@@AFRICANTIGRESSbell AT, you can simply Google the black messiah makandal, and click on RU-vid on the PBS channel so you can learn about Francois makandal if you like. also, neg maron was our maroon leader
@@AFRICANTIGRESSfor men, neg means negro. and for women, it's negress. we haitian's sometime referred to God as neg anle' a, which means the negro above
@@AFRICANTIGRESS "Chronicles of a Zoe" is a Haitian channel, that can give real incites into the current and past Haitian politics and current affairs. I highly recommend her channel, to understand the complex nature of Haiti and its people.
Haiti possesses a unique and distinct character that is difficult to articulate precisely. However, I would describe it as having an organic quality that permeates its landscape and culture.
I haven't visited Africa or Australasia yet (other than Dubai), but in my travels to some 50 countries, there are 2 places where I most strongly felt a vibration of freedom. One is Independence Hall in Philadelphia. The other is in the mountains of northern Haiti.
It's awful how they lied on Haiti it's such a beautiful place the ppl are authentic by like in other Caribbean islands where they don't have to bow to tourist dollars ❤
The beauty of the Caribbean, from Trinidad and Tobago and Guyana all the way up the chain of islands to Haiti, and Cuba, is a sight to behold. Even with their many issues we love our home countries and we are so glad that you are enjoying yourself there AT.
Hello! My name is Maryse. I followed you on RU-vid all the time you were in Haiti. I don't know how to thank you for loving my country so much. I visited Haiti through you. I saw things and so many places that I had no idea were so beautiful. Allow me to tell you that you have a special place in my heart for loving MY COUNTRY so much. I subscribed to your channel and I will continue to follow it. May God bless you.
Listen! How and why haven't the world been privy to the wonders and beauty of this amazing country? Thank you, thank you, thank you African Tigress! Your showcase of our Caribbean neighbour Haiti is nothing less than a Godsend. I truly believe Haiti will rise again! ❤❤❤
It's not just the ones hosting her. Haitians are among the most hospitable people you'll find anywhere in the world. A person needs to spend the night and you don't have a guest room? They get your bed, even if that means you sleep on a chair or on a blanket on the floor.
Cap Haitian has the same housing architecture as New Orleans. After the revolution in 1809, thousands of whites and free blacks went to Louisiana. It added to the culture of that area such as Mardi Gras, food ect. Many black and white New Orleanians trace their roots to Haiti. If Cap Haitian had the economic investment necessary, it would rival New Orleans in architecture but would go beyond because of all the historical sites in the area. Thanks! AT for showing my country in its true form!
Cap- Haïtien is my home town. I stayed there until I was 18. I remembered Growing up how this town was beautiful used to be the cleanest city in Haiti. We used to have electricity 24/24 Tourist used to come twice a week big big boat this town was very busy the economy was booming I was Very happy there. After the Duvalier left corrupt politicians destroyed everything and the rest is history. It’s painful to see us haïtien failing to do what is right for our country 😢
Bonjour AFRICAN TIGRESS from NYC. with every video I'm more amazed, it feels like rediscovering a place I was born and grew up in.. last time I was home was 2018. I've always known my country is beautiful but a million thanks for showing the rest of the world a part of LA PERLE DES ANTILLES. ❤
You need to look up other Caribbean history ,we all had an uprising we all had to fight to be free but Haiti was the longest even Grenada had Revolution we all came from West Africa
Hello African Tigress, how are you today? I see you're really enjoying yourself in the northern part of Haiti. And I must say thank very much for showing me and the rest of the world such beautiful places of Haiti! Now, I really want to take a trip to Cap Haitien, there are so much to do and to learn there, all thanks to you.
A good video! Haïti is beautiful! Thank you for sharing. This is the place that the media don't show the world bout Haïti. I hope you enjoy your time over there 😂❤👍🏽
African Tigress's spectacular success in integrating seamlessly into Haitian culture and customs reminds me of Wodemaya's amazing success in Suriname. Haitians and Surinamese are among the best of the Caribbean family. I am Guyanese.
Hello African Tigress, I am glad seeing you so happy enjoying yourself in HAYTI. Emperor Jean Jacques Dessalines is the father of Liberty and the Great Nation that we are. 🎉❤
@AfricanTigress, Haiti is your home. Remember, you come from the roots to visit us. We, Haitian people are full of love to give to everyone, specifically Africa. Enjoy your stay. And, you'll be well protected, at all times.
Another epic content creation of Haiti. By your administration of the country I think more visitors will travel to experience the beauty of the country. Your interview was very well presented with the owner. Very knowledgeable information. May you continue to enjoy your visit and stay safe. Blessings.🎉❤
Another great episode. Thank you AfricanTigress. @34:20 Mr Panel is amazing. His property is superbe. I would love to stay there in Haiti. And what a kind gentleman he is.
Wow! AT has just outdone herself on this one. Your vlogs are out of this world. You love Haiti and Haitians love you more for showing the positive side of such a beautiful place. By the way, your creol is getting better and better. If you spend 3 more months in Haiti, I believe you’ll be able to have a full conversation in creol with the locals.❤
❤️ thank for visiting this beautiful place I saw it on time but the RU-vidr didn’t mention the name of the hotel I hope I will visit this place I love it. Love you God bless you
You having fun I always watching your channel on my television not on my tablet I like your videos every where you go to Haiti I watch it,I'm from Haiti to,nice video 🌹
Another epic presentation. Your interview provided with the owner was very informative and provided additional information about the area you are visiting. It brought back memories to me when I visited Labadee. I think visitors will start returning to Haiti. Outstanding work you are doing to promote the tourism of the country. Be safe and blessed for continued success in your work.❤❤❤🎉
I’m glad the owner is not one of the monsters 👹. Great place and he did a fantastic job ❤👏👏. Another great video African Tigress keep them coming, Haiti love you ❤😘 😊
@@Sonny-me9ne Actually I haven’t yet lol, but I always wanted to visit Haiti for years (since I was a teen, I’m in my 30s now), But I’ve always looked at videos/documentaries in various parts of Haiti.. Okap or Northern Haiti just seems to have more positive energy
Kalipsoisland, you do know the French used to take enslaved haitian's to Trinidad plantation right? that's the reason our creole is still well preserved in part of tobago
Each video is getting better than the last one. You are going to see a lot haitians going back to visit, even to stay. I am definitely going to plan a trip.
Sometimes I scare myself at how predictable my words are. In your last video I was talking about the resting place of the Santa Maria and the first European settlement being in Haiti. Well, Mr. Parnel said the exact same thing, didn’t he? AT my sister, keep pushing. You have a lot more thing to show the doubters about Haiti. After you go to Labadie, if possible take a little stroll in Fort Liberte. ❤
She’d have to marry a Ayisyen men, live in the country for atleast 5+ years and then become a citizen before she can actually own land and partake in political things such as voting etc. It’s in our constitution. I would love to have her there as well 🥰
I'm confident that if she spends more time and continues being unafraid to make errors, African Tigress will be conversational in Kreyòl in a couple of months, fluent within a year.
