If you get something close to your money back over time its not the end of the world and 2bh i think you will if your prepared to slog it out listing the fiver stuff once the good stuff has gone On the plus side your experience made an entertaining video and taught a lot of people a valuable lesson 😊 Keep grafting and learning fella and have a great evening 👍
Exactly I only need to sell each item for £2 each to make my money back 🤷🏽♂️ some items have already sold for about £15 so that helps. Thanks for the comment and the support. Means a lot 😅
Bit of a gamble buying someone's eBay shop. I got one that paid of recently I bought 200 WII games and 10 WII consoles + shed loads of accessories for 261. It was a hour drive away to Blackpool, but when i got there I had a good thorough 15 min look through the stuff. In the end in one week Ive made my money back and still got all the consoles and 150+ games. We all do some bad deals. At the carboot I got excited on Sunday and bought 6 "untested" xbox one consoles for 40 quid of the same guy, got home 5 dont work! Live and learn!
Yeh exactly mate 👍🏽in the reselling game you win some and you lose some. Great pick up 👌🏽shame about the Xbox’ though. I’m sure you can still sell them though 👍🏽
Stick the Skechers in the washing machine - they come up great - the granny shoes do well on eBay - not so much Vinted - if they are hotter, Padders etc they get decent money as they usually come in extra wide sizes.
Thanks alot ahaha. I feel bad for calling them granny shoes but they are 😂tomorrow I’m going to crack on and list a lot of stuff. Skechers are very clean now 👍🏽👍🏽
For all the stuff that you don't want and is not worth putting up on Ebay, especially clothes and shoes, just bundle them up and stick them up facebook market place. I've literally put a picture of a bin bag on there and said 'Mixture of men's clothes' £25 quid and it flies. Yes you might lose money but stuff is going to take months on months to sell and once you add fees you'll make a quid here and there.
I’ve been selling old stuff from my daughter and my mum and it’s surprising what stuff sometimes sells. If I think something is a nice item I stick it up for money even a lot more than comps and sometimes it pulls off. Some stuff I think is rubbish flies off the shelf on vinted so it’s all a gamble.
Like you say , you live and learn , just make sure you get photographs of all the stuff before you part with your money , bet the blokes laughing he’s head off
I asked for a list of everything there. Read through it all! Looked decent. When I got there the stuff I looked through was half decent so I just packed it all up. Big surprise the next day though when I unpacked it 😅
Really entertaining video, you didn’t have to show us your errors /mistakes so good on you for being upfront and honest showing the good and the bad of eBay selling, keep it up x
I once bought four bags of clothes from FB for 20 quid and it was rubbish , we took it back and got my money back. Shoes flake when weather damage is stored in a shed, best not to sell ❤
Good vlog such a shame some of it is just pure tat should maybe flog it all at a carboot & claw back some of the money you paid out...& Maybe next time you get a deal like this take the time to go through some of the stuff 🤔
The answer to your question is NO- your videos are entertaining and I particularly enjoy you sharing items you don’t pick up and why. Also Chloe brightens up your content. All that said paying for a fellow trader’s dead stock isn’t a great business model! You’ve just got to the bit where realisation hits- you’re correct- a learning experience-albeit an expensive one!! Also , grammar police - “Chloe and I “ not “Me and Chloe” Keep grinding!! 😛😞
Hello David. Thanks for the nice comment. I’ll try and be better next time with my grammar 😂yes I thought at the time the stock would be good. But, maybe he just needed a clear out to start fresh ? I facilitated that for him lol 😂oh well we all make mistakes ayy
“If I’m being honest”I really enjoyed that video, quite comical to see your excitement turn into regret, you’ll make the majority of your money back I’m sure, well done for doing an honest video, we all get excited over deals and make mistakes, a great lesson learned and shared, keep at it 👍
