The way all of them played on a Thursday night the whole damn team needs to return!!

A majority of them should return because they are not ready to play against NBA players and their defense was bad.

All the Freshman not projected should come back and more importantly Calipari must make this his number one priority. He wont get them all but 2 or 3 seems plausible. If he's too proud to re-recruit his players and they go to Gleague or transfer out that's on him and he should be let go. Also, Reed Sheppard is literally the only lottery pick level player that i'd ever think you could convince to come back for a sophmore season. He's so marketable that he could become the highest earning NIL athlete in CBB since the rules changed. And his unique legacy, he probably the only guy growing up who dreamed of leading a team to a national championship vs every the way every othe player dreams of going to the NBA.

No way Bradshaw or Wagner go in the first round

Wagner and Bradshaw for sure. Edwards if he doesn’t go in the lotto. Same for Big Z. Sheppard if he wants to be a legend. Theiro should come back. They all need to get stronger. They need to get the center from Rutgers.

They all need to work on their defense they all should come back. Start a new trend at Kentucky like players at Duke do. Show the same loyalty to the school and the fans that have been shown to the players. Buck the trends and get that experience and develope to increase their NBA stock options

Now with the NIL money, there's not as big of a rush to get to the NBA. Returning for at least one more year, in my opinion, would definitely be an option.

Reed Sheppard should definitely take a lot more shots next year, but he needs work on his dribbling and ball protection. Too many turnovers.

Rob is the only one that’s NBA ready. Even Reed could use another year at UK to get stronger. DJ is gonna run it back. Let’s goooooo!!

All of them could benefit from another year, but I think Rob will enter the NBA draft.

Cal doesn't get these guys to the NBA. They would go anyway. Get reeves or Canada or Watkins to the league. All these other guys are going no matter who they play for in college. Cal just piggybacking off these guys

If you can be drafted by NBA, go for it. That's once in a lifetime window, if you get injured your done. Otherwise, stick around on same team we all want to see a do over.

Wagner needs an outside shot. Most of his 40% FG% is from layups. A very low outside shooting %. Bradshaw didn't show much in games. He is thin and would get pushed around in the NBA. Edwards was overrated. Showed little improvement as a starter. Good potential, but inconsistent.

My alma mater and state team was so disappointed when you lost to Oakland lol I loved the set of Wildcats in 2024

Wagner, Edwards, and Bradshaw were overrated coming into this freshman year. Yes, each had spurts of excellent play, but none of them were consistent. In fact, all of them were very inconsistent. They won't get drafted, or may get a chance to play in the G League. Dillingham and Sheppard should have been starters. Both were pretty consistent during the season, but often showed signs of poor playing - turnovers, bad passing, poor defense. All of these players should stay or go play somewhere else. Probably the transfer portal for Edwards , Wagner, and Bradshaw.

Id say all but Reed and Rob should, but i doubt they do. We have new freshmen coming in that need to get playing time so they can get drafted.

Remember skal back in 15 16 ? Going into season he was the top prospect like wagner. He was really bad and still got drafted 😢

I would take Reed, Big Z, Edwards, Ugonna, and DJ back. I’d tell Bradshaw that he’s 3rd on the depth chart and if he’s not happy with that, hit the road. I’d fly out and meet with every recruit personally and tell them how hard I am to get the guys over them back and how hard I’m about to be going after portal guys. Then I’m hitting the portal for two shooting guards/wings to replace Reeves and Rob. Then I’d get a physical big to train Big Z and Ugonna against. And if he’s better, he starts. For every one of Reed, DJ, Big Z, and Edwards that leave I’d replace with a portal guy.

Not many of them will be selected in first round.

Wait, you think there is nothing UK could have done to stop Golke? Did you watch the breakdowns? He was able to run through our entire defense witjout anyone laying a finger on him. He should have been jammed over and over. Also, we were constantly positioned wrong, we didn't help correctly, there was no communication during screens and there was no pre planning on if players were switching or not. This team looked as bad defensively in March as they did in November. Totally uncoached. I have big concerns. Does Calipari not know how to coach actual defense? Also, Cal prides himself on NOT scouting the.other team. it’s why we keep getting upset and why we looked completely lost on both ends of the court last Thursday. Cal.tjinks he’s cool by telling everyone he only worries about his team and just tells his guys toplay hard. Yeah, it worked against auburn, but you don't take that chance in the NCAT, but he did and for that, he should have been fired. he’s turning UK into Indiana.

Not being selfish. But I believe it would be a mistake. For all the freshman to not comeback. I truly believe they would not only benefit financially. But would quicker, more impressive impact. In the NBA.

UK next year will be young again, and here is why: UK loses 4 to graduation, but only 2 played. Burks has entered the transfer portal. They have 16 roster spots, and 6 incoming freshmen. I predict Dillingham, Edwards and Bradshaw also leave, while DJ and Reed stay. That would put a returning starting 5 of DJ, Reed, Thiero, and most likely Onyeso, with one of the incoming freshmen at the 4. That would be a starting 5 of 3 sophomores, 1 Jr and 1 freshman. That leaves 5 Freshman on the bench, and a sophmore in Big Z. So ANY transfer portal players he brings in on scholarship are only going to be 2 or maybe 3 guys and I dont see him bringing in anyone from the portal that is going to take minutes from the starting 5, and hes got minutes you know he's promised to the freshmen, so bench role players is ALL he can grab out of the transfer portal.

DJ Wagner, Bradshaw, Big Z and honestly Justin Edwards all should come back for another year and improve their draft stock. There's no need to rush to the NBA now that they can get paid from the NIL deals now. But weather or not all of them will come back is another story. I honestly don't believe all of them will come back I'd say DJ Wagner and Big Z will come back. And for some reason I wouldn't be surprised if Reed Sheppard comes back just because he's a Kentucky kid and doesn't want to go out like he did. But more than likely he will leave.
