Do you have any suggestions for window mounted ac units for air purification/sanitation?

Hey Ryan D! Yes, depending on how many square feet the area is you can get a portable Active Purification Device for the space. Here is a link to a unit that covers up to 1500 sq ft. I personally have this one shop.ecotekpro.com/collections/air-purification You’ll love it.

Will having the UV light next to the coils kill the mycotoxins that sit on the coils when the unit is not running? Thanks

Will a UV-C light kill the mold in the upper attic of a double-wide mobile home where a leak used to be... if the light is allowed to run for a extended amount of time....

mss burr So a few things to consider. 1 is that if the concern is with possible mold growth due to water Damaged material it likely that the material should have been removed or at the very least dried out and have had an anti microbial solution sprayed to not only kill, but also act as a retardant for future mild growth. 2) is that while a uv light will most likely kill mold on the surface of the area in question if the light is shining directly on it for an extended period of time, it won’t however kill mold present in the air or areas that are outside of the light range. The further the mold is from the source of light ( bulb) the harder it is to kill. So the simple answer is yes but depends on a number of factors. My suggestion is if you see an area that is affected by mold have it removed as per IICRC guidelines and have the attic space fogged with an anti microbial solution. Hope that helps

@@ecotekpro7897 Okay, Thank you very much for the info. Now I have to find a general contractor in my area that wont try to rip me off.. Because I have 3 things that need to be done.. I live in a double wide manufactured home. 1. I need to get it re leveled... Because the sides have settle down causing a gap where the floors join together in the middle... I believe it may be leaking some from that after the recent storm... 2. I plan to put a metal roof on and earth ground the roof... 3. Replace the air conditioner because it went out lat the end of last summer... and I am in the south with 90+ degree days...lol So I am going to try to find a general contractor that can do it all... You info is well appreciated.

I am afraid to purchase an air purifier with UV sanitizer due to the danger of UV exposure to humans. It says that we should not be near the UV light and also that changing the UV bulb is very dangerous. How you will advise on it, please? I am currently searching for the best air purifier that primary is to remove mold hue in the house and all other smells. Please help with this. Thank you. Which you think is the best house air purifier to get the cleanest and healthiest air?

xoxoxov so the products that we recommend and like can be found at shop.ecotekpro.com. If you use YTair at checkout you get 10% off on products. As far as UV light exposure and the effects on humans is something that you have to do your own research and make your own decisions there. However typically the amount of UV produced in a air purification device is minimal and you don’t have direct exposure to that light because it’s typically contained within the unit. I believe that if UV exposure was really that bad medical facilities hospitals and other locations would not be using them as often as they are. I use them in my home with no issues. Hope that helps

Good Lord, you’re overexplaining the obvious. And let’s basically face it the goal is to keep the mold from growing on the indoor evaporator coil and that’s what it does very effectively which is going to get rid of most of the contaminants that are going to hurt people in the first place. How about you just make a video we’re not explaining like a fifth grader. You probably could’ve summed up this whole video in your opinion in about 30 seconds. Anyhow, great lighting on your video though maybe try the positive approach versus the negative Nancy on your next video. And here at the end of the video, you’re acting like you’re selling something extra special when you’re probably just selling a regular UVC light which automatically creates the ozone and other air cleansing agents. Oh my God people if you’re watching this, please do your research on UVC. 😂😂😂
