Just because you wear them with all types jeans doesn't mean you are pulling it off lol ...I really hope you're not wearing them with light blue jeans haha
All my footwear is black monochrome (as per my wardrobe.). Sneakers included. They go well with pretty much everything. That's for both casual and athletic ones.
I believe that the white sole on otherwise black sneakers draws attention to your feet, and can make them appear bigger than they are. As I always stick to an all black or black and gray outfit selection, and I wear a size 13, the all black works for me. ( Replying for a friend ☻🕵️♂️)
You'd think that an all white sneaker would make your feet seem bigger. All black sneakers slim them down a bit, so not really sure how they'd seem heavy looking? Also, nobody really notices an all black sneaker as much as opposed to an all white sneaker. Those black sneakers with those thick and high white soles are ugly though... Just like dress shoes with thick soles you don't want sneakers with thick white soles like that imo.
Lately I just observed that I have a huge inclination towards Black shoes , triple black, been wearing them for the past 10 years lolz they are just amazing and go with any outfit
I don’t know, that’s relative. Decades ago black sneakers were the “correct” shoes, while white were the “uncool ambulances”. Love your style about talking about style... ❤️
Black is in my wardrobe more than any other color. Same for my sneaker collection. I tend to lean toward natural and neutral colors like black, grey, white, brown, tan, and navy. I don't do the bright colors.
What's wrong with wearing black sneakers with dark blue jeans? I have black laceless sneaker boots I woild think its the other way around. I think black with white soles are less versatile and look unattractive. If the bottom is white then a lighter color shouls be top like navy or brown. Only my opinion.
Ive some hugo boss trainers triple black color that women seem love a lot. Its almost a guaranteed compliment. Ive also ralph lauren with white sole that also gives a good amount of compliments. Also and since im jordan sneaker guy. Women in my area compliment a lot the jordan 3s. White and Black cement Jordan 3s are the ones that catch more women attention. Also women love watching men with driving shoes. Once in a while when im in a hurry and do not switch shoes when i get out of the car women tell a lot "thats some beautiful shoes". Now keep in mind that many men will look at your drivers and kinda joke about it. Men compliment almost all types of sneakers that i do wear (Jordan, adidas, nike, puma, etc) but driving shoes are not their cup of tea. Probably is more acceptable in countries as Italy i dont know.
I tried wearing black sneakers with grey soles. I found this limiting. So I exchanged them for black sneakers with white soles. That gave me more varieties of clothes to wear as you said.
I don't like all black Nike anything, But I've seen that one, And it's not bad/ But Ash is right! If you do wear it. The rest of your outfit must be simple and neutral in color/
@@KiddGalaxxy it is all about the material. all black is often high fashion. g eazy wears all black all the time and gq said he is one of the hottest men in the us
@@Joooo89 your comment is out of place buddy, i dont know about you, but i dont consider myself less then her or anyone else, by the way her comments are only opinions not facts, and i still disagree with her video, adding more colors to black sneakers to me looks femenine i like the bold manly look better, fits me perfect
In High School I used to wear Adidas Samba in black leather and rubber sole, which were stylish in its day. Recently, I picked a pair of Ralph Lauren with black leather and rubber sole sneakers which look sort of like the Sambas, but without the white strips, which look great with jeans and with grey chinos. The black leather and white sole sneakers look great too, especially in Stan Smith black leather with white boost sole which I was able to find in its limited edition last year.
What’s up with the sockless models in the photos? Dorian wore socks. The sockless look rubs me the wrong way, e.g. if people don’t want to see men’s bare feet (from another of the videos), surely bare ankles aren’t much better. Plus, the contrast with the flesh throws off the whole black, gray, white scheme, IMO.
I normally wear an all black sneaker on my left foot and a yellow Timberland boot on my left foot. I really like the options in pants that are two sizes too small. I especially like when the pant cuff sits on the middle of my shin. As for orange shirts. That have to be, again, two sizes too small. If a polo, buttons undone with no t-shirt. I weigh about 200lbs, but love the clothes that are made for the man-child that weighs 106lbs that are 6’ pounds tall and wear uncomfortable cloths two sizes too small. I have a great name for a clothing line. Two Sizes Too Small. Thank you
Black and white are opposites. Black sneakers with white soles look tacky and cheap, it throws everything off. Unless you wear white pants and a black shirt and want to look like a cheakerboard. I would never in my life buy a black shoe of any kind with a white sole. I think you guys taste on this one is very bad.
Imagine this outfits: 1) Triple Black Superstars + Light blue jeans + White T-shirt + Over Shirt (in squares black and white). 2) All black Stan Smith + Musk Green Trech Coat Chino + Black T-shirt + Modern Leather Jacket. 3) All black All Stars + Blue Jeans Rolled Up + White Shirt + Motorcycle Leather Jacket. 4) Triple Black Ultra Boost + Beige or Toasted Cargo + Black jogging Suit. 5) All black Terrex + White Cargo + Red and White Lumberjack Shirt. Those are just some options but I could spend all afternoon writing and the list wouldn't end... There is no lack of options, there are plenty of prejudices.
White sneakers are more versatile than black ones. I find that most of the time the black ones don't really look as good as white ones would do. And I think most people agree with it.
I just wanted to add my personal opinion to this: An all black sneaker is in fact too much for a normal outfit and I do only wear it monochromatic, but there are outfits that still work with a pop of color. As long as you show your ankle or wear a pair of colored socks (not no-show;higher than crew cut) OR wear bigger sneakers/hi-cut sneakers (converse, jordans, balenciagas, etc) you can wear a pop of color on your top or pants. Important to note that you need all your clothes to be tailored to you-- this is the single most important style tip in my books-- and only choose one pop of color at most (if you're the type to wear colorful clothing, chances are you're not a fan of all black sneakers) The reason low cut, all black shoes are "heavy" in her terms is because in formal wear, all black oxfords are normally only worn with a black/dark charcoal tux, white shirt etc. A low profile sneaker can easily imitate the impression of such and well I guess, if it's taboo on formal wear, it's taboo in casual wear as well.
What a stupid question. Nothing wrong with wearing an all black sneaker. Wear whatever you want for that matter. Worry less about what others might think about it.
No wonder I see so much shoes with white soles because I was looking for a triple black beater for work and casual wear and I didn’t understand why people want the white soles.
someone forgot to tell my CP all black...I think if the silhouette is right, you can wear it with more than the 3 col you mentioned. Triple black rock with a lot of stuff.
Wouldn't black sneakers go with anything a person would wear black boots with? It could depend on the style of boot, but I feel like this is more complicated than it should be. There's almost no thought involved with black boots. Also almost every sneaker style centers around low top sneakers. Again, thinking back to boots, what about mid or high top black sneakers?
Same It is so cool dope I am wearing puma full black sneakers I purchased new ones it's quality design colour so cool man . It's totally up to you that what color sneaker we want like white, black etc it's our personal preference but they are giving worst advice that don't buy or wore black sneakers .Do whatever you like and suits you find you own happiness and satisfaction they r so dumb giving useless advices
Get a safety razor. It uses a single double sided blade and blades themselves are cheap. I bought 100 Astra blades for $11. They should last me about a year and a half. Handles can be had on Amazon for about $15-$20 and they'll last you forever. Much less irritation that way
OK... two tone sneakers ( AKA upper one color sole a different color) are not good looking. Think of dress shoes, would you want a dress shoe with a vastly different color sole? If you want a shoe that you can wear with more color combinations then buy a shoe that has two colors in the upper. Pleas stay clear of differing color soles - not ever a good look.
This video got me thinking. Do the same rules apply to black oxfords or derby shoes. Also, what about black boots such as Chelsea, Chukkas, Dr. Martin 1460s, etc. I feel like those options are more versatile than a pair of triple black converse, for example.
Let's be honest here... A lot of mf who only have a black sneakers clearly have no clue about fashion...they just thought they should have a sneaker but they actually don't need it.
Can you do a video about what's the best things to wear with driving moccasins and loafers in general? Also a video about your opinion of leather jackets.
I actually own a pair of black ASIC shoes. They probably clash with my lighter jeans but I don't care. Though, when I replace my shoes this summer I'll just get two flashy wacky colors. My fav pair of asics are these ORANGE kicks. Sorry not sorry.
I was looking for black shoes online and was confused if I should choose white sole or all black and then the video just popped up on my recommendation
Hey Ashley and Dorian, could you guys make a grooming products video about products you recommend that are easier to find here in Europe? Love your channel but with the grooming products for example Mizon Black Snail, costs 50€ here in Sweden and 60€ on German Amazon and Jack Black's moisturiser is like 30€ for 3.3 Oz. Other things are ofc cheaper or similarly prised like Kiehl's. Or if you know of a similar RU-vid based in Europe that has growing product tips that you trust it would be awesome.
White trainers are too bright for my liking. I’m cool with wearing a white bomber jacket, hoodie, sweatshirt and t-shirt but just not white trainers. Black trainers look better and go with everything.
🤯🤯🤯🤯🤯🤯🤯🤯🤯 I would have to strongly disagree on this point. *Gentlemen* wear what you like, one of the most important things about menswear because of it’s persona... “men are picky” “men don’t shop as much as women” “If you want girls to like you” blah blah woof woof. Personal style is completely dependent on who you are. And just like that journey, it changes and it evolves. Black sneakers (not just the fast fashion styles seen in this video) Are completely subjective to personal style and opinion. Don’t get too drawn in by what others want YOU to look like. With Confidence and Creativity you’ll discover that answer for yourselves.
