the desert after his tribe was killed,

I can see cad bane show up at the end of the last episode, teasing season 2. And the "book" story parts for season 2 would be the boba arc in TCW through dreams again.

7:30 To add to this, there is precedence in Star Wars for the reveal of a real big bad. Moff Gideon was that in The Mandalorian Season 1 Chapter 7, and there had been several villains in the animated shows Filoni worked on that came up. So it wouldn't surprise me if a surprise reveal happens in Chapter 6 or 7 of the Book of Boba Fett. Would be nice to go with what we're expecting for once though, as I'm sure we're all tired of surprise villains at this point. Ironic, surprise and twist villains used to be uncommon and different, and now it's an expected trope, so actually avoiding that and going with who appears to be set up as the villain would be different.
Yes youve got a point there. My bet is that thrawn comes in the last episode and he was just trying to thin out the crimescene by infighting to get himself more power if that makes sense. Also im not sure if i would be happy with a pyke as the big bad guy, they all look the same and we dont know any names or stuff about them.
I think that there will be a clear opportunity for betrayal, maybe someone is approached for it, but that it's a "double agent" sort of betrayal where they are truly faithful to Boba- mostly saying this because he is building his tribe by respect and nobility.
This makes the most sense to me. The point of the show seems to be didactic: you need community to survive. For Boba to be “punished” as the end result of growing into a community leader is a level of nihilism we don’t often see in SW. I mean, I’m here for whatever the end game is, but a double agent scenario feels more appropriate.
I hadn't thought about the fire. Good point. I had wondered what the banta eats though. At least when not being thrown cooked meat lol. I mean looks like it;s diet would be mostly herbivorous, it had teeth you would expect of one as well, but would need more plants for that, especially for an animal that size.

I don't think we're QUITE done with the flashbacks yet. I think we'll get at least one more, because we have to see how he tracked his armor to Din Djarin. He obviously doesn't have a tracker on it, because he was still looking in the sarlacc for it. I think we may even get a small Timothy Olyphant/Cobb Vanth cameo. "Hey, partner (because that's what Vanth would say), I gave that armor to the shiny guy when he helped us kill the dragon."
Actually I think the last time Bossk & Boba saw each other was at Jabba's Palace and on Jabba's sail barge in Return of the Jedi. He was in the background during both scenes. Maybe they reconciled there?
I’m pretty sure they established that mando was about 5 years after RTJ. based on the 4th episode where mandos flare is launched I think boba was with the sand people for just about 5 years. It merges points when you see the mechanic walk passed boba.

I feel the formula for succeeds in the MCU is a recipe for failure in the SWU, and vice versa. In a nutshell, there no heroic chaaracters in the SWU. This was the first lesson that Yoda taught Luke.
But I think that some characters aren't familiar yet with Boba's to rule by respect, because they always seem the Hutt's way to rule through fear like the Empire wanted to do same thing using the Tarkin Doctrine and Death Star, which are the same method: rule through fear.

I don't think betray is necessarily the right word, but the most likely candidate in my eyes is Fennec Shand. Fennec cares about what happens to Boba Fett, but he keeps going against her advice. I think she's looking for more of a co-partnership while Boba is looking to be more of a standalone chief that gives the final word when it is necessary. Although there is this talk of loyalty, I think Fennec could become tired of how Boba Fett is running things and just go off and find a new life for herself. No real bad blood, just a disagreement in philosophy and they go their separate ways. Like she just can't break free from her past like he is able to. She hasn't been able to fully grasp what it is Boba is teaching, and so she's going to find a life that is her own using whatever money she's made bounty hunting over the past 30 years. I don't know, she'll start a new business: Fennec's Self Defense Class and Gun Range for Up and Coming Bounty Hunters.
For me it feels like Boba and Fennec like each other because they went throu much similiar Stuff. Like both were famous Bounty Hunters, both heard of each other before, both met the Death more than once. And both were left for dead on the Sands of Tatooine. I think they realize how strong they can be if they work together.... as Friends
the Pikes arriving by public transport I saw as a throwback to westerns, with a bunch of pinkerton gunmen arriving by train ready to basically destroy the town if need be

The most of the rest still hit the archery target. BTW, it served the Pykes best interests to get rid of the biker gang and the Tuskens. It would not surprise me if we learn the Pykes hired someone to kill the Tuskens, and that person looked just like Cad Bane…
Q/A Is Fennec Shan resentful/bitter about being cybernetically enhanced at the direction of Boba Fett, against her consent? This could provide a motivation for betraying Boba Fett down the line. The deadliest assassin is the one standing next to you.
Q&A: Do you think it's possible that Drash (the brown hair girl of the Youth Scooter Gang) is pretty much to the same character of Rey's unnamed mother since they both had brown hair, they pretty much looked like they don't have a home, Drash uses a knife similar to like a Knife was used in TROS, and Drash pretty much got human skin attached to her left arm around here in the 20 year timeline (kinda like Luke had human skin over his cybernetic hand) since we still don't know much about Rey's unnamed parents's past so far?
I highly doubt that. If anything I suspect Sophie Thatcher may be a stand in for Ailyn Vel(Boba’s EU daughter). And so Boba will adopt her Mando style(Clan Fett needs to continue somehow and Boba ain’t getting any younger).

Q&A: Why does no one ever comment on Boba Fett’s “younger clone” appearance? Since all other clones around would be very much older in appearance or have died of old age at this time, it seems it would be very striking (and possibly confusing) to people when they see his face. Probably more of a funny moment to explore in books/comics than live action. And maybe it has and I’m unaware as I don’t read everything.
I know they are trying to cater to the Movie fans, but I would have loved if when Fennec sees him she says, "I didn't know there were any Clones still alive." Then Boba could give his Boba Fett line and the rest is the same, that small line would have been enough

Do you think Boba and Fennec already knew each other when he found her in the desert? I feel like all their scenes together exude a familiarity with each other that’s longer than the time we’ve seen them onscreen together so far, even though that history isn’t explicitly stated, perhaps to keep from spoiling The Bad Batch story. My head canon is that at some point Omega and Clone Force 99 solicited Fennec to help them track down their “brother”. Whatever their ultimate fate ends up being, Boba wasn’t looking for a tribe at that point in his life. BB-Era Boba also probably had a crush on the older Fennec. Anyway, when Nomad Boba comes upon Fennec dying in The Mandalorian, that’s the impetus for him to return to the world. I’m certain Boba did not put a random stranger onto the back of his bantha and raced to Thundercat to pay to have her modded. Also, the way Fennec says “Boba Fett is dead” in The Gathering Storm makes me think that the reason she was on Tatooine in the first place was that she was looking for Boba Fett herself after rumors of him surviving the sarlacc pit started to spread after Cobb Vanth started using his armor.
Hmmmmmmmm gotta say I like this, very much so. I honestly wouldn't mind there being some kind of romance between them (as in the present day) just long as it's not rushed or shoehorned in. Give it time to build and build and then maybe in like season 2 or something (if there was one) we could see a beautiful flourishing romance between the two. Fennec gets pregnant and boom! Like, have his Tusken Raider story in the first episode, followed by meeting Fennec and getting his ship back, then becoming a crime boss. As much as it is great to use Temeura Morrison as Boba Fett in this series, is his age a "thing"? Boba was ~12 years in AoTC, then add ~29 years to place BoBF at 5 years after RotJ, this would make Boba in his early-mid 40s. Also, would Boba have been old, big and strong enough to have taken on Cade Bane in that unfiinished CW arc given that he would have been in his mid-teens at the time?

It's like in TESB, you got a few cool looking Bounty Hunters, some people recognized Boba Fett from the Holiday Special and everyone else new he has a cool armor he must be badass. They did the same thing with BK and they could do the same thing with Durge.
Realistically, no. It's Disney. They're not going to make a twist like that. Their goal is to make these characters likable. So, no. No one is going to betray Fett. All the fighting between Black Krrsatan and Fett we were gonna see has already he done. This Canon is possibly how they're gonna become allies. Fennac betraying Boba is more hilarious than her possibly having a romantic attachment. XD Disney doesn't do that. As for the Rancor and the tamer, neither of them would betray Fett. He's already bonded with the thing. And the tamer would not have allowed him to do that if that weren't part of the plan.
A question for next Q and A: How is inter species marrige and love seen upon in the Star Wars universe? We have seen humans married Twileks (Hera and Cut) and this week we learned that the human engineer had a relationship with a Jawa whom is "pretty hairy". Now I can understand that species that are fairly close to humans expect Lekkus and skin collors (like Twileks and Togrutas) might work better than species that are further away than humans like Pykes or Jawas (even if we dont know theyre real apearence without the masks) and it looks to me that the former verions are not frawned upon that much - But what do you think?

Cad Bane would be AWESOME!!! ✌ Hahaha Two or so hours inside the Sarlacc, about a week with the Tuscans, about two weeks with Fennec Shand, and 4.8 years in between it all travelling really slowly from location to location on the Bantha. 🤣👍

I swear, I swear the rancor tamer is bad! The whole monologue he gave about rancors forming a deep attraction to the first person they see as being unmasked to Boba Fett to make it seem like Boba was the first person they saw. And then immediately after Boba leaves there's a moment between the rancor and Danny Trejo with the "Don't worry he'll be back soon enough". By the end of the series Boba definitely gets to ride the rancor and Danny Trejo will be bad but also he'll be dinner for the rancor anyways.
Re: firewood- If the planet used to to have oceans/seas, it’s likely they’re were trees. When the water dried up the trees would still be left to find… Just a thought, after obviously thinking too much about this
