ESPN's Brian Windhorst reported that the Philadelphia 76ers would love to add nine-time All-Star Paul George. Brandon Ingram might be their backup plan. Chris Herring says Philly should try and make a move for LeBron James. And, according to the Philadelphia Inquirer, the Sixers are prepared to give Jimmy Butler a max-salary extension if things align and he forces a trade out of Miami. Who should be Philly's offseason target?

Mikal Bridges is the ideal 3rd guy, he’s always available and plays elite defense with a good offensive bag.

@@Miles_305 There are already reports coming out that Brooklyn is looking towards the future more then the present. Mikal Bridges will be 28 when next season starts with two years left on a contract. Nic Claxton & Cam Thomas will probably end up being the future for Brooklyn... with that being said I believe Bridges will be traded by the deadline at the latest. However, if he does get traded then it will be to The Knicks or The Rockets. They have the the assets to outbid the 76ers unfortunately and both of those franchises expressed interest in acquring Mikal Bridges in the past so if or when he comes available I can see them being the frontrunners.

@@rigbythekhajiit 🤦‍♂️🤦‍♂️🤦‍♂️ The Brooklyn Nets have Nic Claxtons bird rights so they are able to offer him more then any other team in the league. I am very aware that he is a Free Agent as well however I dont see an instance where he doesnt resign with Brooklyn. I would say the chances of Brooklyn resigning Claxton is around 80%.

PG13 is 34 years old. He's not contributing a lot for much longer on a contending team. This reminds me of how Tobias Harris was the missing piece for the Sixers. You're getting maybe like.. 4 more points a game, and someone you can't rely on to stay on the court. Tobias Harris at least plays. Bad idea.

A lot of people say Paul George would be a problem due to the fact they don’t need another ball dominant scorer but pg brings much more than just scoring his defense alone can be a great addition to the 76ers and adds a lot of size to the roster and would be there best 3 shooter easily

I would call Chicago and offer them the 16th pick & another future 1st for Lavine & Caruso. This way you get a 2 for 1. PG & Butler are too old in my opinion.. Lebron isn't leaving LA. Ingram would cost double & if Mikal Bridges gets put on the trade market then Houston & The Knicks will be the frontrunners considering they could outbid the 76ers. Another thing the 76ers could do is sign Miles Bridges to a 4 year 80 million dollar deal & offer Quickley a 4 year 100 million dollar deal. If Toronto matches then instead go after Monk.

Tas has a point on this one. Everyone who opposed to PG signing can’t propose a decent alternative. Guys like Mikal and Lauri are almost unavailable, if you want go for role players they are not cheap either, you have 2 option, the first to pay around 20 to each of KCP, Bruce Brown and Monk (top role players FAs) + MLE or the second to sign PG, the rest of 16 mil for a role player + MLE

If we ignore Jimmy Butler's last 5 yr resume in the playoffs AND the fact the 76ers don't need a reg season player...then sure.

Sixers problem is that Embid can't remain healthy. I really don't know how you can resolve that unless you wanna move on, trade him for some key pieces and build your team around Maxey.
