I find your videos very useful and nicely structured. Subscribed! I’ve been holding Upstart a lot longer (MF recommendation) but I believe Sofi is a better and more useful business.
Parkev, I think SoFi is such an incredible company. I use them as a bank and I also have invested in them for years. I feel like the stock does not match the company fundamentals!
Great video, I disagree on the point that lenders became sceptical about the platform. They have grown the number lenders quarter on quarter, also two of their largest lenders have resigned with them last month. Plus in multiple calls they mention how borrows are now no longer meeting their lending rate with the higher interest. Again I love the channel and keep the videos coming. Thank you.
All good, but sofi has bigger risk too. Their loan target more on young ppl with high fico score. But now job market isn’t good, ppl hard to find jobs => they can’t pay back. Let’s see, I’m holding both. I agree what u said. But more like 70% upstart 30% sofi. Both are good companies. I believe AI changes our world, keep touch with it in any field
I don’t believe these stock are going to explode. Don’t get FOMO, you can wait and have lots of time to get in. I don’t feel too excited about either stock.
Can you please talk more about the disruption affects of AI on financial services sector. I am thinking that this sector is very vulnerable to disruption by AI technology and possible competitions from the magnificent seven and other megacaps companies. The other issue is possible increased concentration of wealth among populations caused by unemployment that is caused by technological revolution. Am I thinking much too far ahead and what I am saying has less relevance in practical terms?
My crystal balls says…. SoFi will hit 6.30 tomorrow and then run to $10 over the coming several weeks and months and further once students take out loans in the fall
