Nick I bought the 8 plus and due to my carpal tunnel it was killing with the size and weight so I returned it and went back to my old iphone 7 4.7 inch. My question is how is the battery on the iPhone 8 compared to my iPhone 7?I I know the 8 plus battery is a beast but my iPhone 7 battery is horrible. Is the iPhone 8 battery really better than the iPhone 7?
E J I had the SE, then upgraded to the 7+ just before the 8 came out. I love my 7+ but I should’ve waited for the 8+. Just because it is a little faster, better battery life, and I’m thinking it may have better call quality. If you can go for the 8+. That’s just my opinion.
Leah S. I’d go for 7+ because I have to consider my budget. I just want a bigger display so I could just go for 6s+ because performance is still good on A9 but I don’t think it’s a good upgrade so I’d go for 7+ 😁
Good video! I feel the 7+ is better because it's a bigger screen, better resolution. Not only that but portrait mode and a bigger battery (though the A11 is more efficient)
Currently using an iPhone 7 Plus while my girlfriend uses an 8. Seems to me that she prefers my phone to snap portraits rather than her own. The bigger screen is also more accommodating when it comes to binge watching dramas or movie continuously. Design wise, I’d have to admit that the iPhone 8 looks and feels better. Still, I’m happy to own a 7 Plus and I honestly believe it will continue to receive updates for 3 more years at least

the iphone 8 has better battery indeed. but i would go for the iphone 7 if it doesn't have that hissing problem or the mic/audio problem. there's just too much risk in buying one. therefore, i choose 8 albeit more expensive.
Not really. The iPhone 8 has much better performance a better camera, the screen might have a lower resolution and is a little smaller then it is on the 7plus but the colors are better on the 8 and it also has True Tone.
I will pick iPhone 8 definitely. I had already made a similar decision between iPhone 6s plus and iPhone 7 when I went for iPhone 7 instead of iPhone 6s plus
This video really helped me. At first I didn’t know if I wanted a bigger screen or a smaller screen. I also really liked to double camera on the iPhone 7. The only down side of the iPhone seven is the scratches. I first wanted the iPhone 8 Plus but then I realized it was really expensive. So then I wanted the 8...... but the 8 just seams small. So...... I think I would get the iPhone 7 pulse.
Why the jet black makes the 7 look like an 8. When he had both phones up in 0.36 they look like both had glass back and u had it right the first time 4k 60 for the first time on a smart phone.

I've chosen the iPhone 8, 64GB (Space Gray) just because of two reasons: 1) Upgrading from the iPhone 4S 8GB :D Yes old. 2) I like the smaller version better and I'd rather have the newest faster model, than a large dual camera that is exactly the same like on the 8 which has a slightly better quality on the pics, just that it cannot do a portrait mode, also other reasons like: waterproof, wireless charge...etc. Again thank you for this amazing review! This was a great help on whether to go over budget with an iPhone 8. Happy to stay in budget with the 7plus. One test you're missing, which is what originally drew me to the 7plus is the "stubby fingers test". Always struggle with text because of my stubby little fingers!

I own iphone 8 and its been almost 6 months i bought used 1 year old and its really good phone Pros Camera 3D touch True tone display Powerful gpu Smooth animation Regular updates Haptic engine Cons Battery( its fine not above average) Slow charging App opening times sometimes is long compared to one plus devices like one plus 5 or above
yall are saying iphone 7 plus is better just because the screen is bigger. But the main reason is because yall are mad that u just got the iphone 7+ and already there's another phone. So all you do is talk shit about the iphone 8 in comparison videos
Whiz Tech not at all there’s just not enough reasons to justify an upgrade to the iPhone 8 especially since it’s smaller and people who are used to the plus wouldn’t want a smaller phone.
SuperSmashMaster43 yeah but that's no reason to talk crap about the 8. The only thing about the 8 is that its smaller.if there is a "too small", there is also a "too big" And people who think the 7 plus is too big for them will definately switch over to the new 8
RockaHero XL nice bro! I’ve had mine nearly 2 months and battery and performance is amazing and I’m even more happy I got the 8 now that the; SE, 6, 6S and 7 are having those performances decreases for battery reasons
Update: iPhone 8 battery isn’t as good and performance is slightly slower. In 4-5 months I’ve lost 3% battery capacity loss with heavy use everyday. However still very fast and battery lasts 3-7 hours depending what I’m doing
What's better, a 128 gb iPhone 7 plus or a 64 gb iPhone 8? I'm torn between the two, will be getting one of these on Christmas (depends on my choice) and it's gonna be the first apple device I'll own.

I had the 6S and I upgraded to iPhone 8, the changes was minimal then I change the iPhone 8 for an iPhone 7 plus, I like the portrait mode, bigger screen and the battery of 7 plus is better than iPhone 8.
I had 8 plus but got stolen. Now looking to downgrade a to btween 7plus and 8. I love camera and bonus 4k @60fps on the 8 but also tempted by the big screen, portrait mode and bigger ram on 7plus. I think will get the 8. Question though about the 8, doesnt the RAM fill up quickly before i download all my favorite apps since its only 2GB?

DipsyMum29 bigger battery doesn’t mean better battery life. I’ve seen battery tests of the 8 having a better battery life than the 7 plus it’s the processor it’s more efficient on the 8
Okay so i am looking to buy a new phone tomorrow. I could get the iPhone 7 plus, the iPhone 8 out the galaxy s8 all four the same price. Which one is my best bet if I'm looking for camera quality, battery life, quality screen, water proofing, fast charging and good speakers? Thanks!

iPhone 8 for sure call quality is very important over camera performance its a phone first. if you want a camera buy a real photographers camera. ( 8's speakers are 25% louder)
If your not worried about the camera performance then u can save yourself a lot of money and buy a android, iPhone is only better because of their camera performance.
Well if you dont care about portrait mode, the telephoto camera, a bigger display -and wireless charging- then go with the iphone 8 edit: forgot the iphone 8 had wireless charging
If ya'll are looking to maintain the premium essence of an iPhone, I'd recommend the iPhone 8. But if ya'll are craving for a *bigger* screen then the iPhone 7Plus/8Plus is your best bet! ;) Thanks for the review, Nick!
