My understanding of this passage is that the Lord does not want quaralling in the church. Because of interpretation of scripture. Proverbs says that the beggining of quarrels is pride.

"let women stay silent", the next verse is speaking about the husband explaining the bible to his wife. questions such as: " can i paint my nails or die my hair?". the answer would be "no dear". or questions like: "can i wear a short dresses or dress like a punk?". again the answer would be "eh, no dear". other questions like: "what do we do on new moons or sabbath days?", or "how can we help male preachers?", would be, for another generation. another time, and not for this generation 🤔

We tend to forget that it is God Himself who chose Deborah to be the head of Israel and she was a prophet.

Have we not strayed far from the original order of the Lord..the plumbline of the Lord :Amos7. Surely our maturity of the Prophetic Ministry to accomplush much within the 5 fold Ministry will depend to have this relationship/reliance

Do you believe the interpretation that Corinthians is a responsa. Let your women be silent is a question originating from 'the law', the Talmud. The woman's voice is ervah nakedness and it is forbidden for a man to look at a woman's hair or to hear a woman's voice. 'The law' says she must be silent. It's not an instruction, it's a question.
