That last video reminds me of some insane long / hard MM1 levels back then lol. The hard part is not about the stage, but that there's zero check point and super long / punishing.
The area where you have to ride the one block near the end looks to be where the Bowser is coming from during the one fight. So, I don't think the Bowser was meant to be a part of the fight and is just a bit to close to the room you're in so it comes after you.

So what did you learn Ryu? When you have a crazy run going, NO PAUSING IT. That means the luck expires, it doesn't carry over to a week later. You play and play and play till the run ends, even if the video is 3 hours long!
That "spin-jumping on the pokeys" with the shell bonkin' the color switch states level was DEFINITELY clutch! 💪😎✌️ One attempt, three 1-ups to save the run... nice work, Ryu.
30:37 That level looked like it was over capacity. That was so much, how did they fit it all. I've made full levels where you can't place any more blocks, this is so ridiculous!
Sad you booed Airport Jabort, considering has Canadian trickshot tech. It was entertaining to watch and you figured it out! The level name alone deserved a heart. (Only because I can’t stop saying “airport jabort” out loud.)

There’s hot garbage, and then there’s nuclear waste. That level deserves to rot away and never get cleared. Absolutely terrible. I respect your decision to not play it any more.
would have been so cool if he would have said: am i gonna beat this level? ...hell yes... so be prepaired for 3-5 bonus episodes destroying this level. this would have been the absolut gigachad moment.
@@franzise3605 the only reason why i like ryu mario content more instead of thebwest content is he makes his videos without the help of the tool ((in this case totally fine) but thabwest just plays to finish the stuff now and for clicks. uses tool every time. you can see how he actually does not like playing the game anymore. ryu takes everything as a challenge and i thought it would have been the real way of the samurai to show: here ya go folks i am gonna knock this level out.
@@frankthetank1741 I agree that one of the cool things about Ryu's content is that he still seems to have a lot of fun making these videos. But I believe part of that may be due to how he sometimes chooses to let things go. I mean, it is totally possible that he may come back and beat this stage. But if he applied this mentality of knocking every outrageous level out, I think it would take a toll on him over time. You can tell he loves to rise to the challenge, but sometimes he just has to say no. And that is likely for the preservation of his own sanity...
@@franzise3605 Sure, if it's outrageous hot garbage but this level is actually good, just really difficult. It's exactly the sort of thing ryu normally keeps doing until he overcomes it.
@@frankthetank1741 @Livestick42 I wouldn't object if Ryu does decide to come back to the level later but there's a difference between a level being hard because it's actually challenging and being hard because it's stupidly long and unforgiving. Ryu's beaten way harder levels than this one before, but a level like this that probably takes close to the entire time limit (that's over 8 minutes, might not sound like much but if you have to play it even ten times, that's close to an hour and a half) and has no checkpoints is more tedious and annoying than truly difficult.
Speaking of Canada, it would have been funny if Ruy sang the canadian national anthem the way Shawn Michaels did 😂😂 Of course, no offense to the canadian people they gave us the best content in this video
IThe last level was made by a very, very, very dark psychopath. He is probably watching this video right now, maniacally laughing every time Ryu dies and having a "good" time. He probably also clipped that entire section of this video for an infinite re-watch...🤣I also think he sacrificed a cat in the cavern of a volcano, probably mount Fuji...🤯😱😦😧😨😰😥😢😭
Why do you always get a crappy level after you restart it? Because you stop the good momentum and streak you were having. Everyone knows you don't stop a good run.
that guy had to share his pain to beat the entire level without checkpoints to load it online, "i need to beat it without, you guys need too". however, how did you get the map ryu? never seen that in mario maker 2 where you can check the entire level?
Hey Ryu and chance youre going to tackle the older Mario & Luigi games before the new one drops? I promise you that you will like Superstar Saga and Bowser's Inside Story, think of them like a 2D Mario RPG, theres timed attacks and timed blocks like RPG, secrets, weapon upgrades, a linier story progression with fantastic boss fights, different levels of using your super the most basic version does the least dmg but it tells you exactly when to press the action commands and the hardest level does the most damage and you have to remember when to press the commands, its very similar to Mario RPG, I think Barb played it recently.
