Nigel Farage made clear his ambition to one day be prime minister even before his Reform UK party won five seats at the general election. But does he have what it takes? And is he offering the right answers to the UK’s woes?
Camilla and Kamal sit down for an exclusive interview with the Clacton MP and Reform leader to discuss going after Labour, his controversial comments about recent riots in Leeds, and if he could really make it all the way to 10 Downing Street.

As I was watching this podcast I came to the conclusion that Mr Kamal ( I didn't know who he was, although he seemed familiar ) reminded me of a typical BBC presenter who barely managed to hide his contempt for Nigel Farage and seemed to defend the recent riots. When he mentioned that he worked for the BBC I thought well that explains his attitude ! Yet another BBC clone that can be spotted a mile off.

This is unchallenged snobbery and classism. Working class northerners are not thick, they simply talk differently to the privately educated middle class. The areas that the presenters live in, will be untouched by the consequences of mass immigration, (although they will benefit from paying their cleaners below a decent living wage for London). I am disgusted by the media consistently demonising working class ppl for speaking out on the damage mass immigration is causing to their quality of life. Wages have stagnated, areas unkempt and uncared for, no available social housing, different cultures being prioritised etc. I'm really beginning to hate the media who condone it all.
@greenrosenz
@greenrosenz Месяц назад
The reason there is no social housing was Thatcher's plan. Asset managers are buying up houses, often paying more than the asking price. Not just in Britain but in the US too.

These two interviewers so typify the traditional, centrist Tory mindset. Totally unable to step outside the elitist, metropolitan bubble. To them and most Tory MPs language used is more important than the actual issues. They are unable to look at things straight on in the face. Why Camilla Tominey describes herself as on the right is frankly beyond me. Regarding the Leeds riots, the question that these two liberals should ask is whether the police would have retreated so cravenly had the mob been of a different demographic character? I think we know the answer. And why is it always a 'lurch' to the right? Why can people not simply MOVE to the right?!

Sorry, it might be difficult to swallow, but again Farage is not scared to deliver uncomfortable truths. Our towns are unrecognisable, it's never been about skin colour, it's all about culture which in some cases is difficult to separate from religion also. Both have been thrust upon the UK and completely change the cultural feel of the UK in a way many just don't want. It might feel uncomfortable, and like all the blame is on immigrants, but it's far beyond that argument in reality. The truth is, it's not about blame, it's about an entirely different and non complimentary culture these people come from. This plays out on the streets as we've seen. Multiculturalism has never worked, what works is when people subscribe to and integrate with 1 culture and this is why people see our identity disintegrating. Until people finally acknowledge where the problem is, it won't improve.

Maybe they are right about Harehills per se, although everything said about the reasons why things kicked off in that area is conjecture, but Farage is correct that the growth of the population in this country is out of control and is largely due to out of control immigration, legal and illegal, is putting downwards pressure on wages and upwards pressure on the NHS, housing, schools and all public services and damaging to the economy. Meanwhile we have 5 million on benefits, so it is not that surprising that things so easily kick-off in such deprived areas as Harehills. Meanwhile the chattering classes, the metropolitan elite, the self entitled look the otherway just so long as they get someone to serve them their skinny latte and avocado toast in Pret.

The luvvies keep telling us the population is falling but evidence says the opposite. How come we are heading towards a population crisis of 70 million. I think we know who are having the huge families but the luvvies don't want to mention who. I wonder how many offspring Kamal has fathered.

Over half of Harehills isn't even British. Not born in this country, At some point we have to ask ourselves why these people are here and what benefit they are of to this country. If they are not then visas need to be refused an extension and people made to leave.

The woke telegraph. This is why I cancelled my subscription. The two interviewers look as out of touch as typical London bubble BBC presenters. Out of touch and irrelevant. Fundamentally no one British ever voted in favour of mass migration. It has been nothing but trouble for people we knew as British until yesterday!

The main issue I have with many reporters is that they try to trip their interviewees up, and rather than hear what the interviewee has to say, attempt to get him to say what they, the reporters, what they want him to say. The arrogance of the reporters is that inculcated into pupils of sub-standard public schools.
