With all respect you gave no sound reason why a person cant stay on it longterm. 1000's die each year from doctor recommended prescriptions drugs....no one ever died of berberine. In Indian this is a regular part of the diet. Take if with food if it upsets the stomach.
I take it and it is working for me my sugar craving went down and I been taking now about four five mouths and I do notes belly fat going down. but slow losing the weight. YES ! thanks for putting this video out for us that wants to know long term
Been using Berberine since July 2020, and it has changed my life. I used to have weird blood sugar fluctuations and mood swings, etc. They went away about a week after I began taking it. No side effects so far. If I stop taking it, the crazy mood swings come back. I've been dealing with it my whole life, so I'm afraid to stop taking it.
Do you think maybe you have sibo? Small intestinal bacterial overgrowth. Or parasites or yeast? I think i used to have mood swings too n would get angry easily. After taking berberine black walnut hills wormwood allicin coconut oil oil of oregano i noticed i was much calmer. And whats your diet like? Maybe the foods you eat fed the bad gut bacteria. I know i wasn't calm ais i am now when i used to eat fast food. I recommend keto diet. You should watch dr berg on youtube talking about how bad padta n white bread n rice are. N maybe do a heavy metals detox slowly using bentonite clay n cilantro
@@aacc2216 wow i guess i am overdue for a good health check. my diet is mostly vegan (1 meal with cheese every 2 weeks or so), no sugar, lots of omega 3 and olive oil, no fastfood at all and only full grain stuff. doint IF (often even only 1 meal instread of 2 meals a day) and currently on my 5 day fasting streak.
I reversed NAFLD & insulin resistance with berberine & keto. Took for 2 years @ 3x daily, the one thing I found with longterm is that my insulin went too low & got a strong heart beat where I stopped for 6 months (gained 15lbs) and NAFLD/IR began to rise and now resuming again.
I’m a type 1 diabetic. Have significantly lowered my insulin needs since incorporating berberine. I take 600 mg three times a day. Still experimenting as can cause low blood sugar. Have to start with lower dose than I am used to.
Why not just take it with probiotics or just eat fermented foods (kimchi, sauerkraut, yogurt, etc).. The unknown long term issue (if even an issue) would be solvedno?
Restricting calories doesn't work. Do healthy keto and intermittent fast and you will get healthy and lose weight and fix insulin resistance!! Berberine will help!
Not necessarily true. My A1c shot up after a decade of low carb then transitioned to keto past 3 years. Also was intermittent fasting.. stopped all that and finally blood glucose is coming down. Still low carb but not keto. ♥️
I became very ill while on Metformin. I have insulin resistance and high fasting insulin. I have been on berberine for 2 years. And still doing well. But maybe a break from it would be a good idea. My endocrinologist hasn't recommended a break.
@@noformstyle yes. I took a break for a couple of months. I read that you need to do that once in a while. but I am back on it. However. Watching my diet does makes a big difference.
@@carolradovich7906 thanks for sharing your experiences. I took it for a few months then stopped and have recently started again, occasionally my digestive system reacts against it and causes a flush through but generally good.
Taking a Berberine complex, which has fenugreek, gynema and cinnamon and so far it's working great. Seems to feel like a step up for me, I still need sugar prior to my long runs, but all other times I'm on if and keto. Don't like taking Metformin, too many side effects.
I check supplements regularly by kinesiology. I think it s a good way to find out if something is beneficial . The dose makes the poison as malnutrition is a problem / we can fall towards both sides of a horse
What about this medical study “ Mitochondria and NMDA Receptor-Dependent Toxicity of Berberine Sensitizes Neurons to Glutamate and Rotenone Injury” that cited that Berberine is a neurotoxin?
My Doctor refuses to look into berberine He says go to a naturopath dr Look else where Which I can not afford.I have learned on you tube is because I take Bi polar med the berberine will cause a slow release of my medication which can’t be good. for the kidney or liver .Can you make a talk on that.On you tube about this? II was told to take berberine 3 months then stop with one month off.Thank you. Mary.
@@melyssa528 not that, usually eating a high carb meal might give you crash, like you want to sleep. So he means that when taking berberine with the high carb meal, he doesn't crash after - which is a positive thing.
Hi, Thaks for the information! I have Epilepsy and taking Lamictal. Can I take Berberine? I also have Cerebellar Atrophy and want to help my brain. Thanks!
1. Should I take 1,000 mg. OR 1,200 mg. Of Berberine ? 2. Is there one product that is better than other. 3. The Berberine worked well on me for about 4 days, but No More. WHY ?
@@mgray999 . My sugar level was still high this morning . I am so discouraged. But, I am going to continue using this particular brand, which is 1MD Glucose. The other brand was 600 mg twice a day. This is 500 mg. twice a day.
But if you taking them to control your sugar if you stop it then you should just going to go back up again well how come you don't do what high blood pressure medicines and diabetes medicine 3 months on in one month off she tell that doctor they'll tell you you can't do that
Prescription medicine technically prevents death and other severe side effects thats why your not allowed to stop taking it. Berberine is a food. Technically you should find a prebiotic that works for your issues and take them with healthy fats to balance your microbiome.
What about poor absorption? I’m seeing recommendations to take 1 tablespoon of coconut oil or olive oil? Is that once or each time you take verberões? Can someone help me in the right direction? Thanks
A new Lipid Berberine is now available from Renue By Science. The caps are 125 mg and much more bioavailable than non lipid powers. I take one cap a day.
Back in early 2000s I was taking raspberry key tones. But found that my A-1 C shot up to a 10. Then looked up comments other people have made about raspberry Keytone’s and they also said that made their A1c shoot high. But I really began to lose weight, so the question is will the A1c be a false read from the raspberry Keytone’s? Is there a certain methodology for taking raspberry Keytone‘s that would not cause the A1c to go high?
Hello I have a question I have Pcos, diabetes and high blood pressure. I take metformin, levo thyroid and amlodopine. Is it safe for me to take berberine ? Thank you.
They act on similar mechanisms, so I would talk to your doctor. Doctor might not like you dipping into his cut, so keep that in mind. Taking both is like taking two anti inflamitories. I would cut the metformin and take the berberine for a bit while monitoring yourself. Nootropics depot has quality supplements. Make sure that always get from a quality source.
Hi, I've been taking berberine for a year now at first I was diagnosed with pre-diabetic so dr prescribed me metmorfin plus I've been on Lisinopril and Amlodipine fot a few years and I've been trying to go in the natural way so I've tried Berberine and it works and I went to do my bloodwork 3 months later and dr said that I'm clean so I've been taking 1 capsule every day with my breakfast and I started taking Nitric Oxide organic beet roots and it works for my hbp so it works for me I'm 55 now and I have to watch what I eat avoid all bad carbs and eat healthy as simple is that. I also take Alpha Lipoic Acid 600 alone with Bitter Melon I haven't had any problems with prediabetic results in one year. This is from my own personal experience and always check your blood pressure it is a very dangerous thing so be careful on what you do with your health. Always keep yourself updated with your doctor. Good luck!
