When it launched, I considered adding the unbelievably cool Aston Martin Vanquish Zagato Shooting Brake to my garage as the ultimate support car for the Ford GT and Senna. Join me then at Aston Martin Newport Beach for my first drive to discover the car that's limited to just 99 units and carries a $1m price tag to see what it's actually like and whether it was a mistake to pass on the chance.
@@neb4587 Also, it isn't designed by Mercedes. Aston Martin us just borrowing bits and pieces from the outgoing Mercedes models, from their last generation models. So it is still an "old" car on the inside, even if it looks more modern than the one shown in this video.
@@neb4587 Nope. Aston Martin has just borrowed components and tech from Mercedes. Mercedes did not design the interior cabin though. Not at all. Also, as I stated, the components borrowed in the newer Aston cars are in fact from outgoing Mercedes models (same screens and tech as their old series cars from their last generation (not the new ones with the dual screen panels and tech).
@@neb4587 big difference. The made the screens, and the technology behind it.. but they didn't design the parts that it sits in and around it, as well as the rest of the interior (buttons, center console, seats, steering wheel etc. etc. etc.).
nice foreshadowing but you aren't fooling anyone we all know the video will come in 3weeks or so, I already I know the title "I just bought an Aston Martin Vanquish Zagato Shooting Brake" with you in those wonderful shorts of yours crouching next to the car for the thumbnail.
@@texas3258 I don't think you understood my comment. These were somewhat affordable when new. I believe they started at around £350k. But they all sold out very quickly. Now all the ones on the second hand market have an astronomically high selling price.
Saw one of these in my town in Northamptonshire uk back in February. It was parked on the road outside a house and I was jaw on floor moment at how gorgeous it was.
The exterior design is stunning, very futuristic but the interior doesn't look a million dollars super car, the steering wheel is so simple no Wow factor but it drives and sounds great. The side angle looks like a Lusso.
Why wud some1 dislike such a nice car and a outstanding video ?????? ... Shmee you have got so many of us waiting for your visit to India ( Mumbai ) soon ... Great respect for you for showing some real cars 💪.... Some of them actually the best cars in the world ... Wish you more success in the cuming years ... stay blessed and keep us glued to your channel by uploading such amazing videos ! Have a nice day ! 👍😇
Conor everything was correct until u said depreciate these cars are limited production and will only go up in price, that’s does mean tho that u wouldn’t wanna our miles on whereas a gtc4lusso u would actually use
You are such a hard work youtuber. You put your dedication into making the best RU-vid videos and we all as a community would like to thank you for doing a beyond AMAZING job. Keep up the great work ❤️
The rear end looks like a scuplture. The convex and concave shapes are so expressive, it looks like a concept car. Also, this bodystyle being so rare makes it even more special to me.
Absolutely enjoying every installment of your US tour this time around. This was quite an amazing stop for you to make to show us a stunning car Tim. Thank you so much. Given your popularity, next time would you consider announced fan meetings with perhaps car meets or track days mixed in?
Even though the title ends with a question mark it is hardly a question. If there the option to buy it, they answer is a solid yes. What a beautiful car.
Beautiful exterior, absolutely love shooting brakes. Whats going on with the interior? Love the carbon at the back but the dash and wheel is hideous. I think they should have made that carbon tray to pull out so far to gain easy access.
Such a lovely car. I think Zagado is hit or miss with me on all their collaborations with the exception of Zagado Astin Martins; they always seem to work together beautifully.
The thing is, its absolutely gorgeous no doubt about it. I cant help but compare it to your GTC4 Lusso, and with the Lusso youre getting the "shooting brake" version from Ferrari, it also looks incredible, sounds incredible and all that. Lusso or even at the time the FF is way better for the price and way more practical, youd have made a mistake I think.
Love the shooting brake styling. The Callaway Corvette Aerowagen with the SC757 package is still my all-time favorite dream car, but this Vanquish Zagato is incredible looking and probably #2 of my favorites now. Although, the Aerowagen is actually relatively pretty feasible as a goal for me, I can't even dream of obtaining one of only 99 of these beauties.
I love pretty much everything about the latest Astons (except the tech or tiny entertainment display. Exterior design & seats always look great! Plus they have those awesome engines!
I see you're considering taking my advice regarding getting a wagon. If you end up passing on the Zagato, I still have that '98 V70 Cross Country available... for the right price.
If you have such high expectations don't buy the car, even if you can. Just remember it as a thing of beauty, which is all that is. A really nice video
Dang dang dang... that is my car. If I end up in heaven, you can catch me on Bless You Dr, cruising along in one of these absolute beauties... an absolute dream!
Absolutely. This is a spaceship! The design is ahead of it's time, just like the Aston Martin Lagonda Taraf. This will be extremely collectible 20 years from now.
Hey Tim, I would love to see you buy that Aston Martin Zagato Shooting Brake...It looks Amazing and will for sure add a bit more character to the Garage..Cheers on that✌
Never heard a howling like that in one of your videos. Think the FF is still enjoyable as it also sounds so good. Enjoy them before more gets electrified.
That aston looked very good in your garage but as you said at that time you have the senna and the Gt on order and having those two cars in comparison to this buying those was the smart choice
Outside, a work of art and that engine is amazing! The interior, plain and boring, and ruins or at least takes away too much from the good points. It’s such an exclusive automobile that the interior should have been scaled up!
