The honest truth is it is going to be worse than 2008. People are living on borrowed time. Just wait till all the food shortages and layoffs kick in. Most of us will be living in tents at some point and our currency will be worthless.
Fortunately the current data doesn't support this happening. We are starting to see a cool down but all the levers that caused the 2008 crash don't exist right now, primarily being the subprime mortgages through predatory lending. We will have to wait to see where the economy goes and how the Fed responds over the next year.
