These Sideshow clones still hold up pretty well. I have the Deluxe 501st Clone and love it. Great video! It will be interesting to see the comparison between the sideshow and hot toys.

This figure was released in 2011-2012. I bought Cody, Bly, and Rex at the same time through sideshow.

Love your content. Its great how straight forward and honest you are with your opinion but not with a negative attitude. eg. pointing out if the figure warrants the high price tag but not hating someone who wants to buy it and totally upfront with the possible problems with the figure

Hey jedha quick tip for loose blaster, if you squeeze at the hinge it tightens it so it won’t flop down so easy it won’t stay tight forever but should help with posing

Since I started collecting 1/6 in April/May, I’ve bought about 8 clones (commanders, Waxer and Boil set) and sold my Sideshow Rex for the hot toys version. I really like them. They can be loose but they look great, tons of accessories and headsculpts and their articulation is good too! I’ve managed to get an Airborne trooper this week. I don’t think Hot Toys will release many clones soon. I’d love to pick up a deluxe one for a reasonable price so I can get the Gatling heavy gun and the backpack (veteran or 501st would go nicely)!

Great video commentary. I was about to make that purchase of the early version of Commander Cody but at that time didn't have the funds. But glad that Hot Toys is releasing it besides the blaster rifle but I was looking forward to the jet-pack overall but still a buy for me. Liking the other Clone Commanders but I'm not sure if I want to pay... but it depends. Hopefully, Hot Toys will come out with them. But looking forward to getting the Clone Troopers overall trying to make that build in addition to making that Poser of The Week.

You mean you hope they are coming. Nothing is for sure with HTs until they actually solicit the figures.

HTs actually helped SSCs develop the trooper body. It’s not a clone body. SSCs just has questionable manufacturing tolerances.

Good evening, I just purchased my Commander Cody, new in the package. Regarding changing the hands, feet, head, etc, do we just pull them off/out, or is there a special technique to remove theses items? Thank you for your time and help.

I think the only reason they went back with the Clones is that Marvel movies are currently on hold, so they need another way to make money.

For helmeted figures, I think Sideshow did a decent job. If I had the Sideshow Cody, will definitely skip the HT ones. I will probably never display it with the headsculpt. Cody is only Cody with that helmet on.

I've got Cody (and Rex) on pre-order. The Sideshow clones all look like they hold up real well and as you point out in the video, Sideshow do some nice stuff, like accessories, the "action running" feet etc. Always liked how they put the pegs on the hands. I haven't been able to find this guy on the secondary market for a price I'm willing to pay. Now the HT toys one will likely be released before the end of the year I'm struggling even more to get the SS version now, but he is a beautiful figure. I'm hoping HT do a Commander Wolffe, always loved his design.

man I really have a concern. Sideshow are like legit 5-6 years old or smt. Just imagine the quality decline???! Thats really holding me back from buying a star wars wolf sideshow figure thats $210.
