Anti-natalism is a very simple, logical position to hold, and I used to be one myself. I only take 2 issues with it. 1. Anti-natalists are often smart, educated and logical people. By not procreating, you are just ceding the world to the people who do procreate, whether they are smart or not. Instead of smart people having more kids and teaching them good stuff, we will instead get an Idiocracy scenario(not really but kind of). 2. Even if anti-natalism succeeds in convincing everyone on the planet to not have kids, you aren't going to fix the problem of suffering for long(on cosmic timescales). And I am assuming that one of the key reasons to stop procreating is to stop suffering. However, we know that this universe created us at least once, so what prevents it from doing so again? Universe can obviously create life, so us trying to stop the process is unlikely to succeed. Not to mention that we are again ceding the planet to creatures that are right now essentially obsolete. I deem obsolete any animal that can't kill its pray efficiently without eating it alive. This only means more and more suffering, instead of us staying here and trying to find a way to reduce suffering a different way. No other process or organism cares about suffering at all except us, so we might as well stick around to try to reduce it. On personal level, I really have no arguments against it. If someone just wants to stop doing that procreation thing, regardless of whether the movement will succeed or not, I have no issue with that.
Yet YOU would support the average person procreating, of which includes people with all sort of issues related to anger, ignorance, and all the other mental defects.
And also YOU will help more antinatalists to exist, by you advocating for natalism. Where do you think antinatalists come from, according to physics, if they aren't CREATED?

People who reached that conclusion are very straightforward and honest. It's really one of the most logical positions to take. My only issues with it is that on a smaller timescale we are ceding the planet to people who do procreate, who will likely be less educated and also on a cosmic timescale we aren't really doing anything as universe will just create us or something similar again. Universe wants life to exist, so exist it will.

Because they say such in the sense that there's something wrong with us, as opposed to the general population (of which includes folks with considerable mental issues, deluded theists, and also the criminals as well). I take it as an insult that they think that people in general are entitled to have kids, but we aren't. NOBODY is entitled to have kids.

The older folk advertise the philosophy for younger folk to accept, and they do the same and go out worldwide to do better than the last generation. Not only that, but antinatalism is associated with education. Generally, worldwide knowledge is increasing. So with that, antinatalism will have a chance to take hold, once a person learns about how the world naturally is, once they learn about atheism, and once they learn how life is intrinsically unfair and absurd. Its analogous with atheism. Atheists generally don't replicate as much as theists, that doesn't mean that atheism will eventually go away forever. In mankind's desire to analyze the world and deduce whats true in it, both atheism and antinatalism HAVE to be guaranteed for the future, because they're deductive truths about reality.
I don't know if it ever happened or not but I'm just assuming that I'm the first Pakistani person commenting on this channel telling you that don't be doubtful that antinatalism is not rising. It's rising even in Pakistan which is in way worse condition even if we compare it to India. I myself consider it childfree by choice but I support antinatalism too.❤ I'm a little selfish too because my childhood was worse if you can imagine so I want to live to the fullest now.
