Hi sir, I'm AIR 494 I'm confused between AIIMS Jodhpur and lower Delhi IPU colleges. I've visited them, and AIIMS certainly has way better infrastructure/hostels, and overall facilites. But I'm afraid if leaving IPU quota for pg would be a mistake. (I'm from Ajmer, Rajasthan)

BHU le yaar..... Trust me..... Don't even think about any other colleges..... If someone is getting BHU or IPU, it's literally a crime for him or her to even think about other colleges.... The internal reservation of BHU just overtakes the pros of other medical colleges....

@@VedRicha go for AIIMS easily. You have worked hard and you deserve a college which at least have fans in rooms(pmch don't have it😂). Trust me the infrastructure is the worst there and that's why from students to proffs all are frustrated here(hence the ragging is severe to take out their frustration). Go for AIIMS or you will regret for the rest of your life
I am from one of the new 2019 AIIMS (AIIMS Kalyani) and it is already worth it to join here Hostels, academics, exposure and facilities are really worth to leave my hometown OPD is functioning with 1300-1400/day IPD will be functional by december Rest everything is completed and infra is damn beautiful!
Exactly bhaiya I am from Kolkata and I was also confused between Aiims Bhubaneswar and Medical College Kolkata. I did some research found MCK is good but Aiims BBSR is a overall better option.
all medical colleges rank same for MBBS... if you wanna be a great dr., it's upon you... better choose the medical clg near from your home incase you need to choose... else having comparisons between medical college is lame
There is no way Aiims Bhubaneswar's beating MCK or even IPGMER Calcutta for that matter of fact . Even though Bhubaneswar's very good but do think can't match the level of these two colleges especially IPGMER for the patient load and also considering all other aspects.

I'm a student of IGIMS, Patna 2021 batch and I can vouch that there is no such episode of ragging at our college. Only interactions happen which happen almost in every other govt. medical clg of India.
Then what about recent ragging case in IGIMS PATNA ...,as per as i have read in newspaper , first year girl was ragged by their senior in clg...? What's your take on this.

But what about someone looking for surgical subjects like orthopaedic, is it Better to choose central institute over own state medical College? I think hands on is more in state College when it comes to surgical subject like orthopaedic, Obgy.. I have seen that My seniors (1st yr pgt) doing all the staffs, after just passing 3,4 months. Even I did a caesarian section in my internship as S1 & assisted near about 45 CS 😂,.. If you don't get much exposure & hands on then, what u will do after taking that degree from renowned institute, Afterall to operate a surgery in any private set up on your own, all u need is confidence & from where it will came...?.of course by doing as many cases in our pg time,. I think this point also matter if your are planning to opt for surgical subjects. 🙏🙏

Only being old doesn’t mean better for legacy, mck’s infrastructure is not at all comparable with Aiims and the central colleges it’s the fault of W. B govt. I myself took aiims Raipur over mck because mck can’t provide you a life except for studying no campus beauty and nothing. For a journey of 5.5 yrs along with studying many a things are required that are present in aiims but not in Mck.
I want to clear one thing is that if someone who live in Nagpur city and confused between AIIMS Nagpur and GMC Nagpur i would suggest you GMC Nagpur because if you choose AIIMS Nagpur it doesn't matter you live in same city or not you have to live in hostel unnecessarily and there are many rules and regulations in the college itself and much more to feel you bad and go for GMC instead of AIIMS home is home no mess food and hostel can be compared to it even though it has a tag of being an AIIMSONIAN thankyou 🙏🏻
Well, it’s valid only for those who are in Nagpur. Consider a person in MP/Chattisgarh. Would your answer stay the same? AIIMS Nagpur then would have 1. Better Infra 2. Better hostels 3. Internal PG quota(after last year) 4. AIIMS Tag 5. No bond (vs 1 year in GMC Nagpur) Also, how is the academics in GMC vs AIIMS? That also matters.
Like I said Take a decision based on 1. Bond 2. PG quota 3. Infrastructure 4. Academics 5. Location Don’t just go for AIIMS tag or the reputation of an old institute. GMC Nagpur is the better choice for someone from Nagpur . Maybe not so for someone from MP/Chattisgarh.

It's a huge misconception that harsh ragging occurs in top medical colleges of Bihar. Aisa kuch nahi hai. We have a strict anti ragging team here in IGims. We do have a healthy interaction with our seniors I am a 2021 batch student in IGIMS PATNA

Hello sir , big fan . wanting to ask a question. If you do have a knowledge could you advice which college to take , GMCH ( Guwahati Medical College and Hospital) or AIIMS Guwahati . GMCH is the top college of our state whereas the AIIMS Guwahati is relatively newer . AlsoOPD has not been opened yet IN AIIMS but infrastructure is good in there .

There is no such scene of ragging in IGIMS, Patna. I'm a student of 2021 batch of IGIMS Patna. It's just a positive interaction and nothing else tbh. Isse bura haal Delhi k clgs ka hai as far as ragging is concerned.

I'm a big fan of your's and a 2nd yr mbbs student from Medical College Kolkata...In one of your videos you told 90% lectures of Pathology , physiology etc did not happen even in Aiims Delhi.But in our college , they do happen...The kind of senior-junio relationship we have here can hardly be found anywhere else....the New boys Hostel of our's is far better from many medical college hostels....and related to academics , Dr.Amartya Sengupta topped INICET and Neet pg last year and Dr.Soumyadeep Dutta , Inicet air 3 from MCK itself.....then How can you consider Aiims Bhubaneshwar over MCK?Only for the tags....?
Aiims bhubaneswar is 12" batch aiims, after aiims D it's ranked 2nd or 3rd along with aiims jodhpur . And the academics is just as good as MCK if not better. Plus the stipend and internal quota . Clearly it's ahead of Mck bro . And academics is something which cannot be objectively compared so for all practical purposes one should prefer aiims b over MCK . Baaki personal preference hai

GMC Chandigarh vs AIIMS Bhopal vs AIIMS Jodhpur? I live near Delhi but don't have Delhi State Quota. All these colleges are almost equidistant from my home. NDMC Delhi is also an option.

Where Great Faculty from other renowned AIIMS will be teaching where Teacher to Student Ratio is Awesome and you will get High end good Clinical and Surgical Skills hands on Experience ..... Hello i was also confused whether shud i go for grant clg or AIIMS Patna but due to 1 yr bond and also a 5 yr foreign bond turned my mind away from Maharashtra. Btw I secured 1312 air and iam also from Patna but don't wanna spend another 5 yrs in Patna...but the campus of AIIMS Patna is top notch but it is a bit far off from the main city . Hey , in my opinion u should choose AIIMS Patna And the comments made by Dr.Aditya is for state medical Colleges of Patna & not for AIIMS . So don't worry or panic . I think these points will help u decide why to choose AIIMS over state colleges, especially well established 2012 opened ones. 1) AIIMS tag 2) No rural bond 3)world class infrastructure of AIIMS 4)Hostel- best part( single room in which u can do customization) 5) Diversity of Students present means good personality development 6) Academics- very good 7)Fee- Rs5856 for whole 5.5yrs 8) Research - AIIMS always promote research for it's students with ample facilities 9) Student strength per batch is also less ,only 125 - so easy to learn in practical classes 10 ) Internship amt- Rs 26k
Aiims rajkot has really good academics than bjmc ahmedabad in which syllabus itself is not completed sometimes but pateint load of aiims rajkot is not great how should I choose between this 2 contradicting factors ?( I don't want to consider location factor )

BJ has patient load more than aiims delhi because of more than 7000 bed hospital but very very bad in academics like they haven’t completed syllabus of biochemistry in first year and there are no guidance in clinical posting u have to ask and do but has good alumini network that’s make it strong college but u can choose baroda medical college because it has exceptional good faculty and decent patient load if u prefer gujarat

AIIMS nagpur is a very recent one and doesn't have all the clubs , no USMLE accreditation (because not a single pass out batch yet ) , and is soo outside the nagpur city.

Take new AIIMS over state colleges ..mbbs is a really long course.. 2012 AIIMS have developed to become the best health centres within 10-11 years ... The newer AIIMS are developing at the same rate ...by the time you reach your 3/4th year.. they might be of level of 2012 AIIMS no doubt.
Ya right, go for delhi /mumbai clg > aiims 2012 > state top clg > others old clg > leftovers. My AIR 2655 and I will go my state top clg, PMCH, Bihar top college.
Don't go for it brother it's not a good college. Ranking doesn't decides the college is good or bad. It is having a poor quality in academics and low level infrastructure. My friend choosed it and now having a bad time. You should choose aiims if you get according to your rank or good college of other state according to AIQ 15% quota. Iam currently in Aiims Rishikesh and the academics and infrastructure is top class

Chandigarh is a beautiful city. And if you live there, no questions just close eyes and take it. At the very least you will be near your family and can go home whenever you want. Also there is no bond in Chandigarh. Also apply for PGI Chandigarh, heard they will be starting MBBS course this year as well. It's as good as Aiims and is also a central institute
