Great review, very clear and covered the whole thing. I’ve been using it for a week and love it. I’m also a big fan of Waverazor. I actually quite like the flat, futuristic look of it, it’s kind of unique. Reminds me of a Star Trek console. I’d say the designers must be fans of that show too since they offer Klingon as one of the languages!
Nice synth and the little brother to WaveRazor which I've just bought. I half wish I'd bought Miniraze instead of WaveRazor. All the controls in Miniraze are exposed to the DAW so can be automated this is not the case for WaveRazor only the front UI controls are exposed and I understand why this is it's because of the sheer amount of controls WaveRazor can have. Although I do wish the controls in the editor UI would provide visual feedback when automated in the form of animation.
In this day and age of limitless softsynths fighting for everyone's attention, MOK's Miniraze (and Waverazor, for that matter) fail miserably in the "looks" department. They make plugins with interfaces that remind me of the ugly dogs that get ignored at adoption kennels - those dogs may be wonderful pets, but because of how they look, they usually get passed on. This interface suffers from a lack of contrast. And as far as the sounds go, they're pretty average. You've heard everything here before. Now, if Miniraze could also be used as a plugin effect, that would be worth it. Should you buy this then? I wouldn't.
