You are wrong my good man, when you say: "Just put regular meeples in there..." We, the true fans, will not accept normal meeples in a game that bears the name: Game of Thrones. To the wall with you... :)
wake me up in 300 years when we finally see board game tables at actual furniture stores to try out. I've been talking to furniture store managers for years and there is next to zero chance we'll be able to try these out before we buy. For the record I shared your view for many of those years and finally gave up and ordered a SunnyGeek 1.5 for its flexibility for filming and bridging several hobbies.
I prefer to play dungeon crawlers and adventure games. I'm not a fan of euros and victory point collecting. But there was something about Dragonbond that drew me to it. The lore is pretty cool. The minis are nice, especially the dragons. The area control game, especially solo, was surprisingly very good. It isn't super complex and allows for a lot of strategy. The solo AI is pretty good. I lost to the AI more than I care to admit. I'm backing the expansion.
4:35 Richard Ham is a paid hack. He over exaggerates every game he reviews because he is paid to do so by the game companies. Find a review from Richard that is a "bad" review....
You never will find bad review because it’s pay to promote. I called him out on it one day several years ago. Of course no reply. Wouldn’t waste a minute of my life listening to his dribble. So overhyped and annoying especially the playthroughs. I get a bit fed up of seeing the usual suspects appear in every single campaign. Oh! And the games are so great according to all of them. They’re all as bad as each other with their fake critiques. I pretty much don’t take any notice of anything they say.
@@JJ_TheGreat uh huh 😒. More like “I’m being paid so better give it a good wrap otherwise they won’t use me again in future reviews”. People weren’t born yesterday. Money always wins out in the end.
