How good is Southend as a fit for older retired people looking for a quiet location with easy access to amenities, including condos and rental apartments? And how good is the infrastructure with the growing population? Roads, electricity, traffic, noise, sewer system, water snd gas lines?
Charlotte is still growing at a crazy rate but the crash is coming. The demoncrats are destroying the country and unless they quit cheating in elections there is nothing that's gonna stop it. So, very soon there are going to be a LOT of vacant luxury apartments. That's alright, the criminals will be happy to squat them.
Love your vids on Charlotte projects and on the growth of the Queen City. I live in Durham but have always loved Charlotte even as a kid. Incredible to watch the transformation of this "Queen". You grow, girl!
Hello Ryan. Love your Charlotte vids. As a young boy I had relatives who had a house and owned land just off Carmel Road (now called Pellyn Woods I believe). By the way, that land was outside the city limits when I was a boy. Think about that now. I remember Charlotte as just a big "country town" with small skyline, lots of beautiful neighborhoods and trees but that was about it. I was always jealous of other states who had large cities and NC had none. Well look at the Queen now. It is almost unrecognizable from the Charlotte of yore. Amazing to see the transformation of tall towers, national companies, public transit/rail lines, pro teams, cooking schools and all the huge growth that is occurring there. And Charlotte/Dougles airport the 6th busiest in the world? Almost unfathomable. NC finally has its' true city and it is Named Charlotte. You go, Queen City!
😲 " WHY do some politicos and the like consider North Carolina to be part of The Midwest? Here in The Midwest, both of the Carolinas are more widely viewed as part of The South. "
Great video. Idk how Charlotte natives will be able to afford to live in the city at all pretty soon. Smh that said, some of the projects look like they will be really nice
The Sycamore building I didn't even know that thank you. No wonder I see all that construction. Why they been all these luxury apartment. We need more luxury hotel.
Your GDP #'s are way off. North Carolina GDP is approaching $600 million, twice that of SC, please get your facts straight when producing a comparison. Otherwise it just makes you look ignorant. And Rock Hill nor SC will ever host the Panthers training facility. RH presented phony #'s much like you did here, except they permanently pissed off Teper with theirs.
As a resident of Tega Cay, I can assure you that the Buster Boyd Bridge is in the wrong direction if you want to go into Charlotte. Tega Cay is on the North Side of the lake. Also,, There are 3 towns surrounding Lake Wylie. Tega Cay, Rock Hill, and the town of Lake Wylie.
You are right I made a mistake about taking the bridge from Tega Cay! Still a pain in the butt to cross! I think Rock Hill is a big stretch to say it's on the lake. A tiny fingernails width of the city limits touches the actual lake. Most of the actually city is pretty far down the Catawba River.
@@RyanMcGrann they said they want to destroy one part of 277 and they can merge to South End also they want to build more commercial and connect South End
