Bauss is the kind of players that are afraid of ksante, because of how accurate it is when it comes to reality, I bet my ass, simon would be shaking if he was in front of an IRL ksante, Im calling it right now
@@Vittrich i enjoy glancing st the minimap to see game state and to see the same information that my favorite streamers are seeing. You can see the streamer and the minimap and all other aspects of gameplay at once, not mutually exclusive. That being said I will still watch with map cover, just not ideal as there is less information.
@@Vittrich I don't like watching when they have map cover, it's just shitty to watch without any idea about objectives, teammates or enemies. Especially Baus stream as those things are double important with his playstyle.
Having an opinion formulated entirely based on his yt videos and NOT his stream games, I like that you have your "own" Sion playstyle in which you die a lot while applying pressure and having an enormous exp and gold gap even with 10+ deaths. The problem I am seeing (as a average player, so no professional opinion) is that you take that unique playstyle to other champions and it simply doesn't work..(with the exception of Karthus maybe who has a death-related passive as well). Subconsciously you don't care about your overall death count so you keep dying without offering the benefits that you normally do with Sion, and this tends to drag to extreme heights.
But its still a valid playstyle and this death thing you mentioned that he seem to not care is true and is just room for improvement. Like every other playstyle always has some way to improve on.
@@manuellanthaler2001 let me ask you this. Imagine you are playing your game, and your solo laner dies 18 times in one game, refuses to group, keeps going side lane and dies. Would you report this person for intin or not? Even if they got one or two towers, just be honest. Or have you ever played a game, like really bad game of yours, where you died more than lets say 12 time?
You're right. Recently, he used illaoi with sion strategy. It was obviously didn't work. He can do it with rammus. I think if he use bruiser champion, he should play like a normal bruiser players.
@@localhobo5362 i mean to start off he usually groups for dragons so the not grouping thing is made up And even when his kda is dogshit he has decent gold and xp , he isnt even worth alot of gold per kill when he is 0/18 as u mention so the pressure he applies by constantly pushing allows his team to have favourable fights , when his team loses its easy to look at the board and be like oh yea top diff , but if you rewatch the match most times you will see they lost because of someone else not baus Honestly literally the only thing wrong baus does is bring this playstyle to solo queue , where he doesn't ask his teammates if they are willing to be aggressive when he takes the pressure on himself
Whats crazy about the play at 6:50 was that when he was ignited he killed a minion granting him an extra 8 hp but after the ignite finished ticking he was on 9hp meaning even if he hadn't killed the minion he would have literally survived on 1 hp
This is what flipping bounties is, its feast or famine and is a complete flip of the coin. It should not be allowed since just having the guy on your team is a coin flip.
Yeah but I bet his jungler doesn't like having the enemy team know where he is at all times. He needs to either use map cover or use delay out of respect for his teammates.
:39 "I don't take my games seriously". Proceeds to go 0/16 twice a day because he refuses to recall at any point without dying or killing the enemy. Regardless of vision or knowledge of jungle positioning. Then flames anyone who says anything like it isn't his fault. Then him and his fan boi's cry about streamer getting camped. NO S***! No map cover = ganks with ZERO repercussion. 80% of gamers have 2 screens at this point...
Playing in unorthodox ways or even plain badly is straight up not bannable. That's one of the main reasons why detecting some people who actually throw on purpose is difficult for Riot.
its all fun until he runs down someones challenger games 8 times in a row. i can simply watch him for fun because i will never play in his league, but as one of his teammates knowing he possible can go 1/17, its f*in tilting.
Imagine how fucking annoying would be playing with bauss on your team. The opposing toplaner is perma over fed and your toplaner bauss taxes every lane in farm to get lost gold from his early game and making you hate the game
Baus has to be the most positive, fun, wholesome league streamer out there. No rage, flame, very little tilt, always says wpgg. Thank you Baus for giving us all quality entertainment :)
Having this kind of mentality gets you so far it is unreal how many times games that seem impossible to win could be won in the end. But… sometimes you have to be realistic. If enemy is 5v20 15 minutes in you are most likely not going to win. My point is: have good mental, but manage your expectations, it will save you time.
@@DiabloTommaso he should be banned tbh, man is playing like dogshit lately and is not even thinking about his trades, sure he can have fun all he wants, but he was having fun before and he wasn't this retarded playing his lane, this is borderline griefing
@@LOONAbd so if you are in a loosing streak and not mentaly in the game you should stop. Yeah I get that but lol is his work. Without talking about tyler that got "reformed" just to insult riot on stream every 2.5 seconds
@@DiabloTommaso if bauss is having a bad day maybe he could just play normal games, no one would blame him on twitch. the issue is having a bad attitude on a ranked game where ur team is willing to win at all costs. I always get frustated when my teammates dont give a fuck about the game anymore bc they think it was already doomed Even if its not the case, u cannot die 18 times in a row and called urself a challenger elo player, u re shitting me, right?
@@comeberza I just like to see what information baus is using to make decisions. If the map is covered we don't see where his teammates are when he's making a play.
Coming from a player who is not amazing at league and is just stuck in the middle like majority of players I do think what Baus is doing is becoming a problem. Majority of his games the enemy team has most of their kills on him allowing them to snowball and take out the rest of his team even if they were ahead. I think if Baus wasn't a streamer or buddy buddy with Riot he would have been banned a long time ago. I enjoy watching his streams and his videos but you start to feel bad for his teammates when games are lost due to his playstyle.
@@zedantXiang that's not really the point. He shouldn't lose rank for inting, he should be temporarily banned, which is a sensible punishment. It even helped Baus in this case bc he set up a new account and didn't stream on it so he didn't int. Maybe it was the stream sniper and maybe its his personality on stream, but either way, the inting practically stopped all together. Seems the punishment worked at least in that sense. Maybe he needs to be punished again, maybe for longer this time so he gets all that inting out of his system!
I think 3:00 perfectly sums up Bauffs' unique thought process. He perfectly tracks yone Q cd to a masterful degree. Spacing and dodging like an absolute beast. Then just ints to tower.
@@localhobo5362 He absolutely does it in purpose. He got challenger in Korea so there is no way is so bad. Like he will suicide for a cannon minion 20 seconds before Baron is up and then lose the game. Then he gets all the content of "ohh nooooo sowwy guys im such an inter oh my goood guys"
@@ststudios12345 challenger in korea was before health update, nerfing sion into ground, and buffing every of hes hard counter to s tier or a plus, so if you look up 10 most played tops rn, 9 of them are hard counters. fun stuff.
@@nsreturn1365 He's not trolling because he's losing lane, he's trolling because he definitely knows better but continues to int for content. Playing illaoi and feeding like you have sion passive is just complete and utter griefing. He deserved his ban.
I love watching Baus, but "I'm just playing ranked for fun, and ruining the experience for everyone else" is unacceptabpe imho, because ranked is inherently competitive.
But he's already being punished, his elo and mmr are getting lower everytime he loses a game but he still doesn't demote because his strategy while being a coinflip in most games still has 51% winrate. And the "ruining the fun for others" doesn't apply considering that he has a higher than 50% winrate and if the strat is unfun for the enemy team or his team then it's riot fault for not nerfing the strategy, don't blame the players blame fucking riot for not nerfing such strategies because if you have higher than 50% winrate and you're playing for win then you can play yuumi jungle for all that matters
What is truly amazing me with Thebausffs is that if he is at the elo he is, with huge loose streak all the time, he necessarly have to go on an unstoppable crazy rampage of win streak to compensate. But he decide to share his loose streaks noneless, what a great lesson of humility.
The fucked up thing is he gotta tryhard and play super good to carry and win those games, only to lose to bad teams... All super hard work in vain. This is what I had to suffer as a tryndamere player
if its that 3easy why are 90% of youtube videos i see from streamers with map cover? as good players they know how important minimap is? Do they not give a fuck?
@@TheBlueFlame112 it's time consuming as all hell making a video. Doing what I said you have to download the video, crop it, put it in the same spot. It's just time consuming
Should you be banned? Absolutely no. You are the streamer with the best mentality I've ever seen. Also, you are very unique, you understand the game like no one does. You decision making is awesome, how you understand gold incomes is to admire. Thanks, I really really enjoy your content.
I've watched Baus for three years now, so don't get me wrong, I'm not really trying to "shit on him", but he definitely deserves another timeout. This is just the "Voli arc" all over again. He's absolutely running it on purpose "for the funny for the stream" and then after a few days or weeks he drops it and goes back to Sion. It's funny at first, but gets old real fast, specially if you're watching it on stream and every game is this.
i mean look state of top, when you dont pick the 5 champs, yes your gonna die a lot or sit afk under tower. and i don't think viewers would tune in if baus gets a darius matchup and watches netflix while chilling and tuning every 2 min in to clear wave
@@DiabloTommaso ??? You can ban baus with a one click and for real trolls you'd need to dig deeper. Obviosuly it's easier and they should permaban his account so he finally learns that not all champs work like sion does
i enjoy watching thebaus because he is funny and contradicts himself every second sentence. I understand he streams for a living and i assume he has to entertain a crowd for a number of hours daily. At a high skill level in a competitive game like lol you lose if you just play for fun, that is just natural. I would suggest he and everyone else who just wants fun to play normal mode, which was made for exactly that reason. He could just play a few normal games in between just to loosen up and then focus up for ranked. I am just afraid people have their self-esteem tied up in a ranking system so they forgot how to just have fun.
You put 2 totally different things together. It is one thing to have fun and have a bad score vs walking in the middle of the lane where you just died 5 times telling in stream that you know you are 100% dead walking there and then picking a fight. You are not having fun nor is anyone else in this game.
there is a difference between baus' strat and what riot bans for - riot bans for intentionally trying to lose the game, while what baus does is what he believes is the playstyle that will win him the game. Also, if people who say he is "throwing" and is a "shit player" are correct then how does he stay high elo all season?
I don't think that's how it works... riot definitely has more money to stand in court for as long as they need defending themselves. It would be a financial burden for Baus and the case wouldn't be strong i'd imagine.
Would love to see a lethality sion with heartsteel because it does ad damage, a mixed build for Sion with titanic, heartsteel and and lethality/armor pen/crit could be really good in my imagination. It does so much physical damage that scales with health, combined with lethality and new useful last whisper with anti heal for Sion could be insane damage and tankiness because of w passive and resistances from items like sunfire or gargoyle. I Personally didn’t try it yet, but if someone can make it work, for sure it’s the Bosch drill
also divine Sunderer with sunfire could be really good against tanks I think, because of the mixed penetration. Tank Sion provides a a lot of magic damage with sunfire and w! And divine provides sheen procs for splitpushing and insane turret damage
Bauffs, I don't think you should be perma banned for experimenting with the game and trying to have fun, but losing. However, I do think that if you're gonna try off meta builds that end in you losing lots of games, I'd say maybe workshop it a bit more before bringing it to ranked because some people are ACTUALLY sweaty about the game there, as you should be since, that's what ranked is for
Ultimately, it's Riot's fault imo. Sometimes I don't want to play norms because, as a jungler, I need laners who will rotate to me, who will follow up my ganks, and sometimes, I don't get that in norms, so I go to ranked.. but I don't really want to sweat either 😅 what's the solution? Voice comms. If I was in norms and I have lane prio and need my laner to rotate to me, instead of wasting clicks (in the middle of a fight, even 1 missed click can lose the fight) to try and ping something that the laner might not even understand, I can simply, hands free say "Fizz help in river" and they can immediately see it and start rotating. This way, even a Master in a game with all silvers could beat a solo queued diamond team, if they can suggest them what to do and communicate when help is needed
How do you think you can "workshop" a build if no one in the game is sweating? If everyone is just 4funning you can't use those games to tell if its any good.
@@zym6687 Normal games have MMR too lol. It isn't like Baus goes into a normals and its all Bronze players. People get sweaty in normals. Run it down in normals as AP Garen and see what your team says about you.
@@A1phaz0ne Normal games have mmr doesn't ensure anyone actually sweats in them. Assuming you've climbed, in addition to your ranked climb, your normal mmr high enough for the games to give you full master+ lobbies AND all 9 others in the game wanted to full sweat AND were solo queued, which lets be super generous and say it happens 6/10 games, the time invested is not worth it when 4/10 of the games are triple+ queued players on both teams that don't want to sweat out a game playing from behind. There's no external motivation to keep the team that is behind invested in playing to win. Even from ahead people start playing looser than they would in a ranked game since the only thing you can gain from grinding out a 40+ minute high mmr normal game is mmr and a longer queue time. Even in that very unlikely case its not worth, meanwhile the reality is the vast majority of people playing normals do so to play with their lower or unranked friends and chill, no matter how high their personal mmr might be. Using normals to test is just not useful for a 60% winrate challenger player, its like testing vs bots for a plat just completely time waste. Just going into practice tool or 1v1 in a custom game is better use of time, but its still not comparable to a 5v5 master+ game. This "just test in normals" take is like telling an NBA player with a bad outside shot to just go work on it at a pickup game at the local gym. It's not likely helpful, and likely even harmful, to use that experience to inform your game against NBA players.
Inting is literally shortened 'Intentional' so if you keep trying a strategy even if it doesn't work and you end up 0/18, if getting killed wasn't your intention then it isn't inting
Imagine getting randomed into a game with Baus. My first thought would be , "Oh brother, THIS guy STINKS". But then see somehow that top laner did well. But top lane is the scary part of town where the big and ugly bump shoulders.
Bosch Drill, honest opinion, you should just abuse tank Sion More instead of full ad/crit, pretty sure u will hit rank 1 eventually if you just play tank although it’s not as much fun! Just my gold Elo opionion though
@@Marth66666 Exactly! Entertaining to the viewer but think of the 4 others that get 30 minutes of their lives wasted because of one players selfish tendencies

I'm surprised he doesn't build Warmongs on Sion, or at least some sort of lifesteal. He wins a 1v1, has 10% hp left, but still stays and dies. Health regen should be big for him.
Should have a sketch "Guess the Elo by looking match history from the player" Pretty sure lot of people would look and think he is trolling or its low elo.
i think vs yone and other all in champs where u need to poke them down for u to do anything scorch can be better then storm has insted of 28? ad late game u get the damage early to poke (and maybe celerity can be great in some matchups like yone has well has to let u get away easier)
