Yea your generation had it so lucky we boomers never saw 3% in fact my first house with the 2nd worst DC major, Jimmy the Peanut, was 19% can you imagine that? After that in the 80 90 and 2000s the average was 6-12%.
@@zachurich5046 Yep sure was 32k I believe you want to know the interest rate, hold on to your whatever, it was 19%. Oh and I was making 8k a year. So the home was about 4x my salary. so if your making the average 75k per year today your first home should be around 300k. And trust me there are tons of homes where I live in Florida that are 300k or less, and far nicer then my little starter home. See everything is just the same as it was back in the day when I bought my first home. Only the media and the Dumbocrats keep trying to tell you the softest generation to ever live how tough it is. It really isn't trust me,
@@jeffhallii7907 Yea and I as a lucky boomer bought homes starting in the 70 right through the 90s. And guess what Zers interest rates were 7 8 9 10 percent. Oh and I won't tell you the 12 I paid during the second worst President Carters reign of terror on the working man
That's a good point. The whole "law" of supply and demand argument depends on basically a fair market and there is nothing fair about this market. Everything from a tiny number of people controlling huge numbers of houses to mortgage back securities controlling the prices of millions of distressed properties to years of artificially low interest rates to government intervention keeping prices high; there is just nothing "fair" about any of it.
Really now and tell me please and no once can answer that where did those houses go? Did they die, were they burned to the ground? And do you think maybe the current guy in DC had anything to do with everything doubling in price since 2021 when he took office? And this is just running cover for him. Oh and now that home prices are dropping why is that are those homes that were taken off the market back on?
@@vietnamvet4533 since when do money and the rich care about politics? Republican and Democrats are both corrupt. Thinking that one party is more responsible than the other makes sure you don’t discover the real culprits!
Artifical you say? Then do tell. Where are all of these mysterious empty properties? Because all the homes I see are occupied. You can't seriously believe that. Lol use your brain.
@@scottdavis3571 Right listen to Scott he know everything price wise goes up. That kind of non thinking is why prices go up. Try the reverse start thinking and less buying.
Or don't rent at all, build yourself a kickazz van or motorhome and don't pay their mortgage interest, don't pay their property taxes, don't pay their homeowners insurance premiums, just bank all your money every month and become financially independent in your little travel home that you own from day one and give them all the finger as your bank account get fatter all the time.
And the most important thing you forgot is that the housing market goes up and now guess what it is on the down stroke, here in Florida you can't give a home away, or a car or truck. So me who has been waiting for 3 years to buy a truck, not a home, so over that, is just waiting to see how much lower prices can go. I am really enjoying Joe's economy the more pain the better!
@@vietnamvet4533 So somehow you think the President goes over to your local car lot and tells the owner every morning what to charge you for his cars? I suppose then Joe Biden walks across the street to the grocery store and gives them their price list for eggs, butter, and milk too... You gotta stop with the misinformation dude (usually referred to as "Lying") it's forcing you to live in a cartoon strip world where the President of the United States is an all-powerful controller of everything, even the sun.
Gee let me see should I buy now as housing prices are dropping or wait, should I buy a car or truck now as prices are dropping, gee I don't know, can you help me.
I think it's time to make it more appealing for potential buyers. Real estate can be quite the rollercoaster! the stress and uncertainty are getting to me. I think I'll cut rents to attract potential buyers and exit the market, but i'm at crossroads if to allocate the entire $680k liquidity value to my stock portfolio?

@@ericgrantl It's often true that people underestimate the importance of financial advisors until they feel the negative effects of emotional decision-making. I remember a few summers ago, after a tough divorce, when I needed a boost for my struggling business. I researched and found a licensed advisor who diligently helped grow my reserves despite inflation. Consequently, my reserves increased from $275k to around $750k.

Hello Freddy, I have a question just let you know I love your videos to put the great work but my first home should I buy a single-family home or I duplex? And by the way, I’m in Florida.
Fun facts! I can't afford a home or rent, I have lived in a squat and / or a car for the last 10 years. That is the only reason I have been able to stay in business, and I am just now about to bring my patents to market... but bottom line, even if I make a couple million now, who cares. . I'm in my mid / late 40s, my life is over. Too late for a family and kids, ( and women only want Chad anyway ) and besides, we are headed for a global nuclear war over a tiny strip of land in Ukraine, so who cares.
You should do neither, you should build a kickazz camper for yourself and don't pay their mortgage interest or their property taxes or their rents, bank all your money and give them all the finger as you live for next to nothing in your mobile home that you own from Day one.
