🤝 amazing episode once again! Might just be me but I love the ads they seem retro like how they use to be back then! Probably what you were going for idk but that’s how I see it lol
Jimmy, thank you! Glad you like the commercials... Matt is a stickler for everything. :-) Be sure to check out Awesome Card Shop, Top Shelf, & Kollectible Kings!
I spy 🕵️♀️ in the junk wax garage 93 upper deck Jeter rc and 93 upper deck factory set which I would crack 1 in 20 factory sets is the gold holograms which is a highly sought after Jeter. Beware though if your set is the gold be very careful watch for bricking and if so try refrigerated method overnight and slide the cards apart versus pulling or you will get heavy snow flaking damage. You also have there a 92 topps factory basketball set shaq rc and look for the shaq gold and last but not least the 91 upper deck baseball for sp1 Jordan. I sure you know all this ty but I throw out my I spy challenge.
@@CHASINGCARDBOARD but honestly crack that factory set definitely worth the risk Or chance I should say of hitting a gold hologram set and that break up is easy money on eBay if your looking to sell. But I would hold the jeter and grade it one of Jeters tougher cards to pull in hi grade condition besides the so of course.
Is there a website? or any contact info? I have a lead on a collection that appears to be 100x beyond my scope (over 8 Mill cards for sale from a single collection)
Holding Sealed 86 Fleer Basketball "wax" would have paid your kids schooling... wish I would have held on to some... how did I not see how Iconic 86 Fleer Basketball was at the time?
Great show and really like how the kids are into collecting! I saw some 71 football cards in there, let me know if you are looking to sell any of those Ty. Once again, great episode and really enjoying this series!
I can still remember buying a box of 1992 Fleer baseball off of one of those pallets at Sam's, might have been the very first full box of cards I ever got with some of my lawnmowing money.
This show is awesome! I believe in a day where junk wax will be valuable just because so many people have nostalgia for cards like those. It was a more pure time to collect
PSA 6, all right! 😉 I still need to get myself to a card show. I'd be hitting up the $1 bins looking for some of my favorite players. This was a very enjoyable episode. Thanks!
Just discovered this today. The quality and content got me hooked. Keep up the great work. Looking forward to see this on TV so many more people can enjoy.
Another great episode. I really enjoy the honesty. Not everything is s treasure or a hit but the journey makes the hobby fun for all. Great work guys. Love the show.
Epic as usual, just love it.Was excited for Tyson to go to his first show, did he buy?.I have been to a few semi local shows recently (75-100 tables),and noticed there are so many kids at the smaller shows.gives me hope for the hobby future. Thanks for the book tip Mike something that even slips my mind at times.Looking forward to more chasing.
Loving this series. Really great job on production and content. If I lived in Idaho I would be banging down your door for a job to help sort all those collections. I love doing that. Keep the episodes coming!
Just watched all 3 episodes last night and they're fantastic. This is right up my alley. Love the search, the background, and everyone involved in this has a genuine love of the hobby. Vintage, junk wax, modern... all good stuff. I really enjoy going along for the ride with you guys. Thanks for sharing and keep up the great videos!
Love going to card shows! I usually spend half the day socializing! 😁 When I saw the title I was expecting to see you pulling cards out of a dumpster! 🤣
I am really digging this series...and then the mention of PackGeek, I had no idea he wasn't doing his own channel anymore. Kinda bummed about that but at the same time, he's moving on up which is awesome. I have a funny story that's maybe not great for you guys....I was trying to pull up your channel on the youtube app on my tv, and using the search function I typed in "chasing cardboard", and the predictive text kept changing what I was typing to "chasing the cardboard butterfly: addicted to porn". Just something you guys might want to be aware of if you're not already, lol
Great production for an awesome channel that I just found. Watched a few of your videos and seen Idaho and was curious and now see Sandpoint! I'm just a rock throw down here in Coeur D' Alene! Continue the awesome content and passion for a dream job we all wish we had!
Great stuff Ty! This series is better than most TV shows out there. But, I’m biased as a sports card collector. American Pickers mashed with cardboard.
This is one of the most high quality entertaining channels I’ve come across on RU-vid. You guys should have a show on discovery or something. I would for sure watch something weekly. Really great job. Thank you for this.
Another great episode. Great to see Mike on there too. Can’t wait to see what’s next. If you’re ever in central CA while looking for collections, hit me up. Mike has my number. At least he used to 😉
These episodes are some of the best sports card hobby content you'll see out there. You guys are raising the bar for quality videos in the future - keep it up!
First off, thanks for watching…. Second, I’d say focus on the players you love… and start building a collection of cheaper cards for your favorite team/players. Third, trade trade trade! Whether it’s school, card show, neighborhood, etc…start trading to build a sweeter collection. Fourth, search for cards in 10c, 25c, and dollar boxes at card shop and shows. You can build a really nice collection that way! Fifth, buy a few boxes. :-) Good luck and let us know how you do!!
Hey, I was your guys’ 800th like on this video! Great job on this one, guys! Love seeing the young kids at the card shows that will be the future of our hobby! Also like how you guys include so much information in these episodes! It’s all super important information for people that are just getting into or getting back into the hobby! Keep up the good work!
I just found your channel a couple days ago but I’m having so much fun binge watching all your videos! Lol. I’m learning so much and it’s so cool to see fellow collectors who think and act similar! I see my people in these videos lol
Just started watching your videos I subscribe to Junk Wax Hero and he has mentioned your channel many times. Love how each video is like an episode of a TV show. Thanks Johnny
