I can see my home at 6:49! To the right of the Queensboro Bridge! And yes its so personal, I never felt more ready to spend this kind of money, i know i can , i jsut need to learn how! I am excited to get my first home! No not in NYC , we going west to NV! ( family is there as well)

I really like your attitude and how you explain the emotions of buying/selling a home. I'm looking to buy now and missed out on a house the last couple of years, but I'm also afraid of things falling further price wise. However, things aren't as black and white and as long as I can afford the place and stay long term it may not matter much.

“People like to time the real estate market.” I couldn’t agree more! Who wouldn’t want to buy low and sell high to obtain that nice profit, but sometimes listening to others can cost you your home! I agree… the best time to buy a house is when it makes sense to the buyer! We bought in 2021 and had to over bid… had we waited we wouldn’t have a home now and would have been paying more for our apartment rent than our mortgage. Yes, I would have liked not to overbid, but I am glad we did. Regardless, like Andrew said, “the house market goes up, down and all around”….. all we gotta do is wait if we are interested to sell.

So true Andrew, don't follow the trend am buying now it's the best time for me no more competition and overpaying.tge builders have lowered the home prices from early this year, the house was gonna cost me 700k and now in the 500k's.

I signed another lease where I live. If I break the lease it will cost me 1500. I'm hoping by next December I can buy a place. I'm worried all these investors and corporations will buy up all the housing in Vegas once prices drop.. Can you help when I'm ready to buy. I don't want to get screwed.

Andrew, first of all thank you for the great content.Ive probably watched all your videos from the las two years. geat stuff. Me and my wife love the transpacency and the point of view ( "not a guru, or a fortune teller, LOL). we are from florida, moving to Texas and looking to buy by beggining of 2023, got the loan for $600k but probably will be on the $500's,we are looking for something like farming or something with a pond off Dalas (radius of an hour and a half). But the question is "should or shoul we not do it as of now? We pay $3200 for rent at thehome we are (if it would make any difference on the move). Sorry for the long message, hope it reaches you. Thank you again for the great videos, you are the man ( loved the remorce video on the Bentley, that was so us too!)

Andrew I have a question, we live in Virginia and our current area is still on fire! There is still a shortage of houses but the prices are dropping slightly. Back in May we had planned on putting our house on the market but have held off. The only thing that is stopping us from selling is we have a really really good monthly payment. $450!! My question is, would we still be able to get a good interest rate AKA a low monthly payment if we have an excellent credit score? We would also be putting a huge chunk of the profits from the house as a down payment. I wish we would've sold in 2020! At the time I didn't understand real estate at all (my husband owned our home before he met me) and have since been educating myself on everything that I can.😂 still can't believe how low interest rates got during the beginning of the pandemic. I know that most people pay a lot more than $450 a month so I want to look at this as realistic as I can. So far our monthly quotes have been about $1,000 monthly, which is the normal for a lot of people, but not us. We only have about 30k left on our home. Thanks for your videos! I really enjoy them, and have learned SO much! Thank you!

It's really a poor example: Joe bought at the top in 2008 and sold for more in 2021 does not make buying 2008 a good move. The answer to whether buying now is simple: avoid as best as you can. This is the most unaffordable housing market ever. Why would any reasonable common people buy now?

I think the whole industry is predatory. My parents and both sets of grandparents owned their homes since the 50s and 60s were the best economical times. Now we are on the brink of becoming a welfare state and that is exactly the game at play.
