I agree with Poet's MOBO point. If they were sincere in their apology, it should have happened at that moment, not a year later, when they want Chuckie to present and DJ. If they really wanted to rectify the situation there should have been a conversation around the time the video came out exposing the mess. Teach people how to treat you!
It’s an interesting conversation- the ‘default’ for me will be artists like Potter, Skrapz , Skepta. Songs you will play when nothing else making the playlist.

What's worse he just contradicts himself. He's upset that Ed Sheeran won a MOBO yet Chuckie had Ed Sheeran on the pod. It's the second most viewed video on the channel so I guess the "culture/community" likes Ed Sheeran then.
@@GZMJr this is so accurate, he started HC Pod with Chuckie yet he's not in the most viewed videos. Savage started off behind the camera he had so much charisma the audience wanted to know who he was. Since then look where Dan is now making pure moves. Mitch is another one poet brought him on the pod but then he started making his own moves now look at him interviewing big busta rhymes. Poet is surrounded by guys that are making big moves all the time but he's sitting here screaming about an award show that isn't thinking about him.
Seems ppl ain’t loving Poet this episode, he did calm down w/ the rants. However, I do think Poet is good in climates with someone to balance, unfortunately that’s not chuckie. Too bad Savage Dan ain’t on here too much anymore. We need a balanced probably a woman who calm down Poet’s energy. I do think Poet is good in conversations but when takes too much in his direction & overtakes it’s all waffle.
The MOBOs have become uncultured ngl it's like the auntie or uncle in the family trying to impress the youth to keep and say they are young too. When actual facts they are outdated and need to pass over the baton to the youth and they also need to learn to give ambassador roles for each genre. To someone who truly has been in that genre for years with a fan of each of those genres...Real talk or major real talk?

I hear what is said about the MOBOS. However when the Brit awards or Grammys disrespect musicians of colour, they still appear the next year when they are nominated. The MOBOS definitely have to put a better show, treat nominees better and equally, and pick the right winners. But I’m not buying the excuse of them being the reason why the biggest musicians don’t turn up. These awards can do everything for them. Once they hit mainstream, they still won’t come and that’s the problem. Problem is we don’t value our awards like we value the other awards
Poet just says stuff, who is poet to be inviting him to any award show. He's surrounded by people who get invited because they're actually doing stuff and making a name for themselves

Why was the Mobos aired on BBC at 11:30? That's the question i wanna know from the Mobos producers. I was there live in Sheffield, and I had a good time, but what was shown on BBC, nah. It wasnt it. Glas I was there to witness it.

icl there’s little point in having these rappers on the pod they got nothing to say and that’s ok. We can still appreciate the music but podding isn’t for everyone. Takes himself so serious to the point he can’t laugh off a joke even after a ten minute explanation

Chuck this podcast had mad potential but its numbers have slacked due to your format and poet.
@@acetrap problem is Poet is the self proclaimed king in poetland. Chuckie allows him to fuel the ego whereas on Gas works he never pipes up as much because Alhan would rip him up. People have tried to give feedback about this pod for a while but clearly they dont take it on board. Pretty ignorant
