In this day and age, technology takes over our lives, so does social media. Social media consumes much of our time these days and as much as there are positive effects, there are also negative ones. Should there be an age limit in social media? Let's discuss that.

I am 14 years old . The age limit. I think the age limt is a good ideas but we already have one . Social Medias : YOutube forbids children under the age of 13 to create their own account, and children between age 13- 17 are only allowed to open account with a partenal permission . Of course , these rules don't say anything about parent opening an account for a child ; this is allowed . The youtube is can not be watched privately and on your own till the age of 18 . The Children's online Privacys Protection Act ( COPPA) exempts kids from dats . That how kids have their yotube channel 13 or older : Twitter , Facebook , Instagram , Pinterest , Google+ , Tumblr Snapchat , and Secret 14 or over : Linkedln 16 or over : WhatsApp 17 or over : Vinder and Tinder 18 ( 13 with parents permisions) : RU-vid , Keek , Foursquare , Wechat , Kik , Flickr Edmodo ( android , Iphone , ipad : 13 and under Club peguin ( iphone , ipad ) : desinged for childern betwen 6-14 . Anyone can play PopJam ( android , iphne , ipad): 7-12 ChatFOSS(iphone , ipad) - 13 and under Geckolife ( android , iphone, ipad ): no minimus age Mesenger Kids ( android , iphone , ipad ) : 6-12 Yotube Kids : 12 and under

It really affects me when I was 14 years old of using social media and I get in trouble from my parents because I add people that I don’t know who they are. What could I do next time to use social media because I use social media without my parents permission?
