We've already covered short-pinned slicker brushes, but how about short-pinned pin brushes? When you’re looking for a pin brush for your show dog, consider the length of your dog’s coat and thus the length of pin you need on a pin brush. The general rule of thumb? The shorter the coat, the shorter the pin. For shorter coats, opt for a short pin (such as 25mm or less).
