Tyler's been awesome since his Ace the Creator days. Even back in the day, his ear and how he's testing and pushing the boundaries of music, always carving, pulling, and forming new molds is an amazing feat. Love to see all the success and love to see that the mass has finally included him into the conversation of GOAT's. He's def on my Mt. Rushmore of not only musicians, but "Creator"'s.

People always go Kendrick, Drake & Cole, for a while even Big Sean, as the top rappers of this generation. In my opinion you could easily replace Sean and Cole with Future and Tyler. Tyler's influence, discography and artistry is beyond Coles imo.

IMO, Tyler is definitely an OG, if anything triple OG. I think it's just because this is the first time hip hop has evolved to an age where longevity and talent like Jay-Z and Nas are set firm in that GOAT status that we can't view Tyler as an equal. But to be fair Kanye and Kendrick are in that same GOAT status as well, despite not having the longevity as them. Yet alone Drake who's had longevity regardless of the talent, but you can't disagree with his numbers despite your taste. I'm just saying it's high time now where the body of work and longevity of Tyler is valid for GOAT status much like all of the artists that were mentioned. Ps. Let Nadeska speak

Let's be real, when we talk about Drake's consistency he's the goat for it. Tyler isn't even mentioned enough as an incredible producer, can craft an entire project with him and one mixer as the entire team, he can drop any style he feels, stays true to himself, puts on performances you will talk about and remember. I could really go on. Giving the man his flowers would just be a respectful plus because he doesn't even need that validation from anyone.

He's beyond rap though. And I say that respectfully to the hip-hop community. He's not confined to those genres. It's beyond experimental. He's going into other genres. So it's not just Hip-Hop but experimental or whatever. It's not that. It's music inspired but lots of artists from all walks of life. Older jazz bands, piano artists, abstract artists, genre bending artists. That with rap added into the soup. So it's not just rap based. At least most times. Especially since like Cherry Bomb or Flower Boy. Before that he kept dabbing into things. Starting to grow. When he finally learned a lot, he started delivering next level songs which lead to entire projects. Let's be honest, he was funny, edgy, hype but not deep, beautiful, melodic, etc. For the most part. He did have some songs. Fans know.
