We broke up because he was severly avoidant and couldn't/wouldn't communicate. This made the relationship hard also we had just turned long distance . Everything seemed too much at the moment. We tried staying friends but that didn't work because there was remnant feelings. So we went full no contact. So whats the best strategy to get back a healthy relationship coach? He is a good perosn and of we work on our issues together i think the relationship will be good
What would be your opinion if she broke up with me but then the last time we saw each other it ended with her being very hostile, with both of us to blame (her actions upset me immensely and I ended up cancelling a planned event while face to face). I sent a christmas card just saying "hope you're doing well", I felt like I needed to at least extend some goodwill to show that I don't have any hate for her, thus giving her the option to contact me if she wants. I think that's as far as I should go. If she doesn't respond, at least now I know there wasn't anything more I could really do as far as signaling that she's welcome to talk. I can also see that she's almost always the first person to view my story on snapchat whenever I (rarely) have posted over this last month. She suggested taking a break before the breakup, and of course I was shocked and turned it into a mess. This time I was the one to suggest a month of no contact which is what caused her to be upset and do the thing that hurt me. It's been very messy and painful, but I think sending a card was the right move...

I did send a polite happy birthday message and I don’t regret it. For my situation I think it was the right thing to do. I like how you addresses in this video that there are some cases why you should. For me I think it was the right thing to do. Maybe it set him back further from ever missing me or feeling the loss/ but maybe he was never going to miss me or want me back anyway? I rather look like a bigger person and send a polite birthday message and wish him well. I did not make it an emotional or engaging message that looked like an attempt to reconnect. I just said “Happy birthday I wish you happiness and success” He responded within minutes and said thank you. I had asked him not to contact me anymore unless it is important 45 days before his birthday and he has sent me a breadcrumb “feeler” message at 30 days I ignored. In some ways I feel like my happy birthday message was a breadcrumb for him🤔 Hours later he sent another message saying he thinks of me and my family often and hopes we are well. I didn’t respond, and I don’t think he wanted a response honestly. I think his message was to make himself feel like a good person and not feel guilty. I am sure he wasn’t lonely on his birthday or missing me. I think he left me for someone else and he won’t tell me. (He broke up with me a year and a half ago so I am sure he is dating someone else now) He still pays for things for me though its weird. We were together for so long and he has to pay his ex wife a lot more so he feels the right thing to do is to continue to help keep me in a more comfortable position. Maybe he wants to keep me on the back burner? I don’t know what he is doing anymore but I still think my birthday message was good for where things are at now. I don’t want to look bitter and I do appreciate that he still pays for things for me. I wish he would be honest with me that he is with someone else, but I really don’t know what his dating/ relationship status is. This is just what I think.

It sounds like breaking up was a good idea but you are second guessing it because of anxiety. I would stick to your choice and not send it. Remember why you broke up.
I would really just want to wish her a happy birthday. We were not together on her birthday last year but shortly after her birthday we got together, she was there for me on my birthday and I actually want to be there for her on her birthday. We broke up like January 12 and her birthday is next week. Idk if she has already moved on and if she did I actually believe it’s just a rebound but I haven’t moved on yet cause its not even 2 months that we have broken up

@@colezesiger We are currently in an LDR for 2 months. She's in Canada now to study and I'm left here in the Philippines. I used to think that she will moved on already because of the distance we have and I don't know if we can get back together. I find it hard to believe because we're going to celebrate our 6 yrs together next month and she's been only away for 2 months, it pains me to think that he can throw our relationship instantly. Lately she confess that she only love me because of what I've done for her and she doesn't see herself to fall for my personality, and I was doubting the love that I received for almost 6 yrs if that was a true genuine love.

Most people who are going to reach out so within 6 months. I wouldn’t reach out for her birthday because that could be the time she misses you. So I wouldn’t miss that chance. But if another month passes and nothing you can reach out.
