@@JoaninFloridaOh idk retard… we also don’t vote on abortion but it somehow still gets done the way we voted… critical thinking doesn’t exist with these dumbass gen z’s 😂
Try to remember there are lots of women in the military. Also we need nurses, teachers, CPAs, chefs etc ya' know for the people the military protects, because MEN view most of those jobs as "womwns job". Also remember men CANNOT have children. Hope this helps 😊
@@yurmajestygodfrontlines honey no support roles. Equal fights equal casualties And about the kids part well. They're not going to be raised well the quality isn't there no more just take a look around you. No more damaged kids would be better.
I honestly don't care about women being in the draft or not. What I wanna see is when congressmen vote and decide to participate in wars in other countries, they have to lead battles like the lords of old time. I bet there will be less starting of wars for stupid reasons then.
If the country is at war, everyone has the responsibility to fight. The first ones to be drafted should be the sons and daughters of the lawmakers into combat roles.....if they think this is a horrible idea, then there shouldn't be a draft at all.
I'm a Conservative by inclination and I don't see why that Senator should send my son to war, but leave his daughters at home - so they can protest the patriarchy.
Lots of men have stepped forward on their own. But we all registered for the the draft because of the law. Women should have to register just like the men have to.
Yes they do women wanted equal rights and then get man when they have to do things men do so you guys fought hard to have equal rights there for must serve if men have to
yes, women should be included in the draft. I say this because once this happens there will be an immediate end to all this BS of women demanding to be equal to men
Hell, most of them won't get off the couch or out of bed except to "go clubbin'." Do you honestly think they will volunteer for the Service or a job in a Defense factory? 😂🤣
For 50 years we’ve had an all volunteer military. Women are in every branch, yet only men are required to register for a possible draft. This should be unconstitutional under the equal protection clause. If women don’t have to register then they should not be allowed to serve in the military.
Vast majority of the military personnel are support and logistics. The last I remember was around 1:8 between combat and support. Women can absolutely serve in that role.
As a woman and former military, I think they should but couples. Married especially with children should only have 1 parent eligible for the draft and they should be able to decide between themselves who it is
Everyone enjoys the bounty of America, so all should be ready to serve their country. Not only would non-combat jobs be available, but anyone should be able to fulfill their obligation in other specified jobs which serve to promote the health of society. Some men might rather fight forest fires. Some women might rather accept draftee wages to work in healthcare. Serving one's country is character building. And, if immigration is going to be severely restricted, people will be required to do something other than be selfish.
Well, a few years ago the army did say that a 40 year old woman outperformed all of the young men 20 years younger than her at Ranger School. The other women who went to Ranger School were also reported as outperforming all of the men. So, if that’s true and not bullshit, then women need to be drafted first and in the front lines combat. Not soft ass office jobs.
That must have been a very fun read for you. We know it's BS. I saw some reports claiming there was a very special treatment to make sure they graduate. And we know why they want them to graduate.
Women want all the equality men get but only when it benefits them so yes if they get to vote, get equal pay, etc. then they certainly should be eligible to get drafted also.
@CameronWarnsley-xt1km why not. Women can run, shoot, fly and drive. They would do the same things that women who volunteer for the 5 branches do. So what the fuck is the difference.
@@CameronWarnsley-xt1kmhell yes. I'm sick of you loud mouth women acting like you have any say. You know the only reason you have your freedoms is because we men allow it. At any point we can say screw yall and just revoke them and there will not be a thing you could do about it.
Either that or a breeders draft, in times of war they must produce a very amount of children, that way they stay home but their forced to do something they weren’t wanting to do or planned on doing
It's not the women opposing it. It's the MAGA politician chads. FWIW: If we need the draft, the shit is hitting the fan. You don't win by leaving resources on the table.
It depends on the roles. Men are strong naturally, so with little training they can gain a lot, even men who are not previously trained, would still need to be trained, but the results for their training are worth it, because they already have the potential. So they're far more effective in the battlefield. Support roles are nothing like the real thing, and it's not equality.
Here we go. “Everyone’s a feminist until there’s a spider around” -Bo Burnham. Reminds me of when a woman who identifies as a man ends up facing jail time, they beg the judge not to be sent to a men’s prison because they know what will happen. This is no different.
No one should be drafted against their will period. Think about it, if it’s a war worth fighting people would volunteer themselves if they believe in the cause.
Chivalry is gone, and not for the better. Let the men fight, but have the women assist at home however they're able to, whether it's by caring for the family left behind, managing the home, helping manufacturer arms, etc. Like that congressman said, if the women want to volunteer, let them, but don't force them. Just like in Mulan, I'm a father of 2 girls, one 16 and the other 11. I would happily go in their stead so that they don't have to partake in combat. I can't imagine the horrors female prisoners of war would have to endure.
@chrisbrooks6965 That's beside the point. While our draft hasn't been enacted in over 50 years, Congress and the President can reinstate it. If you don't like it then call your Congressman to voice your opinion about it. Tje topic at hand is whether or not women should be drafted. I would also argue most Americans believe fighting Nazi Germany during WWII was a worthy cause, but they still needed a draft to get the job done.
@@justbenelson Already called my congressman about it 3 times. Also no that’s not exactly how WW2 went down we wanted no active part in Europes war, we declared war on Japan first after Pearl Harbor was attacked then in turn Germany declared war on the USA because Japan had a pact with Germany. If they reinstate the draft 1. There should be a truly active threat of homeland invasion. 2. We should have less then half of our volunteer grunts left (ie infantry) 3. Once a invasion is repelled drafted troops should not leave USA territory.
So far, the general public has gone along with these ridiculous cultural changes. I'm not sure why, but I digress. I think if the government demanded that women be a part of the draft, then that would be the last straw.
