I got a brand new last summer, from apple store, for 600$, i could get the 14 ot 13... But i cant trust yet the post COVID aera, and man everybody wants exchange their phones wit me, even my brother who got a new 13 last month,,,, i dnt know, here in Iran i even can sell it for 700$, thers a ridiculous demand for it
Nahh fr I got a beat up 8 plus by it still works like a charm but I just ordered a iPhone 12 and giving this one to my mom she has a 6+ that glitches out a lot
I just got my very first iPhone for my birthday last week. Price range was a couple hundred dollars. During Black Friday my Mom purchased a brand new iPhone 12 from our service provider for $300. It was originally $500
Its battery is more than enough for regular users. Camera open swiftly. Performance top notch. Loudspeaker loud enough. Display very natural. Never felt short of brightness. It’s a perfect value phone in 2024.

I find it funny that people are upgrading from this, whereas I have a 7 and am upgrading to it! Incredible design and camera , plus I don’t see big enough differences to get the 15 😄
The guy said battery life is bad. It’s so much better upgrading from the iPhone 7 because I used to have the 7 the battery life is so much better because I have the iPhone 12.
@@campolindo18 The 12 is 500€, the 13 is 600€ the 14 is 750€ and the 15 is 850€. The difference in price is small in each jump. You pay more you get more. Waiting for you to find more excuses for your stupid comment
Awesome video! I loved the iPhone 12, but when the 14 came out, I started thinking that it’s time to get a new one, but I decided to hold off another year and bought an iPhone 15 Pro just after launch. The photo quality on the new iPhone 15 models is incredible. Compared to previous models. After watching this video I’m glad I did not hand down my iPhone 12 to my mom or dad. Both of them upgraded to the iPhone 13.
@@remixthebeats7526 Significantly better display, more visually pleasing screen due to narrower bezels. lighter in weight and a noticeable performance upgrade.
@@remixthebeats7526 iPhone 12 also introduced mag safe wireless charging. A slight upgrade to regular wireless charging but also can add accessories like the extra battery or physical apple wallet.
I am using the iPhone 12, & I love it. I just got it used January 2023, & it’s going strong. When I do upgrade, I think I’ll go for the 14, but as for right now it’s a solid phone.
There's something about the base model 12 that no any other iPhone models can replicate. I bought the pro model around three years ago when the 13 just came out and I just ended up swapping it for a base model 12, in between the 11 and 13, there's something about the 12 that these two models lack yet at the same time, it has distinct features from both models that make it a whole lot better. I'm about to upgrade from an iPhone 12 to the 14 or 14 pro, and I assure you that if you're getting the 12 around this point of time, it's soooo worth it. I've been using the 12 for 2 years and a half now and I still love it to this day!
My iPhone XR stopped charging randomly. I started researching the iPhone 12 and the 13 mini to see what I wanted to get. I took it to a shop to get an estimate to fix my XR, and it turns out the port just needed cleaned out. I really do love the old iPhones though. I just don’t see the point in upgrading before you have to. I think my wife is going to get the 12 upgrading from an SE. She’ll definitely be happy 😊
Still a great phone to get for its cheaper price if you dont care about the latest and greatest as it will probably lasts you for another 2 - 3 years 👍🏻
Sent this video to my buddy who got an iPhone 12 a couple of years ago and he doesn't use any apps except Google His battery health is still 100%. I couldn't believe it. My six month old iPhone 14 is down to 99% battery health, but I have 53 apps. We checked under cellular usage the total talk time and I'm already double in six months what he used in two years
Got a 12 with 128 storage. Works great. Siri sucks and I hate it. I hope Apple fixes Siri in the big update coming. If you’re ever buying a new phone and plan to keep it for the long haul like a smart person would, make sure to get 128 very minimum. Get 256 or 512 for storage to play it safe. Keeping my 12 till it’s no longer supported even if I have to get a new battery. Very reliable and will do everything I need vs a new iPhone.
If there’s anything I could ask for more would be brighter display, more ram, and louder speakers. Other than that, I have no reason to upgrade at all. Battery health is at 91 and makes it through the day with casual use. Great phone I’d recommend
well sometimes people just prefer the layout of iphones, like me, I have used iphone all my life and can not switch to samsung as it is far too foreign. I know samsung is better but I prefer apple.@@josephr.8622
I have an iPhone 12 since October ‘22 and it’s honestly great . The only thing I can complain about is battery life . However, I do think that regular iPhone 15’s are a better value if you’re willing to spend the extra amount . Thanks for the video.
I am watching this video on iPhone SE after ordering iPhone 12 on Costco. Certainly pleased to learn my value for money calculation was correct. Less than half of the money to be paid for iPhone15 - Thnaks iPhone12.
I went from 5 to 12 after the staff at the Apple store wanted to take a selfie with me to prove that I existed. Paid 300 für 128 GB refurbished "excellent" !
12 Pro user here. I bought mine new in 2020, and after a battery replacement, it’s been rock solid for me. I plan on keeping it for another year or so; the 15 Pro just didn’t offer enough features to justify me dropping a grand on it.
This comment made no sense as someone who started from the iPhone 11 then went to the 13 and finally stopped on the 15 pro max I can easily say the pro max has been the best by a landslide not only more features but better when it come to speed and all around everything and your going to sit here and say the iPhone 15 did not offer anything compared to a 12 okay buddy right 😭😭😭
I just bought a 12 mini yesterday and so far I love it! I can deal with the battery and just get a powerbank But I upgraded it from me suffering SE 2nd gen
I absolutely love this phone…had 4 iPhones before this one and it’s quite durable, dropped it 3 times before getting a case 🤦🏾♀️ & it survived 😂 not one scratch or crack
just upgraded from a shattered front and back iPhone XS appears to be slightly faster but that's really it I will have to use it more but so far a nice phone I got a purple 12 128 gb for 250 so not bad plus has 87 percent battery health
Imo the 13 series’s are the best iphones there are. A 13 pro would be better. (Where im at a 12 pro max is ~$450 and the 13 pro is ~$475 if you meed a bigger screen 12 pro max isnt a bad option

Watching this video on my iPhone 12 and I also own the iPhone 15 pro max. iPhone 12 is still a solid phone and I use it more than my 15 pro max in 2024.
The 12 is still an awesome phone in 2024. The most underrated feature of the 12 series is the "feel" of the phone. Apple struck a PERFECT balance between performance and phone design. The physical depth, height, width and weight of the phones are PERFECT. I'll gladly sacrifice ProMotion for the feel of the phone any day. Samsung phones are a tad too slim, but they nail the weight, height and weight.
Have u ever felt promotion? Or a iphone 14 pro? I thought the same thing but pro motion and the feel of pro phones after the 11 all feel hella comfortable
@@D3great12 I've upgraded every years since the iPhone 12 Pro. I thought ProMotion would make up for the lack of feel of the phone, but it doesn't. The iPhone 15 Pro weights the same as the 12 Pro, but it's slimmer, thicker and lacks the physical SIM. I've gotten rid of my 13 Pro, 14 Pro and recently my 15 Pro. Nothing beats the feel of the 12 Pro. It's just perfect, even with the 60Hz screen, which on iPhones is buttery smooth. I was hoping the S24 would have better design, but it got slimmer and taller than the S23, unfortunately.
Bought iPhone 12 on release date (deep into the Covid lockdowns frenzy) and I still have 0 reasons to upgrade, anything after that is an iteration of the same phone with very slight improvements. I guess if you are all about social media and you want the best of the best camera it might be worth the upgrade other than that an upgrade would be money wasted. As for buying an iPhone 12 in 2024 I would say no as they will shortly start leaving out new software features and ultimately discontinue support in a couple of years or so.
I have the 12 but its not activated right now since I am using the samsung a54 phone but I am debating on just switching over to the 12 instead since I did get airpods 2 and it would make sense to switch back to it. Battery life seems a lot better on the 12 than the a54 in a way.
I just went back to using an iPhone 12 from my Z Fold 5 because of the weight. Its amazing how light the iPhone is in comparison. And the 12 is running nice and smooth. Im just a little worried about the storage. I have the 64gb version.
I've bought 15 pro max not so long ago, but returned it because there wasn't that much difference for me tbh Compared to my 12, the 15 pro max had higher refresh rate, brighter display, better camera (but not that much better honestly) and overall felt much faster, sure But it still kinda feels like the same phone at the end of the day Not worth $1500 that I had to pay for it I will probably upgrade when they will add on device AI like ChatGPT of something like that
