I recently tried this piece of garbage for about two weeks. I used it on a daily basis. DOES NO WORK. I have a 24x15 above ground pool. After using the Plus, the pool floor looked like it was clean, but the Plus actually just sucked up some dirt but dispersed the rest only to settle mere hours later in the same place it was originally. Additionally, the Plus would CONSTANTLY get stuck and needed way too much attention and prodding to keep it running across the pool bottom. The plus also cannot be used with the pool pump on. I GAVE it away to a friend, but I was kind enough to advise this person of my findings should they want to find a vacuum that actually works. JUNK. DO NOT BUY. I ended up with a Dolphin Cayman, to which I added the extra fine filter. This unit actually DOES pick up and hold onto fine particles, though its wall climbing abilities are more than somewhat questionable. I should have bought the Dolphin Escape and save a few $$. I am so happy to be able to advise others about these two different units (Aiper and Dolphin). After all the 'GREAT REVIEWS' I read and watched about the Aiper, it turns out to be a TOTAL FAIL. Avoid at all costs. Spend a little more money and choose another brand. Probably ANY OTHER brand! I can't emphasize it enough, absolutely disgusted with the Aiper. Oh yeah, GOOD LUCK if you have to contact Aiper's "CUSTOMER SERVICE". You will have an easier time communicating with a rock you dig up from your back yard. Apologies to the rock, I am not trying to insult you.Aiper's "CUSTOMER SERVICE". You will have an easier time communicating with a rock you dig up from your back yard. Do NOT buy an Aiper Vacuum. I bought a home, has a pool and an Aiper Seagull Pro. It broke. Supposedly warrantee is good for 2 years according to the serial number? NOPE, ONLY for the original purchaser. How many people buy homes that have a pool and have a pool vacuum system? I ended up taking it apart and it's stamped that it was built in Feb 2023. They offered me are-built for $400 that has a 3 month warranty. NOPE as this one broke within 7 months, or a new one with $70 off of retail. NOPE NOPE NOPE.
The Aiper Pool cleans extremely well - impressive packaging very professional - now for the bad news, if your pool has as many curves, this may not be the right product. It's a shame because it sucks the floor extremely well. It just can't figure the curves so it always clean the same place over and over... A shame...
Just tried Seagull Plus on my above ground 24 x 15. Pool started out pretty clean. Constantly getting stuck. Failed to cover all areas of pool. Watched it pass over same area of pool floor THREE TIMES, that had a bit of sand/dirt, did not pick up. Save your money, Do it right. Vacuum manually.
Thanks for taking time to compare and show the different models! Just some friendly feedback it’s difficult to make out what you are saying at times which made it hard to follow.
