This is so sooooo important! My journey has been the opposite of Ruth's. Many years ago i cried out to God and asked Him WHY He had created me a woman, and given me leadership and preaching gifting, when the churches i had attended all my life didnt believe in women in leadership or preaching/teaching...reading a book called "Why not Women" by (i think) Loren Cunnigham, explaining the Timothy and Corinthian scriptures and how they had been misinterpreted totally set me free in my heart! ❤

Omgosh I prayed a similar prayer before. I felt such a feeling of oppression submission subservience and strife in being a woman. Thankfully because of ministries like yours I am walking into the freedom of humanity we were born for in the beginning. Being female or a woman is not a sentence to be a second class citizen. ❤️‍🔥

I would have to disagree. I grew up in the Satanic charismatic denominations that preached the NEW norms of the church. the understanding of the scripture was NOT there, Even the Simple take it as it is understanding of a child; as Jesus Himself put it. I did not feel the Spirit. And when I was Introduced to the Plymouth Brethren, I understood why I Left the misguided, truth defying Body. I do agree that women can be powerful in the Spirit. they can see it, understanding it deeper than men can; sometimes. But God, through Paul; lays it out. Men are to Lead the Congregation. Women are to lead the Women, and children. And be a Help mate to there Husbands. You can still do this in Love, Joy and Truth. because it is His joy and Truth working in and through you. In Love, your brother in Christ Jesus. Giovanni Stokmans.

Thank you for your obedience. It's encouraging to say the least. I'm an ordained minister in a male dominated denomination that honors women in ministry only to a certain point. Truth be told, the desire to hold on to power trumps scripture. I appreciate the encouragement.

While this is good, please dig into the scriptures and make it plain for people to understand. Everyone has their stories about women in the church and leadership, this needed to be about the scriptures, not people's experiences.

Since a woman could be a pastor in the Old Covenant, a woman can be a pastor in the New Covenant. Simple really. I suggest my short and free essay on Deborah. Men and women are perfectly equal spiritually. She was a pastor, according to the scriptures. This is how the Judges are described in Chronicles, by God.

@@santhoshthadigiri3816 Part 10 PAUL REFERS TO HIMSELF AS A SPIRITUAL FATHER THE MOST SERIOUS FALSE TEACHING OF PAUL And do not call anyone on earth your father; for only One is your Father, He who is in heaven. -excerpt Matthew 23 -words of Jesus Jesus said to her, “Stop clinging to Me, for I have not yet ascended to the Father; but go to My brothers and say to them, ‘I am ascending to My Father and your Father, and My God and your God.’” -excerpt John 20 -words of Jesus They love the best places at feasts, the best seats in the synagogues, greetings in the marketplaces, and to be called by men, ‘Rabbi, Rabbi.’ But you, do not be called ‘Rabbi’; for One is your Teacher, the Christ, and you are all brethren. -excerpt Matthew 23 -words of Jesus While He was still speaking to the crowds, behold, His mother and brothers were standing outside, seeking to speak to Him. But Jesus replied to the one who was telling Him and said, “Who is My mother, and who are My brothers?” And extending His hand toward His disciples, He said, “Behold: My mother and My brothers! For whoever does the will of My Father who is in heaven, he is My brother, and sister, and mother.” -excerpt Matthew 12 -words of Jesus We see above, that Jesus, the great King, referred to His disciples as brothers, and sisters, and mothers. Jesus knew that if any man gave himself the title of 'father' that man would regard brothers and sisters in Christ as his sons, or children. That is what Paul did a number of times. Paul NEEDED this type of respect. It also shows he was either ignorant of this teaching of Jesus, or thought that since he was an apostle (something he mentions in most of his letters) he had the authority to set aside the words of Jesus. _____________________________________________________ Paul states that he gave birth, in a spiritual way, to the Christians in Galatia. But it is good to be zealously affected always in a good thing, and not only when I am present with you. My little children, of whom I travail in birth again until Christ be formed in you, I desire to be present with you now, and to change my voice; for I stand in doubt of you. -excerpt Galatians 4 KJV -words of Paul Yet to all who received Him, He gave the power to become sons of God, to those who believed in His name, who were born not of blood, nor of the will of the flesh, nor of the will of man, but of God. -excerpt John 1 MEV We see in John 1 (above) that we become sons and daughters of God, by God. Not any man. Not even by Paul. So when Paul writes: I travail in birth again until Christ be formed in you... Paul is speaking a falsehood to the Galatians. Paul, again, below, regards himself as a father. He referred to himself as a parent loving his children. Behold, the third time I am ready to come to you; and I will not be burdensome to you: for I seek not yours but you: for the children ought not to lay up for the parents, but the parents for the children. And I will very gladly spend and be spent for you; though the more abundantly I love you, the less I be loved. -excerpt 2 Corinthians 12 __________________________________________________________ I write not these things to shame you, but as my beloved sons I warn you. For though ye have ten thousand instructers in Christ, yet have ye not many fathers: for in Christ Jesus I have begotten you through the gospel. Wherefore I beseech you, be ye followers of me. For this cause have I sent unto you Timotheus, who is my beloved son, and faithful in the Lord, who shall bring you into remembrance of my ways which be in Christ, as I teach every where in every church. -excerpt 1 Corinthians 4 KJV -words of Paul Paul writes: For this reason I have sent to you Timothy, who is my beloved and faithful child in the Lord... Paul played no part in leading this man to Jesus. So, sort of strange from that perspective. The wording would indicate to anyone that Paul led this man to Jesus. Now Paul also came to Derbe and to Lystra. And a disciple was there, named Timothy, the son of a Jewish woman who was a believer,... -excerpt Acts 16 Even though Paul states that the title/position of 'father' was rare and special, Paul gives no qualifications in his letters for this title/position. _______________________________________________________ More examples: Paul, an apostle of Christ Jesus by the will of God, according to the promise of life in Christ Jesus, To Timothy, my beloved son... -excerpt 2 Timothy 1 -words of Paul You therefore, my son, be strong in the grace that is in Christ Jesus. -excerpt 2 Timothy 2 -words of Paul to Timothy To Titus, mine own son after the common faith: Grace, mercy, and peace, from God the Father and the Lord Jesus Christ our Saviour. -excerpt Titus 1 -words of Paul I appeal to you for my son Onesimus, whom I have begotten while in my chains, who once was unprofitable to you, but now is profitable to you and to me. -excerpt Philemon 1 -words of Paul ____________________________________________________ A father in real life is over his children. There is no equality. The father must be respected according to scripture. “Honor your father and your mother... -excerpt Exodus 20 Listen, my son, to your father’s instruction, And do not ignore your mother’s teaching;... -excerpt Proverbs 1 Paul calls himself a 'father' in a spiritual sense. This goes against the teaching of Jesus. Also, since Paul calls himself a father, he conveniently bypasses the requirements of being an elder, which he states, partially, as a married man that has children. For this reason I left you in Crete, that you would set in order what remains and appoint elders in every city as I directed you, namely, if any man is beyond reproach, the husband of one wife, having children who believe, not accused of indecent behavior or rebellion. -excerpt Titus 1 -words of Paul As Paul says, he wasn't married: But I say to the unmarried and to widows that it is good for them if they remain even as I. -excerpt 1 Corinthians 7 Two requirements set by Paul to be an elder were to be a married man that had children. Paul could not meet these requirements so he gave himself the title of 'father'. A father being a man above churches and the elders in them. I robbed other churches by taking wages from them to serve you;... Apart from such external things, there is the daily pressure on me of concern for all the churches. -excerpts 2 Corinthians 11 -words of Paul [End of Partition 1 of 2]

@@santhoshthadigiri3816 Paul believed he had the authority to discipline as a father does. Do not withhold discipline from a child; Though you strike him with the rod, he will not die. -excerpt Proverbs 23 For if you were to have countless tutors in Christ, yet you would not have many fathers... But I will come to you soon, if the Lord wills, and I shall find out, not the words of those who are arrogant, but their power. For the kingdom of God is not in words, but in power. What do you desire? That I come to you with a rod, or with love and a spirit of gentleness? -excerpt 1 Corinthians 4 Paul believed his authority to discipline extended even to the ability to execute a man. Paul believed he could make this judgement on a Christian man from afar, as God could. ...for I indeed, as being absent as to the body, and present as to the spirit, have already judged, as being present, him who so wrought this thing:in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ -- ye being gathered together, also my spirit -- with the power of our Lord Jesus Christ,to deliver up such a one to the Adversary for the destruction of the flesh, that the spirit may be saved in the day of the Lord Jesus. -excerpt 1 Corinthians 5 YLT For I, on my part, though absent in body but present in spirit, have already judged him who has so committed this, as though I were present. In the name of our Lord Jesus, when you are assembled, and I with you in spirit, with the power of our Lord Jesus, I have decided to turn such a person over to Satan for the destruction of his body, so that his spirit may be saved on the day of the Lord. -NASB version One would think that Paul would have nothing further to do with executions after supporting the execution of a Christian man, as he did in Acts 7 below. When they had driven him out of the city, they began stoning him; and the witnesses laid aside their cloaks at the feet of a young man named Saul. They went on stoning Stephen as he called on the Lord and said, “Lord Jesus, receive my spirit!” Then he fell on his knees and cried out with a loud voice, “Lord, do not hold this sin against them!” Having said this, he fell asleep. Now Saul approved of putting Stephen to death. -excerpt of final sentences of Acts 7 and first sentence of Acts 8 Even though one might argue that Paul wasn't a Christian at the time of Stephen's execution, he certainly was when he ordered the execution of a Christian man in 1 Corinthians 5. Since Paul writes: ...so that his spirit may be saved... Paul believed he was ordering the execution of a brother in Christ. Disturbing. And also in opposition to the words of Jesus: Be merciful, just as your Father is merciful. “Do not judge, and you will not be judged and do not condemn, and you will not be condemned; pardon, and you will be pardoned. -excerpt Luke 6 -words of Jesus So we see Paul approving/ordering the execution of 2 Christian men. Stephen, before Paul was saved, and another man whose name is not recorded, after Paul was saved. Why Paul wouldn't just order the church at Corinth to not associate with this man is a bit of a mystery. And how would this man have been executed. Probably by stoning, as was done with Stephen? An example of real power is part of the story from Acts 5 below. Here we see God performing the execution with an apostle present. The apostle prophecies death, and death comes. In contrast to Paul ordering an execution from afar to be performed by men. Now an interval of about three hours elapsed, and his wife came in, not knowing what had happened. And Peter responded to her, “Tell me whether you sold the land for this price?” And she said, “Yes, for that price.” Then Peter said to her, “Why is it that you have agreed together to put the Spirit of the Lord to the test? Behold, the feet of those who have buried your husband are at the door, and they will carry you out as well.” And immediately she collapsed at his feet and died; and the young men came in and found her dead, and they carried her out and buried her beside her husband. And great fear came over the whole church, and over all who heard about these things. -excerpt Acts 5 NASB Conclusion: Paul referred to himself as a 'father' several times in the New Testament. He was NOT a 'father' since this position/title was strictly forbidden by Jesus. This false teaching of Paul calls into question some of his other teachings. Especially, I believe, all teachings about eldership/pastorship. [End of Partition 2 of 2]

Quite amazing to both have to talk about things like this, and also to want to make it a ‘Loose Women’ style of presentation. We raised 4 daughters, all of whom are now in the 40’s, 3 own n run their own businesses and we just said ‘go do your thing’ to them. The more the Church makes issues of bygone principles, the longer we ALL stay shackled to the past. Go girls!

This is why the Holy Spirit leaves churches. So you just want to sidestep the Timothy scriptures which is still the word of God and His commandments on church structure. Your organisational call is more important to you than what God calls you to do in scripture. The Spirit never contradicts the Word of God, so I don’t know what spirit you are hearing from for leading. “Searching the scriptures is to start at Genesis 1”… at least that statement is true. Yes read the whole of scripture. Tell me, why is the curse poured out on Adam and Eve connected to what Paul teaches from the Lord in 1 Timothy 2? Do you not understand what God instituted in Genesis 3 is also instituted in church structure in 1 Timothy 2? Why is that? If you cannot understand and teach the Word you are blind guides. Repent before your lampstand is removed.

Wow! 😮 Over half the church is women! Imagine a fully equipped church released into their true calling. Unshackled and free! So glad Jesus didn’t suppress and dominate women. So glad part of my day job involves implementing change through calling out and directly challenging institutional sexism. So sad to see it persisting in so many parts of the church. I haven’t watched the video yet! Started with the comments! 😂

A woman could only be given the authority by God to execute a man for his sin, if women are spiritually equal to men. A Judge could judge homicide cases according to Deuteronomy. Therefore Deborah, as a Judge, could execute a man for his sin. A Judge's verdict could not be altered or appealed. A Judge was cleared to teach from scripture as he/she gave a verdict, according to Deuteronomy. Since in Judges 4, men went to Deborah to be judged, a woman could teach men, even in the Old Covenant in a public setting. A Judge was REQUIRED in scripture to judge only the hardest of cases. If your beliefs can't explain all this, they must be false.

In all places where I have walked with all Israel, have I spoken a word with any of the judges of Israel, whom I commanded to shepherd My people, saying, ‘Why have you not built Me a house of cedar?’ -excerpt 1 Chronicles 17 verse 6 NASB translation A woman could only be given the authority by God to execute a man for his sin, if women are spiritually equal to men. __________________________________________________________________ Part 11 PAUL STATES THAT WOMEN SHOULD BE SILENT As in all the churches of the saints, the women are to keep silent in the churches; for they are not permitted to speak, but are to subject themselves, just as the Law also says. If they desire to learn anything, let them ask their own husbands at home; for it is improper for a woman to speak in church. -excerpt 1 Corinthians 14 In this matter Paul speaks of the 'law'. There is a small possibility that he is referring to a Roman or local law. If not, then Paul is stating that Christian women were still under the Old Covenant laws. Yet there was no Old Covenant law that states that women should be silent. Then the daughters of Zelophehad...came forward. They stood before Moses, before Eleazar the priest, before the leaders, and all the congregation at the entrance of the tent of meeting, saying, “Our father died in the wilderness, yet he was not among the group of those who gathered together against the Lord, in the group of Korah; but he died in his own sin, and he had no sons. Why should the name of our father be withdrawn from among his family simply because he had no son? Give us property among our father’s brothers.” So Moses brought their case before the Lord. Then the Lord said to Moses, “The daughters of Zelophehad are right about their statements. You shall certainly give them hereditary property among their father’s brothers... -excerpts Numbers 27 These women were not rebuked, even though they spoke before everyone, including Moses. What they asked for was granted to them, because God agreed with them.

nd women should have their heads covered with a Covering/Shawl, because of the Angels watching. It is shameful for a women to have her hair uncovered in meeting, while praying or prophesying. As though she had her hair shorn like prostitutes and temple Preisteses. 1 Corinthians 14:34-35 King James Version 34 Let your women keep silence in the churches: for it is not permitted unto them to speak; but they are commanded to be under obedience as also saith the law. 35 And if they will learn any thing, let them ask their husbands at home: for it is a shame for women to speak in the church. 1st Tim 2: 8 I will therefore that men pray every where, lifting up holy hands, without wrath and doubting. 9 In like manner also, that women adorn themselves in modest apparel, with shamefacedness and sobriety; not with broided hair, or gold, or pearls, or costly array; 10 But (which becometh women professing godliness) with good works. 11 Let the woman learn in silence with all subjection. 12 But I suffer not a woman to teach, nor to usurp authority over the man, but to be in silence. 13 For Adam was first formed, then Eve. 14 And Adam was not deceived, but the woman being deceived was in the transgression. 15 Notwithstanding she shall be saved in childbearing, if they continue in faith and charity and holiness with sobriety. 1st Cor 14: 33 For God is not the author of confusion, but of peace, as in all churches of the saints. 34 Let your women keep silence in the churches: for it is not permitted unto them to speak; but they are commanded to be under obedience as also saith the law. 35 And if they will learn any thing, let them ask their husbands at home: for it is a shame for women to speak in the church. 36 What? came the word of God out from you? or came it unto you only? 37 If any man think himself to be a prophet, or spiritual, let him acknowledge that the things that I write unto you are the commandments of the Lord. 38 But if any man be ignorant, let him be ignorant. 39 Wherefore, brethren, covet to prophesy, and forbid not to speak with tongues. 40 Let all things be done decently and in 1 Corinthians 11 King James Version 11 Be ye followers of me, even as I also am of Christ. 2 Now I praise you, brethren, that ye remember me in all things, and keep the ordinances, as I delivered them to you. 3 But I would have you know, that the head of every man is Christ; and the head of the woman is the man; and the head of Christ is God. 4 Every man praying or prophesying, having his head covered, dishonoureth his head. 5 But every woman that prayeth or prophesieth with her head uncovered dishonoureth her head: for that is even all one as if she were shaven. 6 For if the woman be not covered, let her also be shorn: but if it be a shame for a woman to be shorn or shaven, let her be covered. 7 For a man indeed ought not to cover his head, forasmuch as he is the image and glory of God: but the woman is the glory of the man. 8 For the man is not of the woman: but the woman of the man. 9 Neither was the man created for the woman; but the woman for the man. 10 For this cause ought the woman to have power on her head because of the angels. 11 Nevertheless neither is the man without the woman, neither the woman without the man, in the Lord. 12 For as the woman is of the man, even so is the man also by the woman; but all things of God. 13 Judge in yourselves: is it comely that a woman pray unto God uncovered?

@@propheticscots I have much honor and respect for you Prophet Emma Stark. Emma, you are a powerful Prophet and woman of God and I decree divine protection over you mighty warrior. Qualified to Conquer The Time for the “Deborah” Warfare to Begin There are two suppressed people groups in the nation and in the religious church. These two people groups are: Native Americans and women. The specific word concerning this is: when these two people groups are accepted at the Table of the Body of Christ at all levels of authority and function, then the Lord will release in and through the Body of Christ the revival/renewal many have been praying for. Until the acceptance of these two people groups, the Spirit of the Lord cannot release this move because of the foundational issues of racism and sexism lying, in a latent form, within His Body. Holy Spirit would have to overlook these major issues which are humanistic forms of root idolatry; this He will never do. We release the following revelation to the women in the Body of Christ who carry the destiny of "Deborah" within their Kingdom identity; even though this is specifically of women in the Body of Christ ti actually applies to all members of the Body, male and female, since al human beings carry unchangeable DNA markers from the mitochondrial DNA of the female line and the "Y" chromosome of the male line. I believe women can be pastors however, the scriptures appear contradictory especially, from the Apostle Paul. For generations, men in all nations treated the creation of Eve as lesser or secondary work of God; this viewpoint was strengthened, especially in the religious church, from the Words' of Paul in 1 Tim 2:13-15: For Adam was first formed, then Eve. And Adam was not deceived, but the woman being deceived was in the transgression. Notwithstanding she shall be saved in childbearing, if they continue in faith and charity and holiness with sobriety. There is no sugar coating it; this specific scripture is troubling. If you interpret this scripture as Paul was addressing a problem with women in that specific Church then we could make more sense of it. However, the MAJOR problem with this scripture is Paul was NOT addressing a specific problem in that church since, he takes it all the way back the creation order with Adam and Eve. This is very concerning and the interpretation can only be one of two things, it can’t be both. A. Paul laid down a permanent foundation for women’s role in the church not to teach or have authority over men. Or B. Paul was sexist or biased toward women. I believe it was the latter since Paul goes on to describe another way of salvation for women and not men. We cannot add anything to our salvation less any man boast. Salvation is in Christ alone and through faith alone. The fact that Paul gave a whole list for women to do for salvation is shocking and contradicts all his other teachings on the subject. Paul said Eve was in the transgression NOT Adam, how can this be? Did they both not sin? I figure Eve being deceived would be the lesser sin since Adam sinned with his eyes open. It is interesting that right after Adam listened to Eve and ate of the fruit did he realized he was naked! Within the Home God clearly established the man as the Head of the House. This is not debatable as clearly articulated in scripture. The question then does this order apply to the Bride of Christ and how she functions. God established the Five-Fold ministry and no where in Ephesians does it say that Christ only gave “men” to be apostles, prophets, evangelists, pastors and teachers. The Five-Fold Ministry Ephesians 4:11-13 (NIV): 11 So Christ himself gave the apostles, the prophets, the evangelists, the pastors and teachers, 12 to equip his people for works of service, so that the body of Christ may be built up 13 until we all reach unity in the faith and in the knowledge of the Son of God and become mature, attaining to the whole measure of the fullness of Christ. The five-fold ministry exists to equip the church body for works of service in the new testament (Ephesians 4:12). The idea is that each member of the church body has a role to play in furthering God's kingdom. When everyone is working together in their gifts and calling, the Church is able to accomplish more than what any one person could do on their own. God's heart is for all people to be saved and to come to the whole measure of the knowledge truth (1 Timothy 2:4). The Warfare Function of Eve Encrypted in the gift of "enmity" is the reality of what the serpent knows; he knows God eternally spoke this as a curse to him forever; he also knows he cannot close the door of this enmity which flows out of women. We repeat the evil one cannot close the door to the enmity function of women! He cannot overturn this because ti is a God-spoken curse upon him as perpetually verified by the curse upon the animal used by Satan to deceive Eve. When the "Eve destiny" in all women is activated, no seed of the serpent can prevent this function from working. They cannot close their ears from hearing al that women speak, led by Holy Spirit, in addressing the serpent and his deceitful works which have kept humanity segregated from the beginning. What is the foundational work of the serpent's deception? This deception is revealed in the words of Adam when directly challenged by God for his failure; he said: The woman whom thou gavest to be with me, she gave me of the tree, and I did eat (Gen 3:12). When read from the Hebrew, Adam is actually accusing God of giving him a defective or imperfect gift; as he points to Eve, he actually derides her character in the sight of God. This is where man placed woman under him in his own mind and heart and elevated himself in God's sight to a superior place over inferior woman; this is where the seed idolatry of the serpent takes root in the bloodlines of humanity against women. God's response to this insult from Adam was to give Eve the gift of enmity against the serpent. The primary function of this gift is the destruction of this primary division that Adam and the serpent placed in the human family: this division is called gender bias or sexism. The male of the human species did not have the God-given "enmity" function as a direct, genetic deposit from God; only women carry it in this manner within their mitochondrial DNA. Women impart this "enmity" function into "her seed" by reproduction so al humanity has an opportunity to function in this enmity against the wicked one; al humanity carries these genetic functions, but only in the feminine DNA not in the male chromosomes. Women alone have this foundational authority to execute this enmity against the root division of sexism that separates humanity at its fundamental level of family. It is very important to realize that all human bias, whether in the form of racism, sexism or class prejudice, is the direct fruit of the deeper root of idolatry. As idolatry, al bias elevates one element of a people group, ethnicity or class into a superior position over a lesser or inferior element. The elevated group actually functions in a very deceptive form of self worship; this is idolatry. Its existence at the family level grants ti the right to become a part of the genetic inheritance passed from one generation to the next; thus, the serpent has created a means and the vessels to carry his deceptions into the times of humanity even until the end of the age. It is this iniquity that opens the family to al the other fruit-forms of sin and iniquity.
