How did you market yourself as just a childbirth educator? I'd love to start there, before becoming a doula. But I just wouldn't know how to find couples in need of classes

I have a video here about marketing a birth business. It goes over some things to consider right at the beginning of creating a birth business. Give that one a view and it will give you lots of ideas. We also have a full business program for birth workers too where we go over things in detail. I'm sure if you were to ask several pregnant people in your community they'd tell you they took classes somewhere. You just need them to choose YOU! Lamaze is an International organization if that interests you and is well-known everywhere. But I always encourage people to choose a certification that feels in alignment with WHAT and HOW they want to teach and go from there.
