I like the kensa weapons so I'll miss them in splatoon 3 but I feel like Sheldon's picks are inevitably going to appear in every Splatoon game whereas Kensa, as you said is limited.

Maybe a new collection of kensas will come out like with a kensa jet squelcher and carbon.It does seem obvious the current kensa collection has little chance of coming back.We'll miss them.

Would you rather have more character based movement like sliding, running, sneaking or more weapon based movement like holding a dynamo in different positions, shooting sideways with a Splattershot while looking forward or pointing dualies in two different directions?

Would you rather: salmon run have a system where at the end of each wave, you are able to purchase upgrades to your abilities based on how well you went over your quota. This is included with an endless mode. Or salmon run having an entire expansion which develops the lore and gives us insight of little buddy and other friendly salmon?

I feel like apartments have a lot of potential. Maybe you go there to change gear at a locker or something, and other areas can be customized. Maybe you can buy bigger apartments, or even arcade cabinets to unlock the lobby mini games. It would be an awesome addition I hope they consider

Would you rather: -Have Octoling AIs be drastically improved to the point where DC'd players are replaced by them and if you lose with them you lose a quarter of the ranked points you would've lost without the DC -You can make add a custom sub OR special to any main weapon, but only to two weapons

Yeah the choice is one sided. Don't you just not lose points when a player dc's? I'd much prefer zero punishment for something I can't control rather than any punishment for something I can't control. 2 Custom weapons for me

Would you rather have more cosmetic customization(gear, weapons, animations.) Or more customization in Private battles(custom game modes, custom weapon kits, kick/ban function, and player invites.)

Private Battles are better only if you have friends who play the game. Cosmetics are good for everyone. I'd still take the Private Battles because imagine the content creator potential. That would be so fun to watch.

Would you rather have a completely new mode to play in ranked with a centralized objective, or one with a decentralized objective? Example: Tower control vs something like a more chaotic clam blitz

5:18 You’re the first person I’ve seen pick armor, and I’m honestly surprised that no one else answered to me with that. I mean, yeah missile can be stacked like there’s no tomorrow and the enemy gets loads of map control off of it. It’s a living nightmare compared to quad armor, I’d honestly just take hitting them a few extra times.

Would you rather make gear have a bingo type system, like in Monster Hunter Stories the 3x3 slots can give you bonuses in gear performance (Say if you have 3 subs of QR you would get the normal 9 Ability points times 1.5 because of them being in a row) Or The gear system stays the same in splat2. Chunk cost + you can’t use money to buy chunks or reroll

Would you rather have very well done tutorials that teach new players everything they need to know and then some but it takes a very long time to get through the beginning of the game or have extremely lacking or basically no tutorials but it takes much faster to get started for players who know what they are doing (getting gear, weapons, unlocking ranked modes etc)?

What we could get is a new smaller brush we could use like a spear and throw it like a spear. More brellas are good too. But we should also add to Splatanas and add more blade types from long swords, short swords, claymores, axes, hammers, sword and shield etc etc. The mlre creative the better.

Would you rather: - Have a better training room with more options for practice like targets that move similarly to a mobile special weapon, turrets that fire at you with different weapon shots or even special weapon shots to improve situational awareness etc, or even solid AIs to battle as warmup. - A decent single-player mode with difficulty settings like "Tutorial", "Veteran", "Impossible", (insert other difficulties here)

Here's a WYR, between these 2 brush ideas which would you go for? - The stamp is back as a weapon (like that design you discussed in an earlier vid) but your roll is like the current stamp's too, but weaker, and you cannot throw it to attack. or - You get a fishing rod-like brush that cannot roll but still swing, but it gets a vertical fling that can one shot upon a direct hit, like a charger, but its windup is that of a dynamo's or slower.

For Splatoon 3, would you rather have: 1) A collection of hybrid main weapons- take a core gimmick/feature from 2 different classes/specific main weps from different classes, either using both when feasible or combining them to create a new gimmick/feature that takes inspiration from the originals (possibly locking these behind a set multiplayer level like S1 Sheldon's Picks) 2) 3-4 kits for _every_ main weapon, but very limited new additions (i.e. only adding to the wep classes with 4 or fewer main wep options & providing 3-4 main weapons for the bow class)

I wouldn't mind any collection coming back. What I'd want in the future is having these collections like "Kensa" and "Deco" be cosmetic options for weapons, rather than them being integrated into the kits themselves. This way we can have more existing color options for weapons that otherwise couldn't have them due to kit restrictions, as well as more skins being obtainable in different ways, such as challenges, Amiibo, etc.

Easy choice, more D-pad options. It would make Solo-Q so much easier in terms of communication. Having a more visual effect to the options we have now wouldn’t really make a difference.

WYR: have two new callouts assigned to left and right dpad directions (ill let you come up with what they'd be) OR official voice chat that's always on (no muting, open mic instead of push to talk, no volume controls, etc).

Both of these are dealing with ammo knights in splatoon 3. Would you rather be able to mod/decorate your weapons to increase certain strengths (like a stabilizer for a dynamo roller which increases flick accuracy), which unlock after you unlock all the weapons in the base game, while only one mod could be applied at a time. Or, would you rather work part time at ammo knights and have Sheldon analyze your performance with whatever weapon you’ve currently using (thing like K/D ratio, the amount of times you’ve used each part of the kit to splat someone, etc.) in order to recommend them to people on your friend list while you’re online.

6:40 I forgot what this map was until I saw it. Yes, I play Sploosh on this map, more of the vanilla than anything else. I don’t wanna brag or anything, but I consider myself to be a vanilla Sploosh main, and I’m easily able to get to my opponents base, by taking middles, then, going to the right side of the map, to then, go above, and then, go Ink everything on there base. I did this technique a few times, with this weapon, and it won lots of games, since, they will notice this at the last minute, which, by that time, it’ll just be too late. Funny enough, I tried playing Splatlings on Blackbelly Skatpark, but, it didn’t really turn out very good. Maybe because I suck at Splatlings in general, but, who knows.

you have to put a splatoon 2 special in splatoon 3. you mystically know for certain it would be reworked to be at the most balanced and play-conducive it could possibly be. would you rather: splashdown or sting ray?

Here's a Big One... Would you rather... -Have Splatoon 3 feature every weapon having at least 3 kits with flexible aesthetic customization (including left-handed grip) and a new Ranked Mode, but still deal with a continuous three stage map rotations for all modes (except Private Battle). or -Have Splatoon 3 only feature the stage rotations on a new Champion Ranked mode that can have the player play as inkling/octoling superstars (and their imposters) with their own gear, special abilities, weapons, etc. (similar to Overwatch), but stick with the weapon status quo in Regular Modes with no new mode or weapon class additions, apart from what's been shown and the probable Octo Expansion for 3.

WYR have a reworked solo queue system where matchmaking and X power is a lot more balanced than S2 or have reworked PB where every desire of the community is added (Kick/Ban, Room code, more customization, etc.)

Would you rather: Make all specials require a much larger amount of points to obtain (for example 300p - 550p) but they are super effective when used well Or All specials are ridiculously easy to obtain and act almost like a second sub weapon, but are less effective overall

If there was ever a Splatoon spin off game, would you rather have a single player open world style game (plays like the Splatoon we already have) or a party game (would be multiplayer focused, but moreso on minigames like mario party)?
